i spent $120 CAD to ship this from australia to canada cause i wanted to try it so bad. posted this to a vegan fb group and got torn apart because i spent so much on it, so before anyone comes at me for that dont 😂
way better than annies, way better than daiya, and some new people introduced me to a brand “goodles” that is apparently amazing so ill have to try that!
this is way better than any recipe ive made or tried on my own. and damn it i just wanted to try it!
anyways i wanted to share here cause you guys arent crazy and i feel like would be interested

flattened 2 pillsbury biscuits and stuffed with just egg, gardein breakfast patty, and chao cheese. pressed edges down with a fork then rolled up the sides. baked for 12 mins. perfection

vegan tortellini alfredo is my weakness. so so easy to make too. ive made vegan alfredo 50 different ways but the best (and easiest way) is 1/4 cup pasta water, 1/2 container of earth balance (earth island) parm, 2 tbsp vegan butter, pepper and garlic powder. mix it into the hot pasta and in less than a minute it melts together into an amazing sauce. 10/10

been so long since i posted but hello!
made a vegan lemon chik’n dumpling soup with some chzy biscuits after work today 😋
recipe ⬇️
chopped up 4 celery stalks, 1 carrot, 1 leek, 1 medium onion, 2 shallots and 3 cloves of garlic, and sauteed it all til the onions and celery became translucent. added 1.5 knorr vegetable bouillon cubes to 1 cup of water and tossed them both in to dissolve the cube. (skip this step if you like i just find sometimes it dissolves weird)
once the cube was dissolved i added maybe 5 cups of water, 3 bay leaves, 1/2 tsp dried basil, 1/2 tsp dried parsley, 2-3tsp better than bouillon (i like using this plus the cube for depth in flavour) and 3-4tbsp lemon juice.
let it all simmer and once the veggies are tender remove the bay leaves and add 3 pillsbury biscuits cut up into small cubes (mine were about 1cm cubes), and 1/3 cup crumbled soy curls or chicken replacement of your choice. simmer for maybe another 7-8 minutes to fully cook dumplings. add another half or full cup of water depending how much has simmered off. add salt and pepper to taste and more lemon juice if needed. i like to press 2 cloves of raw garlic in at this point too for a stronger garlic flavour as it cooks down a lot.
i used the remaining biscuits and cut them in half and stuffed them with cheese before putting the top back on.
took me about 30 mins and probably cost a total of $10CAD

i think i might migrate my blog to a wix website? would anyone be interested in that? would u still take a look or do u just browse tumblr because u create a dashboard and scroll through it as a social media?
i recently made a website with wix and its just so much more visually pleasing and user friendly and i just feel like i would be more active on there and actually link recipes with what i post and try to produce more content and have fun doing it. tumblr is not very user friendly and themes arent as customizeable as id like them to be
i cant even personally reply to anything you guys say to me because this blog is a secondary linked with an account that was made like a decade ago. if i made a wix i could create a blog and discussion and comments section and do lots of different things, theres even a chat feature
i could even send out newsletters so you didnt miss when new stuff was posted :)
id like to hear if there was any interest!
EDIT: to add it would STRICTLY BE A RECIPE WEBSITE. NOT A BLOG. i hate the mile long essays about the authors childhood cabin at the beginning of their recipe for mac n cheese 😅😅

excuse the ugly photos but i live in this smallish city in british columbia that used to have absolutely zero vegetarian options let alone vegan. we have some of the best vegan choices around now and everywhere has hopped on the plant based train.
this is the impossible burger with vegan cheese and a vegan mayo based burger sauce. the same place also has vegan nacho fries. these options are literally so amazing as usually we have to settle for no cheese option, a shitty dry bun, and no sauce but ketchup or mustard. usually a wack in house veggie burger or a portobello mushroom.
if you’re from abbotsford or vancouver check out BRGR BRGR. you wont be disappointed
