During friendly spars, it's a bit of a coin toss. She certainly surprised people at first, but the Tadfools grown to learn she fights dirty (and she's proud of it).

In an actual fight? If fully prepared, Zhana could take on Gale and Wyll if she can get the drop on them. There’d probably be more difficulty when dealing with Shadowheart and Astarion because of their familiarity with ambush tactics, and of course the question of whether she'd be fighting against a well-fed vampire.

Zero arguments, Karlach and Lae’zel would overpower from sheer brute strength (even in training, in which she's learnt the hard way). Similarly poor chance with Halsin and Jaheira given their experience.

The next WIP batch, continuing with the remainder of the 'main cast'.

This was the easier bunch to figure out for the composition but actually getting onto doing that with the perspectives in mind was a whole different ask in itself (see Karlach's Hellfire Greataxe).

Also I know it's technically Minthara's armour appearance-wise but let's handwave it to say it's the studded variant that was later further adjusted to fit him.

In hindsight, taking your rogue friend (with known klepto-magpie tendencies) out unsupervised wasn't the best of ideas, no matter how well intended.

It was only a matter of seconds that she got loose (13 STR vs 8 STR go figure) and Wyll vowed to take Karlach with him next time.

It legit just started with the first panel with the one-eyed dynamic duo hanging out, based off an oc-ask-thing over here mentioning that they've bonded to the degree that Wyll indulges Zhana with "fancy bullshit". But it devolved into something else entirely with a surprise inclusion of that one Anakin and Padme meme thrown in.

More WIPs, part of the same set with the Lae'zel and Wyll sketches specifically. Bizarrely enough I had more trouble figuring out the pose/details for Gale than I did for Shadowheart (who is in plate armour and with the holy nightlight of blunt of force trauma). And I'm still debating whether to use the Robe of the Weave vs Supreme Defences, the latter's winning cause it looks more stylish (and with less moving parts).

Also a bonus Orin inspired by @si-lantro's comment about the mutilated carapace and lace kebayas. I'm committed to seeing this through (wild and hysterically inaccurate design choices aside), and once I figure out wth is up with the headpiece.

Baldur's March

Over on my Twitter I've been working on this list. I am mostly keeping pace besides missing two day which is cool.

I decided I am going to post some of those prompts on here as well. Almost all of them are rough drafts/Sketches since I am doing most of them day of. And it won't be all of them since I feel they're too "rough" . I can also better explain my though process with some of these since I don't have to fight a character limit.

13 and 17!

13. What is your Tav's main colour palette? Why do they choose those colours?

Mostly dark warm/fall shades, especially browns and olives, because she finds the general colour scheme comforting and unassuming enough if she needs to blend into crowds or make a quick escape. When it comes to armour it's as dark as it could be to make the most of her stealth. Though she occasionally indulges in bright pops of reds/golds/greens every now and then, especially after the end of the main story.

Meta-wise, I've kinda had a bird theme going already, which started with the shrike moniker/title after remembering they were known for impaling their prey (and shoehorned that to her signature "impale with extreme prejudice"). Then after a bit of googling, the colour scheme also fitted well with the red-backed shrike (a nod through the red tips of her hair and war paint).

17. Do they have any enemies outside of the main plot? Any friends?

Zhana's definitely ticked off enough people in her time with varying degrees of being seen as "a nuisance" to "attack on sight". The main one (that she was aware of) was her once-"employer", who kept her around as a personal enforcer by holding her criminal history as blackmail. When Team Tadpole reached the Gate, she was set to hunt him down and kill him. During their confrontation, he revealed that there was more going on with the mercenary company that she once travelled with. The same one that was long presumed dead, with her as the remaining survivor. This starts the conflict of whether to let it go or to tie off those loose ends (and in some ways the ending of her 'personal quest' would be determined by that choice).

She did pick up contacts/friends on both sides of the law after breaking out of prison and starting anew. Special mention goes to the blacksmith-armourer couple whose kept her well-armed over the years and tolerates her demands for custom arrow-heads at random hours.

WIP time (in between workshop sessions).

The sketches are part of a series of solo illustrations I'm planning out - in a similar style to this one I did of Zhana. Got most of the layouts planned out but knowing my indecisiveness, I'm probably gonna waste time fussing through 4-5 alternative poses before defaulting to the one I started with (already guilty of this as we speak).

But real talk, I'm still debating about putting Lae'zel in the Helldusk armour set or Gith armour. Personally I'd feel she'd proudly wear full Gith regalia for the final battle, but playthrough wise, she absolutely tore through fights with the Helldusk gear.

Also is there a 'confirmed/canon' colour for eldritch blast? Asking for a friend.

Okay, hear me out, the bite night scene but make it more comedic/slapstick.

Although 'canonically', he still got elbowed in the face because he didn't expect "the quiet ranger" to be a paranoid, twitchy sleeper. It was only marginally better than the time she headbutted him when they first met at knife point.

But they definitely got along much better later on (and I've just hilariously realized how similar the composition is lmao).
