Enjoy an expert led #rosé tasting, the official wine of summertime, while you create a beautiful bespoke floral arrangement. At the end of the evening you’ll take home your seasonal arrangement, along with floral tips and best care tricks for your farmer’s market bouquets! Our upcoming workshop Spring Herb Wreaths at Porches Cafe will feature two fantastic #ncgrown lavender varieties. 💜Lavender John of Carolina Lavender has a passion for lavender and all you need is one conversation to know it. Located in Gastonia, the farm grows several varieties of lavender and produces lavender-based products such as essential lavender oil, lavender lotions, lavender-infused honey and more. Lavender blooming season is just getting underway and the farm will begin opening to visitors wishing to walk the fields and shop the farm store this week. This group turned out to be the perfect blend of sugar and sass! We had mamas, aunts, sisters, daughters and all left as friends. Hey y’all! Thought I’d take this opportunity to share a little bit from the personal side. I’m Trina, born and raised in the Carolinas, (born in NC, but mostly raised in North Myrtle Beach, SC) and I love both states. In January 2018, after watching @alicelrlewis land 2 Sharks with her successful @sharktankabc pitch, I joined the @alicestable team and began hosting flower arranging workshops locally. I've always had a love for flowers and was blessed with the opportunity to study floral design at @longwoodgardens. While living in Delaware, I worked as a floral designer for a small independent flower shop in Bethany Beach, but also have been employed as a school registrar and children's librarian at my local public library. I'm married to a great guy who has always supported my dreams, have 3 beautiful kids and I just turned 50 this year (that last shot is my birthday dinner at @chefandthefarmer - did I mention my husband is a great guy?😁). I started this venture because I'm a pretty big introvert and knew it would push me to get out and meet new people, and it has been a rewarding year and I now have a #tribe.
