Calypso is done!!!! The head to go with this tail is finished at last!!!
As my first foray into fursuit-making, it was definitely challenging, but super fun and rewarding. Pretty impressed with myself that I finished it at all tbh, the foam base was sitting half-finished in my room for upwards of a year until now... but we got there in the end <3
Everyone gave me really good advice on how to get the ears to stand up but instead I was a fool and just added more hot glue. It sort of worked but I can’t try the head on because I saw a tiny spider on it 😭😭😭
I’m gonna secure them more but I’m glad I got them to at least stick up 🙌🥳
Since this is getting a few notes again, I thought I should add the character whom this lovely tail belongs to, like I did with the Aspen plush! Meet Calypso :)
Proud to announce that I finally finished my first tail! :) I'm working on the rest of a mini partial fursuit to go with this bad boy, but for now, it's a standalone item. It came out a little bigger than I intended, but I'm still really happy with it and excited to make more stuff like this in the future!!
This is my fursona for reference :3 his name is Aspen he is large and silly
Made the feral version of my fursona as a plush!!!!! I'm super happy with him :) he's about 26 inches long from nose to tail tip and he has beans in his paws, belly, and tail. Can't wait to take him on lots of adventures!!
this tail is 3.5 feet long and my first floor dragger! i’m quite proud of it :D
along with the tail today i completed furring the headbase and sewing the edges to the lining! next up is sewing the hood and neck, lining them, and attaching them to the head! with any luck the head will be done in a week or so :D
this is for an upcoming neon worm on a string premade! i’m so excited to keep working on this silly guy
