You mentioned Genesis convincing Cloud to wear *that* bunny outfit, so it got me wondering, are there any others *special* outfits Genesis has worn?? And how do his partners react to them?

(this post as a whole is rather suggestive so it only feels right to make a MINORS DNI disclaimer!!! it’s nothing explicit but its for my own piece of mind as well as potential safety)

tbh i imagine this man has worn every single sexy outfit in existence!!! but some of my faves to imagine are:

(i have included pics for most of them as examples at the bottom of the post! but a couple are a bit more risqué, even though they are just on mannequins i wanna give that warning!)

- he wore a sexy nun costume for a halloween party one year! and while they should’ve expected it, it was one of the few times he shocked sephiroth and angeal with an outfit because he wore it in public and they hadn’t seen genesis’ costume prior to the party, and it did leave everybody speechless! although they unfortunately didn’t really get to enjoy the outfit because they did end up feeling the need to be a bit overprotective of genesis that night (i think gens would be just slightly more revealing than the one in the picture, slightly longer slits on the thighs and a bigger boob window)

- i truly believe he’s a trend follower, so he didn’t hesitate to get a catboy maid outfit as soon as it became a trend! and he was going to do a photoshoot in it to post online, but he didn’t get the chance to when sephiroth and angeal saw him in it, all the photos ended up need to be a part of their special private collection, and that was the day they all learned how much sephiroth likes seeing genesis in skirts (i think he would’ve gotten a dress with a much shorter skirt than the pic)

- the virgin killer sweater!!! i feel like its close enough to the soldier uniform turtle neck in the front so he probably wore it under his coat so he could surprise them when he took it off, and it quickly became angeal’s favorite

- i feel like a kind of obvious one would be all types of lingerie! although for genesis i definitely imagine something like the succubus kinds of lingerie would suit him well! i feel like the reaction to this from sephiroth and angeal is pretty self explanatory… (there 2 example pics for this because i cant decide)

- i’m not entirely sure the name of the dress type but its something like the last pic! i think he would wear some kind of elegant yet sexy, super short and form fitting dress, probably for a date night or something! and i think it would get a very positive reaction from both of them because i feel like they would think he just genuinely looks pretty in it!

- not really a special outfit but i think he would walk around their house in one of sephiroth’s largest hoodies/sweater, one that goes down to his mid thigh, and only that hoodie/sweater… it was one of the few times sephiroth didn’t complain about his clothes being stolen by genesis and he let genesis keep it (i dont have a pic for it because i feel like its easy to imagine just a basic oversized sweater, i dont have anything too specific in mind)

overall i feel like genesis gets very positive reactions from his partners with all of his more seductive outfits, its something they all enjoy and i feel like its something that genesis truly enjoys as well, i feel like it makes him feel good and confident with the added bonus of being a nice treat for his partners too! its a little hard to go into any details about what i really thing sephiroth and angeal’s reactions would be though because i don’t want to get too explicit and i’m almost worried this post is too suggestive already…

Thoughts on asg having not only one kid but 3? (Aka the remnants)

im entirely on board with that thought, i think it would be entirely chaotic in every possible way! i do think they could figure out how to manage it though

being they’re first time parents and of three children, they probably have to play trial and error a lot, but i feel angeal is quickly able to pick up on each one of their quirks and sephiroth is able to strategize how to manage each of them, but poor genesis is stressed to hell and back and nearly ripping out his hair the entire time

i feel like infancy would be the easiest stage… meaning not easy at all because infants are usually a nightmare, and having three is most likely even worse! especially when its the remnants… i think baby loz would cling to angeal like his life depended on it, to the point angeal has to get one of those baby carriers that straps the baby to your chest, and none of the others would be able to settle loz no matter what. and i think kadaj would be an overall ultra fussy baby, none of them are getting sleep with him around and they all end up having to take shifts to care for him, although for some reason, after kadaj has started tiring himself out, sephiroth is the one that is for some reason able to put him to sleep. i think baby yazoo would be just an absolute angel though, like the perfect baby everyone would wish for, a little clingy but nothing near as bad as loz, and luckiky he doesn’t seem to have much of a parental preference so they’re all able to manage him quite easily.

