Ateez: he says something hurtful to you [3]
Masterlist // part one | part two
author's note: don't mind how rusty it is. its been four years, lets write a part three ♡ hope you enjoy!!
Seonghwa:
Tumblr media
The sound of the bell dinging made you look up from your book. A young couple was walking through the door of the book store. They were holding hands and smiling as the older man at the front desk greeted them. You sighed and placed the book in your hands back onto the top shelf. This was the first time in 3 weeks you had managed to push yourself out of bed. Your apartment had become a sad lifeless room that you struggled to even call home.
Feeling like you made a mistake, you turn around and began walking towards the exit. As you opened the door, the cold spring air pushed towards you. Your apartment building wasn't far from the bookstore, a mere 5 minute walk. You were almost there when you noticed a man standing outside the door. He had his hood up and his jacket hood over his head, but you could recognize him from a mile a away.
"Seonghwa?" You call out, making the man look up and over at you. It was indeed him, he was dressed in all black and looked as if he hadn't slept. You walked up to him and stared at him for a moment before speaking again. "Do you want to come inside?"
He didn't verbally say anything, instead he only nodded yes. You opened the door to the building and walked up the stairs towards your apartment on the 3rd floor. When you both walked inside, you closed the door behind you and looked at him. He was scanning around the room, as if he was looking for something he had forgotten.
"What are you doing here, Seonghwa?" You asked, making him pause and look up at you.
"I think I forgot something," his words sounding more like a question.
You furrowed your eyebrows and crossed your arms over your chest. It had been 3 weeks since you seen him, what could he have forgotten this late? "Do you know what it is? If it shows up, I can drop it off another day."
He shook his head. "The thing is, I didn't forget anything."
"What do you-" he cuts you off, "I've been thinking of things to say, excuses that would make me come back here. Come back to see you. But the only thing I could think of was, I messed up. These past 3 weeks have been torture without you."
You blinked a few times, trying to make sense of what he was trying to say. "But you said...you said you didn't love me anymore. You were the one who packed up your things and left me."
"I-I know. I don't know what I was thinking at the time. The group was at a high popularity stage and we weren't seeing each other so often. You & I barely spoke and at the time I thought, maybe that's what I wanted. But when I told you I didn't love you and I saw the look on your face, I knew it wasn't what I wanted. But I couldn't take it back."
You swallowed hard, trying to fight the tears that you didn't even realize were appearing. "So what are you trying to say?"
"I don't want to be apart from you. I want to be your boyfriend, I want to stay by your side even when it gets rough. I want to make up for how much I hurt you during these past few weeks. Please, Y/N, let me come home."
Clearing your throat you continued to stare at him. "You're going to have a lot to make up for."
"I know," he says stepping forward and pulling you into a tight embrace.
Hongjoong:
Tumblr media
You opened your front door to find a delivery driver standing there with a bouquet and a tablet.
"Y/N?" he asks, making you nod as before you sign your name on the tablet. "Have a nice day."
Before you even responded, he started making his way down the hall. Sighing, you closed the door behind you and grabbed the note that was attached to the vase. "I'm really sorry." You put the card back onto the holder and walked into the dining room. Ten other bouquets were covering your table, all of them with different messages, all from the same person. You placed the bouquet down on the table before pulling your phone out and dialing your boyfriend's number.
It didn't take him long to answer with an out of breath, "hello?"
Mentally, you smacked yourself in the face. "You must be a practice, I'll call you later."
"NO!" He shouts before you even get a chance to pull the phone away from your ear. "We were just about to take a break so you called at a good time."
For some reason, you felt as if that was a lie but you kept it to yourself. "I'm just calling to ask you when you're going to stop sending me endless amounts of flowers? My dining table is running out of room at this point."
"So you got my flowers!" He said in a more cheerful tone, "Did you like them?"
You sigh running your finger along one of the petals, "I'm not really a roses type of person. But they are pretty."
"Really? I'll have to change the flowers. Maybe I should've gone with a variety instead of all the same flower," he rambled, mostly talking to himself.
"Joong," you say, cutting him off. "You have to stop sending me flowers, I don't have room for them."
"I want to make up for the things I said the other day. They were hurtful and I was putting myself before you." He tells you, his tone changing to a more serious tone.
"I was in the wrong too," you confess, finally admitting to yourself that he wasn't the only one in the wrong in this situation. "I was being petty when I called Yeosang instead of you. I really wanted to tell you but I was being too stubborn about our fight. I'm sorry for how I treated you."
"Does this mean I can come home now?"
You chuckle and roll your eyes, "you were always allowed to come back home."
Yunho:
Tumblr media
"She's my girl, isn't she?" San says loudly, laughing as he and Wooyoung go over what was said in your classroom.
You were blushing furiously as Yunho was looking down at his drink, his cheeks flushed as well. The two of you were aware of how dramatic your altercation with the girls in your class. It was as if it was something straight out of a teen show.
"Honestly, we should direct a movie for it!" Wooyoung cheered as San agreed.
"It will be a huge hit amongst romance fans," San agreed before taking a drink of his water. "Maybe we can have IU play as Y/N."
"Alright they get it," Seonghwa said, making the two boys quiet down and change the topic. Seonghwa looked over at you as you began scooping a piece of cake onto your fork. "We're happy you were able to join us, Yunho has talked about you a lot."
Your head shot up towards Yunho who was looking at Seonghwa with wide eyes. You could tell he was silently cursing at the older member in his head. "Well, I'm glad I was able to join," you say, smiling back at Yunho.
After parting ways with Yunho's friends, Yunho insisted on walking you home. The two of you were walking in silence, neither of you able to think of something to talk about.
"So," you blurt out, making him look down at you. "Why did you call me pathetic?" You swallowed hard, this wasn't what you wanted to talk about. But you weren't going to be okay without talking about it.
Yunho stayed silent for a moment, trying to find the words. "For years, I had this image of me as this guy who had multiple girls on his arm and couldn't keep a stable relationship. But that's not true, I've never been the type to play with girls. I've never done random hookups and honestly girls don't confess to me. Everyone just made up this person in their head and I kind of went along with it."
You looked up at him as he brushed his fingers through his hair. He let out a sigh and continued. "But when I first met you, you didn't pay attention to me. You didn't care about the rumors circling around me. And then when I saw the letter with my name on it, I..I don't know. Maybe I got worried you started seeing me like everyone else did. My ego got ahead of me and I spoke without even thinking about it. I've never thought of you as anything, pathetic. And I am really sorry for saying those things to you."
