Aw crud the dang bots are now being marked as "mature" so I can't even block them when they follow me because of my settings. Fantastic.
Its name is "MatingPosting" too, which is one of the worse ones I've gotten lately.

Alright, so I'm adding to this to discuss each of these. OBVIOUSLY THERE WILL BE MAJOR SPOILERS FOR BOTH GAMES UNDER THE "KEEP READING" SO ONLY READ IF YOU ARE OK WITH SPOILERS OR ALREADY SEEN THE SERIES. This will also be long.
Also is my first time trying to use pictures and picture IDs so if I mess anything up there, lmk.
So the wrong answers will be in order of lowest percent to highest percent.
Two have 1.1%, so I'll bring up the first one with "There is a cult for the % symbol".
Tumblr media
[ID: An in-game screenshot from AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - nirvanA Initiative. The screenshot takes place in a dark cathedral with a primary focus on the usage of the AI-Sight containing a % mark in the middle of a circle, marked as the "Symbol of the Order of %". Near the bottom of the image is a dialogue box from just Voice that states "The mark of % is a holy sign of the creator." /End ID.]
Honestly both surprised and not surprised this was barely voted for, though this IS information said in the very first chapter of the game, so even people who simply started the sequel should know this is true.
The other 1.1% vote is "Someone states their name is Boat".
Tumblr media
[ID: An in-game screenshot from AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - nirvanA Initiative. It features a character in an iron mask standing in front of a pillar. Near the bottom of the screen is a textbox from a character named Tearer which says " "Boat" ." /End ID.]
Yeah, this is another one that, while it is about half-way through the sequel, is fairly well known. It is pretty funny, even if it does have symbolic meaning that honestly I'm in no position to discuss it here.
At 2.2% there is "Someone is convinced their child is the messiah".
First off, allow me to just explain. The previously explained "there is a cult for the % symbol" is important here since the lore has it so the first victim of the sequel (nirvanA Initiative) was born to a member of said cult...and he just so happened to have a % shaped birthmark.
Then the poor kid ends up getting tumors on the side of his face without the birthmark, someone gets kidnapped and what happens is...well, disfigurement for, as Aiba can say for me...
Tumblr media
[ID: An in-game screenshot from AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - nirvanA Initiative. The intended focus is on the figure present in the diamond shaped AI Sight feature labeled as "Jin". Jin is wearing a black suit with a grey turtleneck of sorts underneath it. The most notable part of him is his mismatched face, being pale with detailed blond hair on what the game calls his "right half" while his "left half" has more flattened black hair, a slightly puffier cheek and a red birthmark that resembles a % sign. It also features Aiba, who is saying "A holy symbol for the Order of %...It was considered sacred."]
Yeah! What a life, or, was a life, he's dead now.
And yes, these three screenshots have all been from the same place, don't worry, we're finally escaping this cathedral.
A somewhat surprising 3.4% was "One character gets superpowers whenever they see porn".
This is mainly surprising to me because said character is the main character of the first game, Kaname Date, and the fact some more heavy sequel stuff got less votes. Perhaps "superpowers" is giving a little too much credit to the man, as the FILE of the first game simply states "Reaction time increases 3.6 times under certain conditions".
At the same time that is...oddly impressive and the sequel amps this up by giving him a literal super saiyan aura and having him shout "Porno Mag Power" so you know how it is. He's also realized his own strength by the sequel and purposefully activates it himself in an alternate timeline while attempting to activate it in the canon timeline.
Tumblr media
[ID: An in-game screenshot from AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - nirvanA Initiative. The screenshot contains a picture of Kaname Date with his eyepatch holding onto a pornographic magazine with giving a smug grin. The bottom of the screenshot contains a line from him saying "And that's that." /End ID]
Two people love this man by the way.
At 4.5% is "A character is retconned into being a clone".
So...this one is an interesting case since they use the term "sisters" and such more often, but this is a multilayered one. First is in the first chapter of Mizuki's side in the sequel, it is revealed that Mizuki wasn't born to Shoko Nadami and Renju Okiura like the first game implied, rather, she was created at Horadori Institute and was adopted when she was three.
Then, first revealed at the end of the Lien & Kizuna route, the Masked Woman who has appeared several times throughout the story has her mask broken and slightly resembles Mizuki. This is confirmed during Mizuki Chapter 5 with a full explanation that includes that the Mizuki we met during the first game was created to be a perfect version of this older Mizuki introduced in the sequel.
