sometimes it's very unfortunate to have an interest that's niche amongst your age group because you post about it and none of your friends have any idea of what you're talking about.
Why would Crowley ever be Lucifer? Lucifer is Satan. Satan was in series 1 of Good Omens. We literally saw him, Crowley can't be Lucifer.
I'm not massively a fan of the Raphael theory either mostly cause i don't care enough to look at any of the proposed evidence.
Here's a crazy suggestion:
Crowley as an angel was just Crowley as an Angel. There's no reason to assume that Crowely would be one of the named biblical angels because this is fiction. Do you think that the earth really was made at 9:13 am? No? Then why would you assume that Neil and Terry wanted Crowley to be based on a specific biblical angel?
That’s all, folks! Together, we’ve raised over $400 to donate to the Loveland Therapy Fund! That’s a whole lot of therapy for Black women and girls in the United States, and it’s all thanks to you, Booshlrs.
When we mods took over the zine project, we had no idea what to expect. The Boosh fandom hasn’t had new canon content in a decade, and our little corner of the Internet can feel pretty small sometimes. It’s been so inspiring to see Booshlrs join together from all over Tumblr to purchase the zine and support black lives.
In these trying times, community is more important than ever. As society becomes more divided, it is all the more important for us to find communities of our own and experience the sense of belonging that being part of a group larger than ourselves can give us. The issues we’re facing as a society such as (but not limited to) the rise of facism and white nationalism are so massive that no one person’s resistance, no matter how great, can never overcome on its own.
But when we work alongside others for a common cause, we’re capable of doing great things. $8, on its own, can’t do much to improve the quality of life of a person with mental illness. But when many people contribute, that $8 becomes $400–and that $400 can.
But our work isn’t done. Black lives have always, and will always, matter. Between now and November 3rd, we cannot forget what’s at stake. Voting alone is not enough. Bring your friends and family to the polls. Donate to the Biden campaign. Donate to the campaigns of progressive Senatorial candidates in swing states. If you can’t donate money, donate your time: phone bank, canvas, just get involved. If you’re healthy and low-risk for complications from Covid, volunteer as a poll worker (we are experiencing a shortage of poll workers in the United States, under an administration that is deliberately crippling the USPS during a time when it will have to deliver an unprecedented number of mail-in ballots). Do whatever you can do, no matter how insignificant it may seem in the moment, because when tens of thousands of people band together, their many small contributions become part of a larger movement that’s much more difficult to stop. Together, we achieve many times more than we could ever on our own.
