Pro-AI in the sense of making inaccessible things accessible for people that don't understand a language, can't communicate, or can't receive information like a neuro typical or local. Against AI as I am exhausted researching every fucking thing to see if it's real or not.

pro-AI in the sense of "they taught a bread scanning computer to recognize cancer cells" etc etc

against AI in the sense of "we stole artwork from hundreds to thousands of artists, didn't credit them and didn't financially compensate them"

As someone that just got told that she needs to go to bed earlier cause my tiredness, exhaustion, headaches and depression ALL stem from lack of sleep, I can tell you that I need to have a digital detox to cut out the blue light before I go to bed. This post made me think if I was actually actively happier being online and you know- I wasn't. It's so surreal how the internet has cracked my skull open and inserted its self there. I'm too tired to check, and algorithms are super addictive. You gotta be so vigilante of your well being.

not to sound like your dad but if your not having a great time rn you might legitimately be playing too many video games or being on that damn phone too often, or at least without any necessary activity buffers

fun fact!! it turns out that now when u make a new blog, tumblr forces you to follow 3-4 people before you can change your icon or modify your blog in any way!! this, of course, means that, yes, some of the "potential bots" many of us have been automatically blocking could have possibly been genuine new users who were only just seconds in to having an account!!! tumblr is literally screwing new users over!!!!

y'know, one thing i don't see get talked about much in regards to asexuality is how it feels to never be 'sexually motivated' by anything

and not just when it comes to advertisements using 'sexy' models to try and sell you stuff, but like. in general

sex as a favor, sex as a bribe, sex in exchange for whatever

casual sex, 'friends with benefits' situations, even simple flirting

it all looks a whole lot different from the perspective of someone who's immune to manipulation via sex appeal, who has virtually no understanding as to why sex would motivate someone to cheat on their partner, etc. etc.

sex is worthless to me

i mean, it's useful as a story element in fiction, but it genuinely perplexes me that sex is such a driving force behind so many aspects of irl society & of people's individual lives, for better or for worse

and that it's so deeply ingrained into how the average person views the world & various situations, because the average person feels sexual attraction, whereas i do not

i think the barrier between aces & allos is actually even deeper than it seems on the surface at times, because it's more than just the grating expectation that everyone must want to 'settle down' and have kids, it's also the fact that the majority of the world is sort of 'in' on a joke that aces will never truly be a part of

Concussion update-

Got my new glasses. Headaches are gone, but my brain is angry that my eyes say they can see clear, when they want to see a blurry image T.T

So yeah- hopefully that doesnt take too long to sort out.

Drawing fat people is a MUCH easier way to learn the fundamentals of squish and bulge too. You’ll keep struggling with things touching skin till you understand how fat moves when you touch it. When I learnt squish, I felt way better about my body shape. So worth the journey. 

i know fat is hard to draw bc weight is hard to get right with any body type or size, but aside from it being an important artistic skill to learn for many reasons that take precedence over this one, its also just so fun once you start getting the hang of it and it makes so many wonderful silhouettes. you have got to stop depriving urself of the gorgeous characters u can make with fat and how it sits on different bodies. devastated that hate for my own body kept me from this joy for so many years
