Welcome to Chuunibyou Showdown 2024, a poll bracket for chuunibyou characters across various series. The series is geared mostly towards evil eye-type chuunis, but less common chuuni types are okay and encouraged! Below is a description from TV Tropes for those unfamiliar with the term.

In general, chuunis act like overly melodramatic know-nothing know-it-alls who think of themselves as more awesome than everyone else because of experiences, abilities, and even special powers that they clearly don’t have.

Tournament Rules

50-50 ties will go to whichever character had the most votes/is displayed as the winner (Tumblr rounds percentages to the nearest integer)

Propaganda and anti-propaganda is okay and encouraged! Just don't doxx each other or harass someone over their choice.

There will be 32 characters as well as a loser's bracket.

Submit your favorite chuunis below!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Characters who participated last year are not guaranteed to get in again this year, so please submit them! The only exception is Anghel Higure, last year's victor.