i think toddler-childhood years with the remnants were a nightmare not only for asg but for yazoo and loz too for having to be brothers of kadaj! the remnants definitely gave asg a major run for their money, but mainly kadaj… kadaj was definitely a little asshole that would bully, fight, and steal loz and yazoo’s toys and such, and was definitely overall just very misbehaved, causing angeal to have to step in and issue punishments, meanwhile genesis was running around to try and sort everything out and help calm down a sobbing loz and sephiroth could probably calm yazoo with ease, although i dont think yazoo would be very bad, maybe a few tears here and there but sephiroth would just mainly have to talk yazoo out of trying to retaliate against kadaj… unfortunately, despite sephiroth’s efforts, genesis will be willing to look the other way on occasion when yazoo does retaliate.

teenage years were definitely the worst though, for everyone involved! genesis probably had to deal with each of their emotional problems, especially because teenage kadaj is most likely reminiscent of teenage genesis going through an angsty phase. loz still very much favors angeal, and i don’t think loz gets into much trouble, but i do think he’d be the most bullied of them all, so angeal would have to frequently try and help loz. angeal is definitely still the punishment giver though, although kadaj and sometimes yazoo dont always listen to angeal, so sephiroth has to step in instead, in which they know they’re in major trouble at that point. i feel like asg definitely raised them well enough that none of the remnants got into any truly bad trouble though, probably just doing the standard teenage angst kind of shit that would get them grounded for like a week.

overall, despite there definitely being plenty of ups and downs, i think asg would do pretty well with three kids! they would definitely be running around constantly but i think with just a bit of communication, the three of them would be able to manage the remnants, especially with each of the remnants having a different favorite parent. the remnants would ultimately grow up pretty well! healthy and happy for the most part! i think they’d be a really nice, healthy family at the end of day, especially when the remnants are all grown up

how i think asgzc behave while angry:

angeal: passive aggressively goes after absolutely everything and everyone!!! even people that weren’t a part of it initially will get dragged into the problem and will be complained about, especially about things that happened years ago, although he manages to do it all in a very calm seeming tone

sephiroth: sets fire to a whole village and tries to wipe out everyone except a single blond twink! no but my hc is that he’s actually just really silent but absolutely menacing, he’ll stand there with his arms crossed and not say a damn word but it fills everyone around him with pure dread and terror

genesis: he’s definitely a crier, and he’ll start getting real condescending! he avoids raising his voice so he can pretend he has some kind of high ground over whoever hes mad at, but he eventually gets really loud and will throw a whole fit about everything

zack: its hard to get him actually mad so when he is mad, it’s TERRIFYING! its such a rare sight but i think he’s similar to angeal somewhat, except he’s direct and he gets LOUD! but also, rather than attacking everyone i think he’s more likely to defend the people around him, mostly because i feel like he mainly gets angry when its a situation where someone is being awful to someone he cares about

cloud: i dont think he truly gets angry angry, i think he’s most likely to actually just go very quiet and sort of shuts down, he’ll bottle it all up until he’s alone and his emotions just overwhelm him, but he still keeps it all mostly internalized

i fully agree on genesis but i’m too on the fence about sephiroth and angeal! because i feel like i can see angeal in the nightgown(?) better than i can see sephiroth in it, but i can absolutely see angeal in the boxers(?)… my solution is that they’re all actually just genesis depending on his mood! and that none of the bad shit in ffvii would’ve happened if someone had just given all three of them a nightgown(?) and a silly little hat to sleep in because who can lose their mind in a silly little hat! no one thats who! overall though, you’re so right anon and i totally agree

some general cloud and genesis bestie headcanons:

- genesis is absolutely cloud’s number 1 supporter in absolutely everything! no matter what, he will always have cloud’s back!

