"Just one more," Gayle said as she hugged a not so relaxed cat to her chest.
"My dear, I think eight cats is already enough between the two of us." Frond took a sip of his coffee, a grey tabby winding itself around his legs.
"Just oooone moore. We don't have one that is ours, togeeether," she crooned. She held out the cat under its armpits, legs dangling, right in front of Mr Fronds face.
"You know we'd never be able to settle on which of our houses it would live in."
"Fiiiine," Gayle released the uncomfortable cat with a pout. "But you're bringing me to this cat cafe every week, and if there's one that doesn't get adopted week after week, I can't promise I won't take it."

Gayle & Phillip as parents/married couple and their dynamic with the Belchers
Phillip is so in love with Gayle he excuses her antics, despite driving him crazy. He makes sure she takes her meds and is very caring. Gayle often manipulates him to get what she wants, but she also cares for him and understands that sometimes she can be too much. She always has a way to cheer him up.
Gayle is extremely dependent on Phillip for everything. He is the one who cooks (which he enjoys and is pretty good at it, while Gayle is a terrible cook) and does most of the chores. Gayle also does chores, but mostly half-asses them.
After they get married, Gayle moves in with Phillip and his mother at his house, until she gets pregnant with their daughter. Even after they move to a new apartment, Phillip visits his mother regularly. Phillip's mother and Gayle don't really get along.
Phillip is very excited to be a girl dad. He spoils her, making all kinds of sweaters, dresses and dolls for her to play with. He introduces her to his nerdy interests and they talk A LOT about her feelings and how to handle and express them.
Gayle isn't as affectionate with her daughter as Phillip is, but she tries in her own way to bond with her, like making absurd art and playing music together. She can be very careless in her way to be the fun and cool parent. Sometimes Gayle prioritizes her cats over her child.
Their daughter grows up to be quite eccentric, awkward, sensitive, nerdy and very manipulative, especially with her parents (mostly Gayle)
Bob and Linda help a lot with taking care of Gayle's kid, as they don't believe she can make it when Phillip isn't around. Linda takes her role as the "cool aunt" too seriously, while Bob is way more chill.
Phillip gets closer to Linda and Bob after his daughter is born, but he still gets overwhelmed with Linda's energy. He bonds with Bob over cooking, like exchanging recipes and cooking techniques. Bob even lets him help with the Thanksgiving preparations. They also bond over their shared dislike for their parents-in-law.
The Belcher kids slowly warm up to the idea of Phillip as their uncle, though they never call him "uncle". Phillip is still closer to Tina compared to her siblings. Louise still messes with him but less often. The Belchers get along with their "little weirdo" cousin despite their significant age difference and her peculiar personality. Louise especially enjoys teaching her how to pull pranks.
