Headcanon that Bunny complained so relentlessly about staying at the palazzo with Henry not because he disliked the rooms, but because he wanted to share a room with Henry. The suggestion of staying at the Grand Hotel was in hopes that they'd end up in a suite with only one room. Bunny just wanted to have a real life "oh no, there's only one bed" moment and I don't think we should shame him for it.

I think a lot of times we as readers forget that Henry was homeschooled his whole life, or at least for the majority of it because he was bed-ridden or smthn during his younger years.

Hampden is probably the first institute he actually is in long-term, and Bunny indeed is the first and closest friend Henry makes. Bunny's simplicity/naivete and amiable charm would make him NUMBER ONE Sun-kissed loser who would melt the walls Henry has built around himself juuuust enough to squeeze himself through them. Bunny is not like the others who come along later in many aspects; yes he's annoying, but hes also real, and arguably the least problematic in practice. In THEORY Bunny's a fucking asshole, but in practice, he doesn't abuse women (charles), doesnt fuck his family (the twins), isnt a fucking killer (richard and henry...richard killed a few ducklings when he was a kid or smthn), and doesnt force himself on people (francis). so yes. even aside from all that he's not deluded like the rest of them are and so on, so forth. He was the link to reality for the group, because he's grounded in it 🤔 like yeah it makes him sort of a loser cuz he cant detach himself from wordly concepts and "ascend" to godhood or whatever but also....it makes him normal <3

Despite what Henry thinks or even despite Bunny's fucking bratty core behavior, he was an anchor for Henry specifically bcs he rlly only bothered with him. And also if Henry didnt enable him he wouldnt have turned into the Brat Zilla he turned into???? why did u fund him u moron