- they both trust each other in ways they don’t trust anyone else

- i feel like they sort of clicked immediately, like they’re very much platonic soulmates to me, and from the moment they met they had a bond like no other

- genesis very much tries to push cloud out of his comfort zone and tries to bring cloud out of his shell, helping cloud push his boundaries and become at the very least a little bit less anxious

- genesis convinces and helps cloud do all the things that cloud is otherwise too insecure or nervous to do! he’ll put cloud in outfits that cloud wants to wear but is too insecure to, he’ll help cloud talk to the other firsts when cloud’s too scared, things like that! he tries to do everything he can to help cloud be more confident in himself!

- they help each other greatly with relationship issues, its mostly genesis helping cloud with advice and such, but there’s also occasions in which genesis just needs a little comfort or a little confidence boost and cloud will do his absolute best to help genesis through it

- they’re very clingy and cuddly with each other!!! they’re very affectionate with each other, and they’re completely comfortable doing nearly anything and everything together!

- genesis is always the first person cloud ever goes to in case he has any kind of problem at all, but especially if he has embarrassing issues because he trusts genesis will help him without any judgement

- genesis will tease cloud a lot, but genesis knows to always make sure cloud is aware that he doesn’t mean it and that its just how genesis shows his affection at times

- they are absolutely the type to gossip to each other about everything

i can actually like vividly imagine something like this happening to them??? like genesis and cloud running into each other while cloud’s looking for the condoms. i think genesis probably gets excited for cloud and happily gives him the condom, but just freezes as he realizes its the last one. then poor genesis is just stuck between how proud he is of cloud and being ready to fight to the death for the condom. meanwhile sephiroth and angeal run into zack while waiting for genesis and the three are stuck waiting on them together, zack gets stuck awkwardly trying to make conversation with angeal and sephiroth. genesis decides to try to bribe cloud, offering up nearly everything he possibly can only for cloud to refuse it all. genesis losing at rock paper scissors and begrudgingly letting cloud have it, but he is absolutely going to bother cloud for any gossip the next day… it all makes so much sense in my head…

ahdjdj tysm anon! :) omg i’ve never actually thought about it, but now that i do i definitely think it would be a bit of a rarer sight! you are so right!

instances in which i think angeal and sephiroth can make/have made genesis blush:

- since he admired sephiroth when he was younger, it probably would’ve been a bit easier for sephiroth to make him blush closer to when they first met, primarily whenever sephiroth would give him any form of praise while they trained together

- any time they show genesis any form of soft/sweet innocent intimacy!!! angeal gently kissing genesis on the head, sephiroth lazily holding and cuddling him early in the morning, the occasional moments where they’ll both whisper sweet nothings to genesis, anything along those lines i believe would have genesis as red as his coat

- over time when sephiroth had started opening up more and started trying to show his love and affection towards genesis in any way he knew how, i think it would’ve gotten to genesis, especially the small little things, despite the slight awkwardness in how sephiroth would go about it at first

- he is very used to being the center of attention, but he’s almost always the one that draws the attention to himself, so he can’t handle it when sephiroth and angeal center him themselves, especially when they tease him and get all lovey-dovey about him

- because of angeal’s circumstances growing up, he doesn’t see the value in getting generic expensive gifts, so ever since him and genesis were young he would get genesis small little things here and there, and because genesis was raised basically the opposite in a wealthy family, he absolutely cherished those small gifts! and it evolved as they grew up to angeal giving genesis bigger gifts, but they were things he would work his ass off for! and though he’ll never admit it, the fact that angeal would go through that kind of trouble just for him means the world to him, especially because the gifts are far and few in between

- whenever angeal or sephiroth brings up something genesis likes or has mentioned before, it makes genesis feel so special because it means they actually care enough to listen to him, its something so small but makes him feel so loved

- generally any time they offer any kind of reassurance, praise, or compliment to genesis in a way that makes him feel genuinely loved, cared for, and accepted really!!! i feel like being accepted while being himself in any capacity by the people he loves will never cease to mean everything to him make him feel flustered

- not an instance in which they make him blush, but after they manage to get him to blush: i would just really like to think that if one of them manages to do it while the other isn’t paying attention, they’ll nudge each other or try to silently get each other’s attention so they can point out genesis’ blush! almost in the way people do when a cat does something cute and they wanna show someone else without distracting the cat! and i think that it takes a while for genesis to stop blushing once he starts, so angeal and sephiroth will start teasing him about it, which only makes it worse

silly vaguely easter-y asgzc thoughts:

