First there was the Big Bang (fanartists illustrated longfic), then the Reverse Bang (writers ficced fanart). Now we bring you the Reverse Itty Bitty Bang, a.k.a. less intensity, less commitment, but EQUAL amounts of collaborative fun. Simply put, this is a fan event in which people write fics based on fanart!

-Commitments:

Artists: 1-3 works, old completed works, new works, sketches, manips, comics, etc. are all welcome. Got an idea you’ve illustrated that you want to see fic for? submit it to the event! The only thing to note is that writers are NOT required to run their fic ideas past you—so while people will not be overwriting your ideas entirely (that’s against the spirit of the event), you must still be willing to let writers take some creative liberties.

Writers: 1-8k, at least one fill. Multiple fills are highly encouraged, and it’s perfectly fine to have multiple fills per art prompt! Wanna show our community of songxiao artists some love? Sign-up & write fic for beautiful fanart, with low intensity and short-term commitment ✨

“I’m sorry for your loss.”
