It has been a WHILE. I'm 28. Remembering that I used to have a Tumblr in high school. It's somewhere in the universe. But here I am. Writing my first blog post. Eating a weird combo of fried chicken and cheese grits. I have two boys now. Can you believe it? Me being a mom. I'm cool. Trust me.

If I can choose one picture to define myself, it would be this one. I am a woman, I am a mother, I am strong. I’ve always been strong enough to smile with grace even when I feel like I won’t make through another day. God has always had his way of shining on me, even when I feel less than worthy. He has blessed me with the gift to carry 3 little boys into this life and for that I’m forever grateful.

I always wanted to be a mom, I knew from a super young age that for me that was the dream and now I'm here. I'm a mother to two beautiful boys and I can honestly say I was right front the start. I have never felt more myself, more at peace, happier than I do now.
Being a mom is hard and it definitely isn't for everyone and that's okay but it's definitely for me and I am so grateful and honored to be their mom.
Super proud of my little humans and the people they're becoming.

Last night. Amelia, our brown Newfie, wouldn’t stop barking. She’s the biggest of the litter. The most protective. I walked through the house. Checked locks. On doors. On windows. Looked outside with a flashlight. Did this two, maybe three times. At one point her haunches were raised in front of the downstairs bathroom. I peeked in. I squealed. Just a little.