You give him a small smile and grab his hand with yours. "This is the reason why I fell for you. I knew you weren't the guy everyone expected you to be, you're much more than that."
Yeosang:
Tumblr media
It felt like you had been walking for hours until you had finally reached your place. Your heart was aching with how much it had gone through in just one day. "You're so goddamn annoying." "I didn't know how to let you down gently." You felt like he saw you as a joke, like someone in his shoes couldn't possibly be with you. You've never felt so down on yourself until today.
You wiped the tears off your face and made your way into the bathroom. Reaching down, you started the water in the tub and looked at yourself in the mirror. Your mascara was visibly on your cheeks, your face red from rushing home.
Slipping your fingers under the hem of your shirt about to take it off when there was a buzz at the front door. You sighed and turned off the bath water before making your way out of the bathroom. Walking through the living room and up to the door, you placed your hand on the knob before pushing it open. Yeosang stood before you, out of breath and looking very distraught.
"What, Yeosang?" You ask, crossing your arms over your chest. For the first time, you didn't care how you looked in front of him. You didn't bother attempting to fix the makeup on your cheeks or brushing your hair back with your fingers.
"I care about you," he starts, "I care about you a lot. And I know right now, in this moment it's not the romantic feeling you feel. But I am attracted to you, Y/N. But I'm not ready for any kind of relationship and I don't want to give you any kind of false hope. I didn't mean to call you annoying, you could never annoy me. I should have been more mature and told you how I originally feeling instead of insulting you and giving you false hope."
"You hurt me, Yeosang," you choked out, feeling the tears build up once more. "I apologize for overwhelming affection I showed. I should've thought before doing so. But you made me feel so awful, and I understand that you don't want a relationship but there's literally any other way we could've handled this."
He nodded in agreement, "I agree. And I'm really sorry for how I treated you. If one day, we can fix this, I really hope I can make it up to you."
"Me too. Goodnight, Yeosang." With that you closed the door and pressed your back to the wall with a sigh
❀ 6 months later ❀
You anxiously paced back and forth in your living room. Twiddling with your thumbs as you waited for buzzer. When the sound finally happened, you took a deep breath and opened the door. Yeosang appeared in front of you with a smile on his face, holding a flower in his hand for you.
"You look amazing," he tells you, handing you the flower and planting a kiss on your cheek. "So, are you ready for our date?"
You smiled back at him, "absolutely."
San:
Tumblr media
Your chest was rising fast as your laid down the mat. You had just finished another work out with San, but now you were beginning to regret your life choices. When San told you he'd help you, you didn't realize he was going to make your whole body feel like jelo.
San rushed up to you with a smile on his face, "How was it? Did you feel the burn? Did you enjoy the workout? I was thinking next time, we can add more reps, maybe a little more cardio."
Oh how you wanted to throw this man out a window. You squinted your eyes at him, "Go away."
He laughed and sat down beside you, "You're so cute, you know that?"
Wincing at the pain, you pushed yourself up and sat beside him. "There's nothing cute about making your partner suffer, San. I'm never coming with you again. And if I do, I'm definitely not training with you."
San leaned over and gave you a kiss on the head, completely ignoring how damp your hair was. "How about we get out of here and grab some snacks for a movie night?"
You quickly looked up at him with hopeful eyes, "ice cream too?"
He laughed and nodded, "ice cream too."
Excitedly, you got up and held your hand out for him. "Come on, I need to shower after this."
"Yeah, you really do smell pretty bad," he joked as you helped him up.
You eyes widened as you let go of his hand, making him fall back onto the floor with a thud. "Says the one who smells like a swamp monster."
"Hey!" He called after you as you left him alone and went towards the locker rooms.
Mingi:
Tumblr media
You smirked at yourself in the mirror as you stared at yourself in the mirror. The tight red dress was going to get you in trouble and you were hoping it would. The more you thought of Mingi getting jealous the more you found yourself being attracted to him. Tonight there was a party that was being thrown for another idols birthday.
You were showing up later than the Ateez members, but you decided to go ahead without them and with a group of girls instead. When you arrived to the party, you hadn't realized how packed the party was going to be. Mingi was friends with many, but you never thought that you'd be in a room with this many people before. You made your way over to a table where a couple of Stray Kids members were sitting.
"Changbin!" You said cheerfully, he stood up and greeted you with a hug while Felix gave you a polite nod. You took a seat beside Changbin and looked around the room. "Have you guys been here long?"
Changbin shook his head. "We just got here maybe ten minutes before you. You didn't come with Mingi?"
"No, they said they were going to be a little later than me so I came with others."
The three of you stayed sitting down, talking and making jokes when you felt someone tap your shoulder. Looking up, you find Mingi his eyes piercing down into yours. Oh, he was not happy.
"Sorry guys, but I've got to take this one home, she's got a long day tomorrow," Mingi tells the other two, not even looking at them.
Mingi grabbed a hold of your hand and helped you to your feet before making his way towards the door. You could overhear Felix say, 'Long day tomorrow or long night tonight?'. Mingi guided your way out the door before the two of you were on the sidewalk. He rose his hand, waving towards a taxi driver that was headed in your direction.
When the taxi stopped, Mingi opened the door for you and whispered in your ear. "You're aware what you did, yes?"
Your body shivered at his words as you nodded, feeling a bit excited. "I know."
"Good, get in."
You slide into the car and Mingi follows after you. He tells the driver your apartment complex as he places his hand on your knee. The thought you having an endless night made your cheeks flush. You couldn't wait to get home.
Wooyoung:
Tumblr media
"What are friends for?"
For some reason, for the first time, you didn't like the sound of those words coming from him. As you continued allow Wooyoung to sweet talk the sponsors, you found yourself stealing glances at him every chance you could.
You were staring at him for a moment when you felt a hand touch your arm. Looking up, a woman old enough to be your grandmother was giving you a warm smile.
"You must really love him," she says, cutting you off guard.
"O-Oh, we aren't dating. We're just friends, we're really close and I didn't want to be here alone," you explain, giving her a soft smile.
She shakes her head, not believing a word you say. "You wouldn't look at someone that way, unless you were in love. And whether you realize it now or not, you are in love with him. I looked at someone like that before."
"Your partner?"
Her smile fades a little before she brings it back. "No, the person I was in love with never found out. They were the right person, but the wrong time. If you're in love with this man, you should tell him. Before it's too late."
