So, first day at the Pokemart, right? Just got finished training, was sitting at the register for no more than five minutes when this kid, no older than 10 years old, sauntered in, dropped off 20 comet shards, paid for over 500 pokeballs, and left without a hello or goodbye.

Told my coworkers about this, but they just laughed it off like the kid didn’t just take over half our stock of pokeballs??

It’d probably help that fairys are super effective against dark types-

my little brother REALLY wanted the family eevee to evolve into an umbreon (he's says it's "cooler") but she evolved into the most ADORABLE sylveon instead and he's throwing a tantrum. what should i do???

well im no expert on diciplining kids but in my personal opinion he needs to learn to stop being a little bitch about it. if you know anyone with an umbreon with a similar strength then maybe you should show him a battle between the two to prove that fairy types are, indeed, kickass

Speaking of pokerus… how do you feel about the people who purposely infect their ‘mons

ohhhhh my god. okay. so this is my biggest pet peeve in the world. so i'm turning this into a mini PSA

so when a pokémon gets pokérus, it Supposedly will become naturally stronger faster than a healthy counterpart that isn't infected. extra muscle gain, faster metabolism, you get it. and that might be true. sure. thats what makes it super super popular within trainer groups and competitive circles. fine.

but while your pokémon might be getting stronger in the long term, there is a REASON that your pokémon FIGHTS IT OFF and NEVER CATCHES IT AGAIN. it's because it is fucking DEVASTATING to them in the short term. pokérus actively deteriorates and regenerates a pokémons muscles much faster than they should, which causes a jackshit ton of problems. off the top of my head: induced asthma, muscle atrophy, weaker immune response, constant soreness, and sometimes immobility. and during this period, trainers will often not notice and train them EVEN MORE RIGOROUSLY than they would otherwise. vaccinate your goddamn pokémon

Speaking of Applin, I’ve heard that their other evolution, Appletun, looks like an apple pie. How’d they get from a worm in an apple to a doggo cosplaying as a pie??

My Applin looks really sick. It's all mushy. The apple it has is turning brown. Do I get a new apple? Or like, is it the worm???

yeah, it's normal for applin to cycle through apples regularly. if it's rotting there's rotting in the apple flesh it's probably time to get it a new one ASAP. the apple itself doesn't indicate anything about the applin's health until it evolves into a flapple and they fuse