Tumblr media
[ID: An in-game screenshot from AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - nirvanA Initiative. It contains a woman with light blue hair in white robes with red markings on the bottom sitting down at a bench while snow falls at Aioen, an orphanage. The left of the screen contains an AI Sight with two cyan spheres labeled as "Two Fertilized Eggs". The woman, called "Masked Woman" despite not currently having her mask on, speaking with a dialogue box saying "Basically, you're an upgrade... The Perfect version of me..." /End ID]
This also is used to serve some other confusing matters but if you are seeing this while blind, honestly you probably have seen the biggest twist here out of the two.
At 13.5%, one that is reasonable to get this high is "A politician becomes a catgirl".
This one is reasonable since this technically isn't canon. However, on the left routes of the first game, this will always happen. I have no idea how to word this in a way that doesn't spoil the first game so to just bluntly state it, So's consciousness on this side is swapped into Iris Sagan's body, a young teenage girl who always wears her cat-ear headbands in this game and is commonly called a catgirl by the community.
I honestly don't have an image for this one, but Uchikoshi has stated that So at least would try to restart his political career in the Mizuki and Ota routes so uh...good luck to those Sos I suppose.
At 15.7% is "the mother of a streamer is confused for said streamer"
Another first game spoiler and this one also makes sense with the votes since the primary streamer character is Iris Sagan, who not only wears cat-ear headbands, but also has a bright pink and blue outfit along with pink hair, she's hard to forget. Her mother is Hitomi Sagan, who has brown hair, a simple sweater and a necklace, seems hard to confuse the two, right?
Tumblr media
[ID: An in-game screenshot from AI: The Somnium Files. The location is the Cold Storage Warehouse. On the right is a side view of Kaname Date as he looks to the left of the screen, which contains what seems to be a cold corpse of a woman with long pink hair curled up on a table. /End ID]
Meet Manaka Iwai, the birth mother of Iris. Since she is still the mother of Iris in some way, this is a fair one to place down and not only does Date mistake Manaka for Iris once, he mistakes her for Iris THREE TIMES on the canon route.
At 20.2% is "Every save file of one of the games is personalized"
Sounds like a joke right? This is worded like that one Mario 64 meme...except this isn't a joke. On the first chapter of Ryuki's side of the sequel, another character asks him for the "NIL Number", something the player CAN attempt to answer three times before being booted out each time the scene is loaded. One will notice there is only one save file allowed for this game versus the first game, and this NIL Number is the reason why. A number is generated each time a new save file is made and this will be given during Mizuki's epilogue.
Tumblr media
[ID: An in-game screenshot from AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - nirvanA Initiative. It takes place in a grey office-like space, but there is a waterfall coming from the left that pours throughout the empty space not connecting to the primary office and a giant clear window on the right. In the middle contains a hologram of a woman and in front of said hologram is a set of numbers reading "227807" in neon green. /End ID]
Without spoiling anything, this number is randomly generated and it is rare for two files to end up the same without any outside manipulation. Putting your specific code into that NIL Number segment does have a special result.
At 28.1%, one I am not surprised got the most votes was "Two women are willing to kill each other over a typo"
Why am I not surprised by this one? Because this is exclusive to the Hidden Bats ARG, a promotional ARG made before the release of the sequel and one I'd recommend checking out on the wiki for a full experience. Unlike the ARG coming up to the first game's release, this one contains puzzles to let someone who wasn't there "live" still somewhat participate (though some parts can no longer be accessed).
During the second segment, two characters are kidnapped, Lumina Rikujo and Mariha Monzen, the former saying they've been childhood friends since elementary school. The two of them work together with the audience very well until Lumina gets told to send a message with her birthday to Mariha so they receive water, typing down "2001/5/1" and sending another tweet relieved that "Mari" would get her water. However, not only do they not, but Mariha's reaction is...
Tumblr media
[ID: A screenshot of images containing texts from tweets from Mariha Monzen/門前マリハ @MarihaMonzen, who profile picture shows a woman with pink hair and a massive bow wearing fancy clothing. The messages in order are "I got a reply from Lumi. Something about her birthday...?", "What is this some kind of test? TF is wrong with you" , "You're seriously gonna lie to me like that omg why", and "Okayyy I sent the message just like little miss liar wanted "2001/5/1" okay sure" /End ID]
Yeah, turns out Lumina forgot to add another "1" to her text, meaning to send "2001/5/11" and the two end up arguing for almost the rest of the segment, to the point of Mariha almost screwing both of them over by blocking Lumina when the entire test was meant to link the two while Lumina has an angry meltdown. Don't worry, they make up.