"Y/N." The sound of Wooyoung's voice made you turn around to find him looking at you. "Are you ready to go? I think this party is starting to become a bummer." You turn back to look at the woman, but you don't find her anywhere in sight. "Y/N? What are you looking for?"
Looking back up at Wooyoung, you shake your head. "N-Nothing. I'm ready to go."
Before waiting for a response, you make your way towards the exit. Wooyoung followed behind quickly, calling your name as you followed you to the lobby and outside the building.
"Y/N!" He yells once more, making you stop but you didn't turn around. "What happened in there? What's wrong?"
Your head was flooded with so many thoughts. Your heart racing of the thought that you could possibly be an item with Wooyoung. Was that something you wanted? You were so comfortable around him, the thought of being intimate with him gave you butterflies in your stomach. Turning around, you look at the very confused Wooyoung.
"Y/N?"
"I can't be friends with you, Wooyoung." You didn't even think before you blurted it out. Your hands were shaking with how anxious you were.
Wooyoung looked at your shocked and then became sad, "Is it because of what I said earlier? I promise you, you are an amazing person. You're gorgeous, fantastic and-"
You cut him off, "I think I'm in love with you!"
You silently cursed at yourself as the two of you went silent. You couldn't bare to look at him, you didn't want to know what look was on his face. The words came out without you thinking about it. Maybe you didn't have to think about it. You were definitely in love with Wooyoung.
"Want me to help you figure it out?" He asks, his voice suddenly much closer now. He was standing right in front you, without you even noticing that he moved.
"W-What-" was all you managed to get out before Wooyoung lifted your head up with his fingers. Without hesitation, he pressed his lips onto yours. Your stomach felt like it was doing flips as you places your hands on his hips.
Once you pulled away, he looked down at you and licked his lips. "I've been in love with you this whole time."
"You have?" You say, sounding more like whisper.
He nods, "Did that help you figure it out?"
"I-I'm not sure, can we do it again? Maybe a little longer, I didn't get a good read." Wooyoung let out of laugh before he nods and presses his lips onto yours once more.
Jongho:
Tumblr media
You gripped onto the plastic bags that contained 8 lunch boxes. Today was the first day you were going back to the practice room since you talked to Jongho a couple days ago. You felt more nervous than you ever had. The thought of seeing Jongho again, knowing he had feelings for you, made your stomach do flips.
Knocking on the door, you pushed it opened. "I brought food!" Looking up, you noticed how dark the practice room was. "Hello? I could've sworn Seonghwa told me they were here today."
You flipped on the lights and noticed a table in the center of the room with a bouquet of flowers sitting in the middle. Setting the bags on the floor, you walked up to the table and read the note that was there.
"Will you do the honor of being my girlfriend? P.S turn around."
Turning around, you find Jongho standing by the door. His cheeks were already flush as he made his way over to you.
"You did all of this?" you asked, meeting him halfway.
Shyly, he nodded. "I didn't want a big grand gesture but you deserved something a little more than that." You smiled at him, which made him return it. "So what do you think?"
"I'd love to be your girlfriend!" You say, wrapping your arms around him and pulling him into a hug.
A loud applause made you pull away and find the rest of the members cheering. Your brother looked at you and gave you the thumbs up, making you blush.
"Well now that that's settled, can we eat now?" San whined, already looking through the bags to find his box.
You and Jongho laughed and walked over, helping everyone sort out their boxes. The 9 of you sat in a circle, you sitting in the middle of Jongho & Seonghwa.
"So where are you going for your first date?" Wooyoung asked, making everyone look over at Jongho.
Jongho shook his head, "I'm not telling any of you." Seonghwa cleared his throat and looked over at him. "Oh right, we're going to Lotte World." The group laughs as Seonghwa nods, approving the choice.
"I can't wait," you say to Jongho, giving him an excited smile before he smiles back at you.

SKZ Break-Up Reaction (Hyung Line)
A/N: just decided to do a reaction there will be a another version for the rest of the members soon just a small thing to hold you guys over hope you enjoy. I can’t seem to do the keep reading link so I’ll fix it when I get to my computer so sorry about that
Chan:
Tumblr media
You stare at your lock screen, NO NEW MESSAGES, it reads. You should have expected as much. Chan never responded anymore. You look at the time 2:36 a.m. the small clock reads, the wallpaper photo laughing at your loneliness as you stare at the smile plastered on Chan’s face on the screen. You couldn’t remember the last time you had actually heard from him, a month ago? Maybe two? You weren't sure, only thing you knew was your phone was filled with unanswered calls and ignored messages on his part. You stare around the room, now void of all of your things. Your bags packed away in your trunk. You don’t know why you’ve stayed that way for the past two days. Your life packed up and ready to be started somewhere else. But something kept holding you back.
Maybe it was your need to see him one more time before you left. Maybe it was your hope for him to beg you to stay, but he’d have to come home to even know what's going on. You knew he didn’t even read your message to come home and talk yet, here you were alone. You bit your lip, maybe it was hopeless, waiting for him to come home; still here you sat on what was now his bed, in his home waiting for him to come back so you can inform him of your departure. Your heart sank as a small ping rings through the air.
NEW MESSAGE: CHAN ❤️
I'm sorry, I'll come home tomorrow night. I miss you so fucking much
You felt the tears run down your face. Opting to ignore his message, you sob to yourself. It was always the same thing and tomorrow never came for the past month that was always the only thing you heard. You were tired of waiting for tomorrow night, you were tired of waiting for him. So, with a heavy heart you lift yourself from the bed. Taking one last look at the memory of you two, you make your way to the door. Your hands are shaky as you grab your purse. Pulling your keys, you take the house key off placing it on the key ring on the wall. You grab your jacket; something reflects off the light. You stared at your right hand, there it sat, the last thing that would tie you to him. Your promise ring, your heart cracks as you fiddle with the object, circling it around your finger a few times before taking it off and placing it on the wooden shoe rack next to the door. You give one last look at your former apartment before making your way to your car and driving away with tears in your eyes.