- genesis has the idea to have him and cloud dress up in those “bunny” costumes (idk what their specifically called but i think everyone knows the ones im talking about) for the others, except genesis has to help cloud out and hype him up because clouds too nervous about letting anyone see him in it. after genesis reassures cloud, they have a mini photoshoot so they can give the pics to their respective boyfriends, and genesis greatly helps cloud’s self esteem the entire time

- they all plan on getting each other little gifts and easter baskets but then they actually all just end up bullying cloud instead and they all get cloud nothing but chocobo themed items

- zack convinces everybody to wear bunny ears, except for poor cloud… he coerces cloud into dressing up as a chocobo chick

- zack makes himself sick off of peeps (the “candy”(?)) meaning he’s also bouncing off the walls hyper all day

- genesis is in charge of hiding eggs for an egg hunt… genesis is an asshole… no one finds a single egg because they are in the most ridiculous places…

- they try to dye eggs… it goes about as (un)well as one would expect:

- zack gets the egg dye absolutely everywhere and on everything

- zack rubs off on cloud so they’re both rainbow colored by the end of the day

- sephiroth keeps accidentally breaking the eggs and ends up needing a lot of help from angeal and genesis

- zack also slips and slides in the aftermath of sephiroth’s broken eggs, causing him to also become covered in eggs… maybe the real dyed eggs were the scrambled ones covering zack’s already dye covered body along the way

- genesis is in a perpetual state of frustration because his eggs aren’t coming out the exact perfect way he wants them too

- angeal makes his eggs very simple and very pretty, but they end up more extravagant than he was going for, so much so that it makes genesis jealous, but its a very “happy accidents” kind of thing

#i actually don’t really know much about easter… im not religious and i didn’t get to experience easter very long as a kid lol #i just know its a lot of bunnies chicks and eggs and gift baskets… i think #happy easter! ah tysm!!! :) i think a few of my (hopefully) softest/happiest genesis headcanons that i haven't already posted would be:

- i feel like he would treat all of the younger/lower rank soldiers as if they were his little siblings! he'll spar with them on occasion and help some of them train, and afterwards he'll tease and jokingly "bully" them in the way an older brother would

- he absolutely adores any form of soft, innocent and sweet intimacy! things like having his hair played with, gently holding hands with the occasional slight squeeze and leaning against his partner, touching foreheads and little kisses, ect. will always make him absolutely melt, as well as make him feel truly safe, comfortable, and loved

- he doesn't show it often, and not many people have seen it aside from the people he's closest to, but whenever he genuinely smiles or laughs, he has the kind of smile that can absolutely light up a room, its just the most pure and contagious joy anyone could ever see

- he loves cute things! he tries to hide it because he finds it a bit embarrassing, but nothing can ever hide the way his eyes just light up whenever he sees anything cute

heres a few of the softest/most domestic headcanons that come to mind:

(mostly asg but there is one zc too)

- genesis has a secret stash of stuffed animals, including his favorite thats a little grey cat he's had for a long time that he calls "sephy", and he refuses to let sephiroth find out about it. only angeal knows about it, and he teases genesis about "sephy" whenever he sees it but he has also promised to keep genesis' secret, partially because they have a deal that if angeal keeps "sephy" a secret, genesis won't tell zack about the time angeal absolutely gushed, and even got emotional about how proud he was of zack when zack got promoted to first (it was angeal's proudest "fatherly" mentor moment)

- the first time cloud brought zack home to meet his mom, he was incredibly nervous about how it would go, and even zack was a little nervous about making a good impression, but as soon as claudia saw them together and saw how zack treated cloud, she instantly loved zack and welcomed zack as a part of the family, treating him like a son and even giving zack her blessing to marry cloud in the future. not to mention that claudia also felt it necessary to start telling zack every single embarrassing moment in cloud's childhood, which zack found absolutely adorable, but poor cloud could only sit there in horror