Which leaves the lower 10.1%, "Someone's left half is found six years after their right half" as the false spoiler...and I only realized after making the poll this has some explaining to do and why I made this post to begin with.
I'll be honest. Depending on how you count this, me and the person who helped come up with this idea messed up. We were both thinking about Jin's halves and the twist that Jin's "left half" found at the stadium at the start of the sequel is actually a different person. However, the problem that I remembered that comes up is...
Tumblr media
[ID: An in-game screenshot from AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - nirvanA Initiative. In the right corner is a frozen half corpse leaning against a shelf while the left contains the model icon of Mizuki Date. She is talking angrily as her textbox says "Argh, what the fuck?!" in response to seeing the corpse (and several other things earlier in this scene). /End ID]
By all accounts, this "false spoiler"...is technically a real spoiler. None of the other bodies are found six years apart, and Jin's body is a sort of Schrödinger's truth. It is true with one perspective and false with another, this entirely went over both of our heads when crafting it and while I will explain, I do understand if people feel cheated here.
My mindset when making this the false spoiler was not only the stadium thing, but the fact that Jin's left half was found by someone almost right away, a drunk Komeji discovering, then taking away the corpse a day after he died, then Amame and Gen discovered it by Komeji showing the former and then the latter being asked to hide it in his fridge. This means it was "found" earlier than six years ago by certain people.
However, our main perspective is from members of the police force, who do NOT discover this half of the body until six years later. In fact, Gen's obscuration of the corpse is how one of the in-universe twists is able to happen, not that I believe until anyone found the files placed elsewhere, anyone would look at that corpse and think that was Jin's.
Either way, it seems just like canon, Jin's very existence has led into a spiral for this poll, like how his existence led several people onto the road of (further) misery solely because the poor guy was born. Well, not exactly misery, for me it is more like embarrassment for not noticing this mistake sooner but hey, this is a poll in good fun and a lesson that NI is absolutely insane looking at our ratio. If you read this far, congratulations, in a way this is an apology post so there it is. It was interesting to see the results either way.

i love that specific ao3 phenomenon where you get a sudden influx of kudos on a work and it’s clear someone shared your fic but you have no idea who they are or where they shared it. it’s like being a dickensian orphan receiving money from a mysterious benefactor.

About Ninjago “Ending”
I wasn’t going to make a post about this before, but given how I’ve seen it discussed as far as non-fandom Twitter accounts, I felt that this needed to be talked about since it seems like people are receiving misinformation/missing info.
I have seen…an absurd amount of people and accounts talking about how Ninjago is completely over. Which, in almost every sense of the word, is untrue.
Ninjago is not ending! Yes, the “main storyline” is ending, but does that mean that it’s over? No! Ninjago United has started to have announcements months ago, from the preview graphic at a con to its title being leaked from a crew member’s resume to even major members of the crew responding about it on Twitter.
There will be more Ninjago content - there’s already a book slated to release in March of 2023, there’s new EVO sets in January 2023, and United’s at least going to have two seasons. And the cast we all know and love isn’t disappearing! EVO and the books both employ the main six.
On top of this - Ninjago United has been confirmed to not be a reboot! All we know about it is the minimal vague info talked about at SDCC, which included them stating that it wouldn’t be a reboot.
Tumblr media
Yes, it’s the end of the “main storyline” with Crystalized, however you wish to interpret that until we get more clarification, but Ninjago is far from over! We’ll still see more of the same characters and content we’ve grown to know and love!
Sorry if this seems annoyed or just rambling, but it has gotten to be incredibly overwhelming to not be able to look anywhere without seeing “Goodbye Ninjago” or getting messages about Ninjago being over or even unrelated Twitter accounts talking about how it ended. Even if it was truly over, that doesn’t mean that the fanbase will drop off the face of the earth. It isn’t over.
The main storyline ended. Not the show, and not the characters.

So I made an AU
in an alternate version of Ninjago where the elemental master of lightning was never able to be found, the ninja have managed to scrape by well enough with Nya unlocking her potential with water much earlier. They’ve resigned to the fact that they’ll probably never find the last elemental master to protect Ninjago and the green ninja
Until they enter a video game that’s been kidnapping the population and find someone who says he’s an NPC but is very clearly a spinjitsu master with elemental lightning powers
AKA Jay spends a good chunk of his life trapped in Prime Empire and he completely forgets he’s a person and also has no idea he’s the elemental master of lightning that’s been powering the game since it’s creation
I’m calling it the Cabinet Man AU and if you know why that is I love you
