Today I revisited my old hobby of making flag designs and designed two flags for Sona & Vaylin

Vaylin design:

The red symbolises power, strength + valor and the yellow symbolises wealth. The symbol in the middle is, of course, the canon Vaylin symbol in the series, with the circle representing the supreme lord and the bars representing the four most powerful and wealthy families that surround him.

Sona design:

The blue represents honesty, authority, honour, and power. The white represents peace and unity. And, again, of course, the symbol in the middle is the canon Sonan symbol in the series, AKA the national bird of Sona or the quillven. It represents strength and unity.

I was just going to post these for Faroff Friday, but I figured I should put them on my main account as well.

Actually though, yeah, I half believe there may be some sort of arc in Condessa because of a lot of these issues. Shit obviously won't be perfect, but being in a place that isn't actively trying to make them literally murder each other would give them time to figure shit out. "Figure shit out" including both what to do about the war and their relationship in general.

I don't want to even think about the possibility of him dying. I'm fully prepped for angst, as it would be unrealistic to assume a story like this won't have any, and I honestly do want there to be angst to a degree because I want these character arcs to be handled in the most realistic way possible... I'm a huge fan of the war genre, so I especially want the war to become a bigger problem in their story, and to see the complications and difficulties that come with that... I just don't want anyone to die. I mean, damn, this is definitely the strongest hyperfixation I've had...and Fenn is my favourite character. I just want a happy ending, if that's the least I can hope for.

IT DOES NOT HELP THAT I JUST WATCHED ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT AND IT'S SET IN THE SAME YEAR AS FAROFF, BY THE WAY.

TikTok has convinced so many people that you're autistic or ADHD if you have completely typical experiences like "getting songs stuck in your head" or "having a strong sense of social justice" or "reverently kissing the ice-cold crown of the crow lord". No, you do not need to have autism to squeeze your eyes shut and stand completely still as a living statue to demonstrate your total submission to the crow lord. Plenty of neurotypical people bring him tributes of glass beads, tinfoil strips, roadkill, coins from dead men's pockets, and mice or rabbits fattened weeks in advance. Honestly TikTok has become such a dangerous engine for spreading misinformation. I wouldn't be surprised if they provoke the wrath of the crow lord soon.
