Whew!! Hello friends! We were holding off posting this because we had a feeling we’d move… and we did! We’re now ALL the way across the hall at @emeraldcitycomiccon at booth 707! We moved with our friends (now next to us), @sketchcartel!! - But wow. This show. We flew here (and it was a terrible experience - how many flight related disasters can happen in one trip? Answer: literally everything - we even lost all of our setup stuff for 7 hours because it was on the wrong PLANE). But yeah. Please come get rid of our stuff so we can bring less of it back with us, so if the airline loses it again, we don’t cry. - But all joking aside, please come visit us! It’s been a bit sleepy so far - thanks rain - but the weekend promises to be more alive! Making fun (and new) products sometimes can take a ton of trial and error! It also can be super expensive when you’re just testing since you’re only doing limited quantities. - I have exactly zero idea on how popular #deskmats are - was literally only reminded to post this here because I saw a poll by @arisa_chibara (<3). What do you guys think of art desk mats? Yes? No? - Excited to have the finished product of these in-hand soon… they’re currently crossing an ocean, so no exact eta on the in-hand drop. It was obviously an excuse for cannoli and chocolate (kidding, was just at the right place at the right time). - Reminder: Our shop is going on full hiatus from Nov. 1 to Nov. 20th in anticipation of Black Friday and our mental health flushing itself down the toilet (aka, 2 shows and readying the recount for our upcoming Black Friday sale). - We ARE shipping via DHL priority for international, so orders placed from Nov. 25-Nov. 28th should make it, but if you’d like to be 100% sure, please place orders now. Domestics have until Dec. 14th for first class, Dec. 17th if you wish to pay for the upgrade. If you’re looking for updates on Red Riding Hood (and aren’t in Discord - we update there most frequently!), please check out the public post now in Patreon. - TL;DR - We agreed on a sample with a manufacturer and they changed the colors without asking because they “ran out of pigment.” We had to pay to them remade because they decided their solution would be to “fix” the pins by ripping the enamel out and recoloring… we said no way in pin hell due to the damages that would cause (after telling us initially they’d offer us “5% off a future order”). That conversation was basically how much our pride could be insulted. - While I’m working on grading the main batch, you can also reserve one of the miscolored pins at a cheaper price through the 15th. After that they’ll be set to standard pricings.