Chan felt his heart soar as he finally parked in the driveway.  He felt like he was going to cry as he pulled himself out of the car, he needed to see you. He hadn't realized how long it had been since he had drowned in your presence. He needed to feel you in his arms whilst he finally lay in his bed and get some much-needed sleep. He let out a heavy sigh as he unlocked the door, placing his keys on the ring, he noticed a single key. His eyes scrunch in confusion as he takes his shoes off, something catches his eye shimmering under the light. His heart drops as he recognizes the ring that once adorned your finger. Only then does he notice your presence is gone. Your blanket that once lay on the couch with your books on the coffee table completely missing. His eyes flash toward the bedroom “Babe?!” He called as he took slow hesitant steps toward the door “please….” His eyes watered his breath was trapped in his throat “….be here” he begged to himself. With heavy breath he opens the door, the bed is made, little reminders of you completely erased. He rushed into the room pulling out the drawers that once contained your clothes “No…” he cried as he stumbled back toward the bed. Reaching into his pocket and pulling out his phone. Immediately dialing your number as tears burned his eyes. “Answer…. Please…answer” he begs into the phone his heart cracks as he’s greeted by your voicemail. “No....fuck please...”
To: Y/N 💕

Minho-
Tumblr media
” Why can’t you just get out of my way for fucking once!” Minho exclaimed. You rolled your eyes as you silently fumed. You couldn’t possibly see how it was your fault as he had run into you, you let out a frustrated sigh. “I’m sorry…” you pout, taking slow timid steps toward him “D-do you work today?” You ask timidly, placing your hand on his shoulder softly only for your hand to be shoved off, he nods in response not looking at you. You could feel the heat radiating off your cheeks as you bite your lip softly, “C-can we d-do something if you don’t get out too late? I miss you” you ponder, wrapping your arms around his waist from behind “Why are you always up my ass like honestly Y/N, can you ever just stop being so damn clingy?! JUST LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE” He states as he pulls your arms from around him and stomps his way toward your bedroom.
You nod with tears in your eyes as you make your way toward the bathroom you could feel his eyes on you as you closed the door behind you. Locking it, you feel your breath is shaky. You were used to it. He continuously reminded you of how much you were a burden on his life. You could remember the days he begged you not to leave his arms in the early mornings before his practices. You don’t know what had changed, he was always a little standoffish, but he was never this blatantly cold and mean. Your heart sang praises as you entered the shower. The warm water kisses your skin. You could hear the front door slam closed signifying Minho’s departure. You sigh to yourself as you pull yourself out of the shower and into your shared bedroom. You had a few hours to give Minho what he wanted. You pull your clothes on and begin packing your things. If Minho wanted to be left alone then you would give that to him. Your presence seemed to ruin his mood every day and you couldn’t make him happy anymore.
You were grateful that you had finished packing the few things you had brought into the relationship only a couple hours later. You were trying to do everything quickly before Minho came home so you could avoid the tears that would fall from your eyes at the satisfied look on his face at your departure.  Hearing a low honk from outside, you let out a heavy sigh as you pick up one of the bags. You make your way to the taxi you had called. Placing bag after bag into the trunk. “I'm sorry I think there's just one more” You apologize to the driver who sits in annoyance at your lack of speed. Rushing back through the door you take one final look around, checking for anything you could have missed. Your eyes land on the picture placed on the side of the bed. You and Minho, with a big smile on your faces, caked decorating Minho’s lips and cheeks whilst his members squeezed you two together in attempts to get in the photo. A sad smile is held on your lips at the memory, your heart cracks as you stare at Minho’s smile.
A look you haven't seen for a long time, you wished you could go back to that time and cherish every bit of happiness he showed you. The taxi driver honking pulls you out of your thoughts. Placing the photo back on the nightstand, you take your final trip out the door with the last bag. Opening the back passenger door, you place the bag on the seat behind the driver before you feel a hand encasing your wrist. You jump in shock as you turn to face the culprit, you're met with a wide-eyed Minho. His mouth hung open; eyebrows scrunched together in confusion. “W-what’s going on? W-where are you going?” He stammered. Your eyes drift to the ground as you shuffle on back and forth on your feet “I'm sorry, I thought I would be gone before you got back, I'm going now though” your bottom lip, you couldn’t bring yourself to look at him. “Goodbye Minho” you whispered as you pull your wrist from his grip and close the door telling the driver your parents address. You couldn’t bring yourself to look at him as you drove away.
Minho stood in shock not comprehending your words as he stared at your crying figure in the vehicle. So many questions circled around in his head. Why had you left? Where were you going? Why hadn't you told him you had planned a trip somewhere? Why did you want to leave before he got back? Did you take him seriously earlier? His heart clenched at that one, you didn’t---you couldn’t have. You know he didn’t mean it; you must know he didn’t mean it. He loves you, fuck he loves you he doesn’t want you to leave him alone, if anything it was the opposite. He was the clingy one, he needed you around him all the time to even be able to get out of bed and you had to have known that he was just mad, you wouldn’t leave him over it, right? Right? You love him you couldn’t leave. His eyes watered as the cab drove away. His breath got caught in his throat. You were leaving, you were going to leave and not come back. His legs acted of their own accord as he chased after the car, tears streamed down his face as he called your name. His legs felt like jelly as he felt his ability to breath dwindle. Please...just keep going Minho he begged himself. Sobs ripped through his chest as he collapsed to his knees. Fuck come back...... he cried to nothing.
Changbin:
Tumblr media
“You never listen! Like seriously Y/N! I’m tired of telling you shit only for you to fucking ignore me!” Changbin exclaimed. You couldn’t remember how the fight had started some hours ago, the only thing you were sure of was that it was over, something that wasn’t as important as both of your anger had suggested. “Oh, I never listen?! How many times have I asked you to pick me up from work only to walk home…in the rain I might add? You continuously ignore things I’ve asked of you, and you are rarely ever here!” You scoff, crossing your arms over your chest as you roll your eyes. You could feel the fire from Changbin’s glare burning into your face. “Did you ever think that maybe I didn’t want to be around you?  You’re fucking infuriating! You never even try to listen to my point of view! You continuously go against me every chance you get!” He growls his eyes in a scowl. You feel tears welling up in your eyes as he continues his rant.
“So why are you even with me then?!” You spit. He shakes his head in response “honestly, I have no clue…this is a waste of my time and a mistake” you feel your heart clench at his words, you scoff “good to know…”  with a definitive nod you stomp toward his bedroom grabbing your keys phone and purse. You saw nothing but red as you barreled your way to the door. As you exit his room you give him one last look “I won’t waste anymore of your time Changbin, let’s not keep making this mistake then” you state, tears running down your cheeks. You stare at him; his eyes wide and full of guilt. “Baby—no please just—just don’t. I’m done since this is such a mistake to you then I think you should just forget about me” you cut him off. His eyes fill with tears at your words as he shakes his head rapidly, his hands reaching out for you “N-No, c-come on this is stupid. We can fix this I'm sorry I didn’t mean that I was just angry” his voice is panicked, you stand in place shaking your head at his words. “Those aren't things you say just because you're mad, it's how you’ve felt for a while.” You respond dejectedly.
