Québékoisie - gratuit from MÖ FILMS on Vimeo.

Today, 45 years ago, Warner Bros. bought a one-page ad in Variety to proudly “announce the completion of principal photography on Stanley Kubrick’s first film since 2001: a Space Odyssey. A Clockwork Orange is, like all Stanley Kubrick’s films, unique. We believe it will be one of the most important films of 1971.” Release was set for Christmas.
Kubrick started shooting the film on September 7, 1970, and closed production on February 24, 1971. A Clockwork Orange had the shortest shooting schedule of any Kubrick film (out of his first ones). The film opened in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Toronto on December 19, 1971.

Snow White - A Documentary About Winter Cycling
As part of the course Filmmaking at Concordia University, I directed a short film/documentary about bikes during winter in Montreal. The purpose of this project is to stand out as an experimental film on this winter sport still with little media coverage in Quebec. Many are the differences between cycling in winter and summer, starting with cold weather, the equipment used and more difficult conditions. Yet, there are hundreds of people, perhaps thousands, of all ages, riding 365 days of the year through the streets of our city. It is no longer a question of transport or only about a sport; it is for these people a real passion for cycling. This project was supervised by Michael Wees and I’ve been helped by so many cyclists.

Once upon a time, there were three brothers. Their land could not hold all their egos, so they divided their kingdom into three. One ruled over the elves, one over the goblins, and the third over wizards.

Incroyable.
As the parachute opened, he felt the familiar tug upwards. Except instead of a slow descent, he experienced a rapid ascent. The powerful updraft filled his parachute like a sail and rocketed him vertically thousands of feet at a velocity of nearly 100 mph. During his ascent, he could see hail stones forming around him. The lightning was described by him as “blue blades several feet thick” and incredibly close. The thunder was so loud, he could feel it resonating in his chest cavity and remembered this more so than how loud it was. At one point, the lightning lit up his parachute leading him to believe he had died. The rain would pelt him from all directions, and at times was so intense, he had to hold his breath for fear of drowning. But this was only half the agony — the other half being the downdrafts.