- before asg went public with their relationship, the three of them, mainly genesis though, would always find ways to sneak small kisses and whisper soft "i love you"s to each other in the minuscule timeframes between their public appearances, which nearly led to them being caught numerous times. and whenever they had public appearances as a group, like interviews and whatnot, they would always do things like link their pinkies together under a table or just out of view of the cameras, or they would "accidentally" brush the back of their hands together, just doing anything they could to be as close as possible in public without being caught

- sometimes angeal will get cold since he's the only one who doesn't have a coat as part of his uniform, so genesis will lend angeal his coat, but not without teasingly "scolding" angeal the way he knows angeal would scold him or sephiroth if they were in the same position, almost as payback for all the times angeal has scolded them over small things

- on rare occasions, sephiroth will be in a very specific clingy mood where he wants nothing more than to just cuddle or be cuddled by genesis and angeal, but he never voices his desires, not really knowing how to. although despite sephiroth never saying anything, genesis and angeal are somehow always able to tell what sephiroth wants, always being able to notice the tiniest of subtle hints and differences in sephiroth's behavior, and they always find it to be the cutest thing ever, and never hesitate to give sephiroth what he wants

Oh, do you have any height hcs? I've seen multiple people agree that Zack is taller than Genesis (reason of him wearing heels) and I do agree but I'd love to hear your thoughts!

i think in order from tallest to shortest it would be: sephiroth, being like freakishly tall -> angeal, being a few inches shorter than seph -> zack, only an inch or two shorter than angeal -> genesis, being a few inches shorter than zack -> cloud, only a couple inches shorter than gen

im also one of those people that thinks genesis is shorter! he definitely always tries to overcompensate for it by wearing heels but i also love to entertain the idea of genesis wearing chunky platform boots for more height! and if he isn’t able to wear heels/platforms, he stacks a few of those heel inserts inside his shoes because he absolutely can not accept being the second shortest of the group under any circumstances! and in photos, he will always pick the spot that makes him look taller if they’re on uneven terrain

but i really like to think zack actually started off being shorter than genesis, like when he first joined soldier, but his last growth spurt ended up making him taller and genesis has never forgiven zack for it (he was also extremely relieved that cloud didn’t go through a similar growth spurt, so he isnt the dead last shortest)

Keeping on with omegaverse au, what do you think their scent is like? Does it change after they mate? Does the mako affect it permanently?

ooh! i actually haven’t thought about scents much!

but what i think each of their scents is:

- genesis: definitely the typical “sweet” type of omega smell, but i don’t think its like a *sweet* sweet, like sugary/honey kind of sweet but more like a cinnamony kind if smell, or possibly a fruity scent

- sephiroth: i think he has an oddly sweet smell for an alpha, like more of a sweet vanilla type of smell that you would expect from an omega, and i think he would also have a bit of a calming scent too, something like lavender

- angeal: i feel like he would have a bit more of a stereotypical “manly” scent, like something woodsy, with maybe a slight hint of a floral smell

- zack: i cant help but imagine his being sort of a beachy scent, like i can’t describe it any other way, the words aren’t coming to me but it is such a specific scent, and i really hope it makes sense, i’m so sorry if it doesn’t

- cloud: the most stereotypical omega ever, his scent is like sickeningly sweet honey

and i think their scents don’t necessarily change when they mate, but i think their scents are typically pretty strong when they aren’t mated, like to attract a potential mate, and after mating their scents become more subtle

as for the mako, if anything i feel like it could possibly make their scents more pungent(?)/stronger, and maybe makes their scents effect the people around them more, but i actually dont think it really changes their scents themselves much, other than possibly giving their scents a bit of a slight mako smell, like an undertone thats distinct to only people with mako exposure

aerti stargazing except since aerith doesn’t like the sky and they can only see the “steel sky” of the plate above them in the slums, tifa just sticks a bunch of those glow in the dark stars to the ceiling of the seventh heaven (with marlene’s help) so they can lay on ground and make up their own “constellations”

i imagine zack would treat the kid in a very big brotherly manner a lot of times, but ultimately i think he would be more like the (wannabe) cool uncle figure! because despite having some big brother mannerisms, i do think he’s actually surprisingly competent and mature around kids! more than just an older brother would be, at least!