His figure is shaking as he looks around the room, tears flowing down his cheeks. “I-it's not like that! I'm serious please believe me, you're not a mistake, were not a mistake I'm just stupid please don’t go” He begs. “I'm sorry Changbin, but I don’t think I’d be able to get over this. I'm always going to feel like you feel trapped with me, and it wouldn’t be healthy for us.” he gives you a small nod “I love you; I need you to believe that. Please believe that my love for you can help. I don’t want you to go, I don’t want to lose you. Fuck you're the best thing that’s happened to me in so long. Please don’t leave me.” Your face is warm at his words. Your tears still streaming down your face, as you release a sigh from your throat, “I'm sorry I just need time” you state with a whisper as you make your way out the door.
Hyunjin:
Tumblr media
Your hands were clammy and shaking around the basket, as you made your way through the JYPE building. You had only been here a select few times, and you were always able to figure out where you were as you usually went with Hyunjin. Whilst you were sitting in your dorm you felt the rush of loneliness, so you decided to surprise your boyfriend and his members with Tteokbokki, Bulgogi, and Chuncheon Dakgalbi. You knew they practice for hours without a break, so you figured they’d appreciate not having to order out for once. You were also excited to see Hyunjin as you haven't seen him other than in videocall for weeks. You were excited for their comeback, but you also hated that it took time away from you to spend with him. A smile forms on your lips as you see the familiar practice room. You can hear their voices booming through the door. Reaching for the handle you freeze as you hear Jeongin ask “Hyung, what's going on with you and Y/N?” your ears perk up at the mention of your name. What did he mean? “What do you mean?” You hear Hyunjin respond, annoyance lacing his tone.
“Well...it's just we haven't seen her in a while, and I could just be guessing here but it just seems like something's off. You always seem annoyed when we mention Y/N. I was just making sure you guys didn’t break up or something and we were making it awkward by bringing her up” He states shyly. You smile to yourself. Jeongin had been the first member you had met from Stray Kids, long before you began dating Hyunjin. You appreciated that he felt like getting answers for you. You went to push the door fully open when you heard Hyunjin’s voice grow a little louder “You want to know what's actually awkward? Y/N.” Your heart sinks at his words. You were awkward? “What do you mean by that Hyung?” Jeongin questions. “I mean everything in our relationship is fucking awkward right now. She won't leave me the fuck alone; she calls me all the time not realizing that maybe I don’t want to talk to her if I don’t answer. She just doesn’t understand how the world works. She has this misconception about sex, so that’s completely off the table. Shes a foreigner so her Korean isn't the best, she doesn’t dress like someone who’s exceptionally a prude, but she is....” You look down at your current outfit at his words, a tight crop top and sweatpants. Tears make their way down your cheeks; you decide you don’t want to hear anymore. You place the basket on the ground in front of the door. Your vision is blurry as you knock on the door and make your way down the hall.
You can hear the door open, making you pick up your pace. “Y/N?!” you hear Jisung’s voice call out, bringing you to a halt you turn to face him, bow slightly “I made a lot for you guys please eat” You call back from your place down the hall as you run toward the exit and out the building. You let the tears fall freely as you trudge your way back home. You felt stupid, you didn’t know Hyunjin felt those things. He never told you any of those things. Your bottom lip makes its way between your teeth. You didn’t know your Korean was bad, or that your no sex policy was such a deal breaker for Hyunjin. Youre pulled out of your thoughts by a hand tugging at your wrist. Your eyes connect with the culprit. You look away quickly as you see your boy—soon to be ex-boyfriend staring at you confusion etched onto his face. “Why’d you just drop food off and leave?” he questions sadness laced into his tone. “Please don’t touch me....” You state coldly ripping your arm from his hand. “D-did I do something?” He questions his voice filled with worry. Shaking your head “Just please don’t touch me.......I don’t think this is working out.......” your voice is practically a whisper. Hyunjin’s hands wrap around your arms “What's not working out?” his voice is panicked. You bring your eyes to meet his once again. “Let’s.......Breakup” You state definitively. Hyunjin’s eyes widen his mouth hung open as he shakes his head rapidly. “What?! No—why—why would we? --I don’t understand, what did I do?” he cries, tears filling up his eyes. You pull yourself from his arms as he stands there in shock. Turning away from him you restart your journey back to your dorm.
“Wait! ” He calls “Wait! Please! Don’t go!”
Your pace picks up, your heart racing. You notice the large crowd on the crosswalk, you escape into it. “Please wait for me! Don’t leave—fuck—come on please!” You hear him shoving his way through the crowd. “Y/N! Stop! Don’t go please come back I love you please come back; I'm trying fuck I'm trying please don’t leave me here like this! I don’t want to break up please stop!” He cries. You notice his eyes focused on nothing but you; tears streaming down his face as he continues to try to get to you. You almost stop at his declaration, until his word to Jeongin replays in your mind. Shaking your head, you break out into a run to your dorm.

The silence in the apartment was making you even more frustrated than you already were. You were sitting on the couch with your legs crossing, staring at Jaehyun. Jaehyun, who had already made himself cozy on the chair to your right by the balcony window, was staring directly back at you. Nabi awkwardly watched us from the kitchen as she pretended to do anything to avoid talking to you.
“Why didn’t you bring this up to me?” You ask, looking over at her. She looked up from the kitchen counter and gave you a nervous smile. “You could’ve at lease given me a heads up?”
“I didn’t want him living with us either!” She defending, walking over to the couch and sitting beside you. “It was either that or he wouldn’t have a place to stay! As much as I can’t stand him, I don’t want anyone staying in the streets.”
You winced your eyes at her and looked over at Jaehyun, “You’re the oldest son of J Law Firm. You’re telling me you couldn’t afford your own apartment?”
This made his smirk fall, “No, I can’t.”
“Why not?” You ask, crossing your arms over your chest.
“He’s been cut off,” Nabi answers for him, making you turn over towards her.
You made a confused face, “but I thought you told me that he was going to become the heir of the company? How can you do that if you’re cut off?”
Nabi groaned in frustration and ran her fingers through her hair. “He shouldn’t be the heir regardless if he’s cut off or not,” she looked up from the floor and glared at her brother, “you don’t deserve to be the heir. You don’t even care about the company or this family.”
“Like hell I do!” He snapped at her, “I worked my ass off in the military to come back and prove to dad that I’m ready for this and what does he tell me to do? Follow in my little sister’s footsteps.”
“The military, 20 months?” She spat at him, standing up from the couch. “I’ve been working my ass off for 20 years! I was class president, I was the one who always made number one in one of the most difficult schools in the country. So why is it that I’m still living in your shadow? I can’t leave freely because you decided to fuck up your own life!”
“Okay, that’s enough!” You shout, grabbed her list and gently bringing her down to the couch. “Living together isn’t going to work if you’re just going to fight all the time.” You looked between the two, neither of them wanting to look at the other. Sighing, you turned your attention to Jaehyun. “We have a spare room across from mine, you can stay there for a short, very short while.”
Jaehyun smiled widely at me, “thank you-“
You cut him off by holding your finger up, “but you have to follow house rules. 1. You have to help pay rent and groceries, you’re not freeloading off of us. 2. No bringing one night stands home, I don’t want to run into some random person going through our fridge at 8 in the morning. 3. If you are bringing friends over, let us know at least 2 hours before hand. 4. No friends can stay past 9. 5. Clean up your own messes, we’re not your maids. Deal?”
Jaehyun stared at you before looking at his sister, “Is she always like this?”
Nabi looked up at you before nodding quickly, “you get used to it.”
“Fine,” Jaehyun says, sitting up and smiling at me, “I’ll follow your rules, babe.”
“New rule, don’t ever call me that,” You say standing up and making your way towards your room.
“Sweetheart?” He calls after you down the hall.
“You better stop talking before you find yourself sleeping on pavement.”
The first week of living with Jaehyun wasn’t as bad as you thought it would be. Unfortunately, he still tried to get out of doing his own dishes or taking out the trash but you weren’t allowing it to happen. Nabi and you ended up having one class with him, it was your final class on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. Luckily for you, he was too popular with other students to associate with you.
This semester had just started and it was already a pain in your neck. Not only were you piled with school and babysitting Jaehyun, you still had your own job to worry about. Unlike other kids in your class, you worked as a secretary at K Law Firm. It wasn’t a major company, just a smaller known Law Firm that handled mainly small cases.
“You look exhausted,” a voice says beside you.
You look up from the printer to find Doyoung standing at the doorway, holding papers. “Oh,” you say, quickly standing up straight, “Not tired, just lost in thought.”
Doyoung was the only full time employee who you got close to since you started working. At first neither of you cared for the other existence, but after working together a couple times you gradually became friends. He was hired right of the college and has been working at the company for 2 years.
“Didn’t your semester just start, how are you already overthinking everything?” He joked, walking over and placing his papers on the counter behind you.
You turned around and crossed your arms over your chest. “How would you feel if a girl moved into your apartment for a few months?”
Doyoung furrowed his eyebrows, “First off, I wouldn’t.”
You nodded, “I know but, say you felt like you didn’t have much of a choice and allowed her to anyway. And now that she’s there, home doesn’t feel like home anymore.”
“Well, make it feel like home,” he said with a shrug, “like you said, it’s only for a few months. Once that person gets to where they need to be, they’ll be out of your hair in no time.”
“Right,” you agreed before giving him a smile. “Thank you.”
Reaching down, you grabbed your copies and headed back to your boss. The rest of your workday felt like it flew by fast after your conversation. Throughout your day, you thought of ways to make yourself more comfortable with Jaehyun around. You pushed your shoes off at the front door and slipped on your slippers before walking into the apartment.
“I’m home!” You call out to anyone that could possibly be home.
Jaehyun popped his head out from the kitchen door and smiled widely. “Thank god, we’re out of food.”
“What?” You say quickly, pushing past him and rushing towards the fridge.
Sure enough, there was nothing but a couple unopened soju bottles that sat on the top shelve. None of the leftover pasta from last night, no food from your mom that she brought you every week, not even apples you bought two days ago.
“Do you think you could go get some food?” He asks, making you turn around and glare at him.
“That food was supposed to last Nabi and I the next two weeks. How could you honestly, devour it overnight?” You ask him before shaking your head, “Also, I am not buying this weeks groceries, you are. You decided to be the one to eat everything, so you’re going to be the one to refill everything.”
Jaehyun followed you as you closed the fridge and went towards the living room. “How am I supposed to do that? I don’t have any money, if you don’t remember I got cut off.”
“Here’s a thought!” You say, turning to face him. You nearly bumped into him unaware of how close he was to you. “Get a job.”
Turning back around you went towards your room and slammed the door. Annoyed was an understatement of how you felt. You were sure how to react to someone who could be so clueless and stupid. Groaning you laid back on your bed and covered your face with your hands.
“I’m telling you, it’s like the only person that matters is himself,” you exclaim to Doyoung, “Yesterday he expected me to do his laundry, because he didn’t know how to do it. So I had to show him step by step how to use a washer and dryer.”
Doyoung finished swallowing his water before speaking, “sounds like you’re raising a child, you sure he’ll be fine in a few months without help?”
“He’s gonna have to be because he won’t be my problem anymore once his living situation is fixed.” You sighed and stared at your very depressing food. Thanks to Jaehyun eating everything in the apartment you had to result into picking up convenient store food whenever you had the time. “Can you take him?”
Doyoung chuckled and shook his head, “I already have to deal with Yuta & Taeyong, I don’t think I could handle another one. Besides, you mentioned his sister was living with you, maybe it’s better that way.”
“Y/N,” you look away from Doyoung and towards the door where your boss, Kwon Yuri, was staring at you. “I know your on break, but when you’re finished with lunch I’m gonna need you to meet me in my office.”
You nodded, “Yes, ma’am.” She nodded towards the both of us before leaving the room. You turned back towards Doyoung, confused as to what she could possibly need from you. “Did I do something wrong?”
“She probably just has a big project for you to work on or something. Maybe a new fancy client,” he says with a shrug before reaching over and swapping his homemade food with your food. “Eat up.”
The rest of your lunch break you couldn’t help but try to figure out what your boss needed from you? More research on the new case? No, you had given her everything she could possibly need. Maybe she was just given a new case and needed an extra hand? No, she wouldn’t of asked her secretary for a hand.
You gently knocked on the door and waited for her to call you in before walking inside the office. Ms. Kwon was sitting at her desk with someone sitting in front of her desk. He was facing you, but you could tell he was wearing a nice suit. A new client?
“Great, you’re just in time, please sit,” Ms. Kwon instructed your, raising her hand towards the empty seat next to the man.
You nodded and made your way over towards the chair. It was when you got a good glimpse of the man was when you felt your stomach drop. Swallowing hard, you sat in the fair and crossed your ankles under the chair.
“Y/N, this is Jung Jaehyun,” she introduces. Jaehyun looked over at you and gave you a mischievous smile that you wish you could wipe off. You sent a small smile in return along with a small nod. “Mr. Kim’s secretary just put in her two weeks so Mr. Jung will be taking over for her. So what I’m asking is, for the next two weeks will you be comfortable with him following in your footsteps? I know you’re already very busy but you are the most trusted secretary in this office.”
No, Hell no. First I have to deal with him at home and school, now work? No! Why should I have to babysit him every second of every day? Ignoring your thoughts, you gave Ms. Kwon a smile, “of course, it would’t be bother at all.” Like hell it will.
Jaehyun looked over at you, “I look forward to working with you.”
“Me too,” you say with a smile. You won’t last a week.

“I can’t do this anymore.”
His soft tone made you stop your tracks. Your wide smile turning into a frown as your heart began to race. It was time, you thought. Swallowing hard, you prepared yourself for the heartache. You closed your eyes as you listened to his footsteps move from behind you to in front of you. Slowly, you opened your eyes to find Seonghwa staring down at you with sympathy written across his face.
“I know,” you whispered, making him look at you surprised. The tears began to fill your eyes as you continued to stared at him. “We have been together for 4 years, this past year has felt like the two of us has been forcing our love. We’ve both changed, you’re successful with your life and I haven’t even gotten halfway through college. We barely see each other and when we do...it’s dull. We grew apart from when we were younger. It happens in most cases.”
Seonghwa’s adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed, the tears began to show in his eyes as well. He hated admitting that there was something different about your relationship. He hated knowing the fact that he wasn’t in love with the same person he was with these past 4 years. He loved you. He was always, and forever, going to love you but he wasn’t in love with you anymore.
You groaned and looked up at the night sky, trying to avoid the tears that would not stop appearing after every single one fell from your eyes. “Gosh this hurts more than I ever thought this would.”
“I’m never going to stop supporting you, Y/N,” Seonghwa tells you. “Even if we stop seeing each other, I’m going to support you completely and be by yourself every step of the way.”
You look down at him before wrapping your arms around his waist and hugging him. “I hope you find someone who deserves you and will always put a smile on your face.”
Seonghwa didn’t say anything as he wrapped his arms around you and rested his head on yours. You feared  that this was bound to happen soon. But you didn’t expect it to happen on a date, two weeks before your anniversary. The cold breeze felt soft against your cheek, although your long romance was over a door for a new change was opening.
s p r i n g
A light knock at your door, startled you awake from you nap. You already knew who it was do you didn’t bother to respond. Sighing, you pulled the blanket over your head and closed your eyes. You wanted nothing but to be alone, it had been three month since your break up. Sure, you were certain that the chemistry was gone between the two of you but that didn’t mean that you didn’t hurt anymore.
“Y/N, I brought you some fruit,” your roommate, Eunjoo, calls from the other end. “I know you don’t have class or work today but I was thinking maybe we can go out and do something? Maybe see a movie or go to the arcade?”
“Thank you for the food,” you call back.
Eunjoo sighs, “Y/N, it’s been three months since you’ve gone out. I know you’re still in pain but it’s not going to get any better until you actually try to get better.”
It was silent on both ends of the door. Eunjoo felt defeated and began to walk away when the door opened. Smiling, she turned to find you wrapped in a blanket and staring at her with tired eyes.
“Awh, honey,” she reaches out and pulls you out into a tight hug. You accept the hug and hug her back. “We should go out, just for tonight. If you don’t like it, I’ll stop bugging you about it.”
You lifted your head up and nodded, “okay, I’ll go.”
She cheered and broke off the hug before she started going on and on about what the two of you were going to wear. You smiled and allowed to go into your room and rummage through your clothing. It didn’t take her long to pick out clothes for you. After taking a shower and changing your clothes you allowed Eunjoo to take you to wherever she wanted.
The first location was your local boba place; the two of you often went but lately you haven’t stepped foot into the place. It felt a little refreshing to get your favorite drink that you hadn’t gotten to have in a while.
The second location was the movies, she allowed you to choose a horror mystery movie. Although it wasn’t her cup of tea, she was just happy to bring you out of your cave. Walking out of the movie, you found yourself smiling, expressing how much you enjoyed the film to her.
Your third and final location was your favorite Tteok-bokki location. You had mixed emotions when you entered the restaurant. Memories of coming here often with Seonghwa flooded your memory as the two of you walked inside and took a seat. Your fingers rubbed over the other, anxiety making you feel a bit uncomfortable.
Eunjoo quickly noticed this, “let’s go somewhere else.”
She went to stand up when you grabbed her wrist, “No, it’s okay. Why should memories ruin something that I love? Besides, they’re not bad memories.”
This outing, was beginning to make you realize how much you missed Seonghwa. After the two of you broke up, you broke off connection completely. It was too hard for you to continue to even have his number in your phone.
After dinner the two of you directly went home. You said goodnight to each other before walking into your bedrooms. The moment you walked inside, you felt the tears beginning to fill your eyes. Your heart feeling heavy as memories of him clouded your mind. Sliding onto the floor, you pressed your back against the wall and hid your face in your hands. You hated how much this was killing you.
a u t u m n
You breathed out and gripped onto the sleeves of your green sweater before you started walking into your university. The last couple of months had felt weird for you, you had gone into isolation and nothing but studying. But today, today you felt different. Like something new would just show up in front of you. The weather was beginning to warm up but everything felt cold to you.
You were about to head up the stairs when you felt your body collided with someone else’s. Your body collided with the ground as you felt papers fall onto you.
“Crap,” Someone says, making you look up to find a boy leaning towards you with his arm stretched out. “I am so sorry, are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere? Do you think you need to go to the hospital.”
Putting your hand up the boy stopped rambling, “I’m okay, nothing but a couple bumps and bruises.”
“You’re bleeding,” he says staring at your arm.
Looking down and reaching over you could confirm that there was definitely blood. You winced at the pain, “yeah, I guess I am.”
“Here, I’ll take you to the hospital,” he says, helping you onto your feet before reaching down and gathering the papers that fell out of your hands.
You didn’t try to object going to the hospital. Your arm was in pain and you wanted nothing more than to get it looked at. Luckily, the hospital wasn’t far from your college so you didn’t have to travel far. You walked into the waiting room to find the boy still waiting for you. Clearing your throat, the boy looked up at you with a confused expression.
“That was fast,” he says, standing up and grabbing his backpack. “Everything okay?”
You nodded, “yeah, he basically told me that it wasn’t anything major. Just a small scrape from the pavement. You’re still here.”
“Of course, I wasn’t going to just leave you here, I have to make up for hurting you,” he exclaims.
“Don’t worry about it, it’s okay,” you tell him.
He shook his head, “I’m not taking no for an answer. What’s your favorite restaurant?”
You chuckled at how persistent he was. “I…I don’t even know your name!”
“I’m Yunho,” he says, reaching out your hand to shake, “and your name?”
“Y/N,” you say reaching out and shaking his hand.
Yunho pulled your hands away and clapped his together, “perfect, now that we know each other’s name. I think it’s okay fair that you allow me to take you to lunch to apologize.”
Caving in, you agreed to allow him to take you to lunch. Lunch seemed to take up the entire day as you noticed that you had spent the entire day with Yunho. He was funny and made you want to continue to spend time with him. He was easy to talk to, which helped you become more comfortable with him.
You talked about how you were graduating this year and how you already had a job lined up at a nearby preschool. He told you about how he was planning on taking over his father’s local restaurant, but his father insisted on him going to college.
“So this is your place?” He asks, looking up at the apartment building.
You nodded, “yeah, I share a place with my roommate. Thank you again, for today. Although I missed my only class of the day, I still had a lot of fun with you.”
“Can we spend another day together soon?” He asks, looking at you with hopeful eyes.
You stared at him, unsure of how to respond. Yunho gave made you feel like a ton of weight was lifted off your shoulders. You had been so coped up in your apartment that you forgot what any of this felt like. But you weren’t sure if you were even ready to start something new with someone. It hadn’t even been a year since your break up and you still had some feelings for Seonghwa.
You swallowed hard, “Yunho, I had a ton of fun with you today. But I don’t want you to get the wrong idea. I’m going through something right now and I’m not quite in the right state of mind to start something new with someone.”
Yunho nodded and gave you a reassuring smile. “I understand, I’m also okay with just being friends. I won’t push you or anything if you say no.”
“Friends is perfect,” you say, returning the smile.
w i n t e r
“Y/N!” Eunjoo called from outside of your bedroom, “are you ready yet? We meeting the boys at 5!”
You checked your appearance once more in the mirror before walking out. “Calm down, I’m coming.”
“Listen, I know you want to look gorgeous and all, which you do, but we’re going to be late!”
Eunjoo grabbed your hand and pulled you towards the door. You agreed to join Eunjoo on a group blind date. At first you were hesitant, but you ended up agreeing with how persistent she was. You weren’t going to meet someone with the intentions of dating, you were only going to help out Eunjoo. When you arrived at the restaurant Eunjoo pulled out his phone to see if there was any message from the boys.
“There,” she says, pointing the the back of the restaurant.
Two boys were sitting with their backs to you. You were starting to feel nervous as you followed Eunjoo towards the back of the restaurant. Maybe this was a bad idea, maybe you should just go home. You stopped your tracks, which made Eunjoo stop too and look back at you.
“What’s wrong?” She says, looking at you concerned.
“I…I’m sorry, I can’t do this Eunjoo,” you say to her, making you feel incredibly guilty. You knew how excited she was about this date and how you were finally going to go out again. But now that you were here, you weren’t so sure about any of it. “I should go home.”
She moved closer to you and cupped your face in her hands. “Look at me,” she says, making you look at her, “It’s only for a couple of hours. If you can’t handle it after even a few minutes I won’t be upset if you leave, okay? But just trust me when I say that you won’t regret this.”
You swallow hard and nodded your head. “Okay.”
She smiles and starts to head back to the table. Eunjoo greeted the boys but you avoided looking at them. You felt her nudge your arm with her elbow, making you look up. Finally looking up at the boys, your eyes made contact with the one in front of you. You heart skipped the beat at the sight of him. He looked slimmer and had a new pushed back hairdo. He was wearing a nice button down and a pair of jeans.
“Y/N,” Seonghwa says with a soft tone.
His voice made your eyes tear up. You hated how long it had been since you heard him say your name. Seonghwa stood up from his chair and wrap his arm around you. He rested his head onto yours as you held him tightly.
“I’m sorry,” he whispers, making you pull away and look up at him. “I never should’ve broke up with you. It’s been killing me these past few months. I thought what we were doing was a good idea, but the more time went by, the more I realized it wasn’t a good idea.”
You nodded in agreement, “I’m sorry too.”
“I’m sorry too,” A familiar voice says behind Seonghwa.
You pulled away and looked past Seonghwa and at the boy behind him. “Yunho?”
He gave you a wide smile, “I’m in the same company as Seonghwa. I met Eunjoo when she came to company to talk to Seonghwa about you. I was kind of put up as a spy to get the two of you back together.”
“Wait so you’re not trying to take over your dad’s company?” You ask him.
Yunho shakes his head, “Nope. My dad doesn’t even own a business. Although I definitely did not mean to push you down the stairs when we first met.”
“You did what?” Seonghwa asks, turning around to look at the younger boy.
“It doesn’t matter, it’s in the past,” Eunjoo quickly says, “now can we sit and have dinner? I’m starving and I want to enjoy this double date.”
Yunho moved over to the other side of the table to sit beside Eunjoo. You sat across from Eunjoo with Seonghwa sitting beside you. His fingers intertwined with yours as he held onto your hand under the table.
“Can you stop being so sappy in front of me?” Yunho says towards Seonghwa, making him chuckle.
“Shush and decide what you want to eat,” Eunjoo tells him, sending him a playful glare.
Yunho smirked and turned toward her, “I already know.”
“I’m going to be sick,” you mutter, making Seonghwa and Eunjoo crack up.
Yunho covered his face with the menu, trying his best to hide his embarrassment. Eunjoo started to tease him more, telling him to put down the menu but he refused. You felt Seonghwa squeeze your hand, making you look up at him. He gave you a smile before pulling your hand up to his lips and giving it a small kiss. Butterflies filled your stomach as the two of you smiled at each other.
