Pspspspspsps hey you
Imagine Wild from LU with a s/o tags just stupidly cold like all the time.
Now- imagine the group happen to be travelling through a snowy area, and s/o is low-key seconds away from passing out, despite being a cocoon of jackets and scarves.
AND NOW- imagine group is attacked, s/o is pushed down a snowy hill and lose some of their jackets and blankets in the fall.
They hit their head and are unconscious, but the snow is still falling so they're slowly being burried.
Cue panicked Wild.
Where are they?
Is that them!
No, just their coat.
Fuck, their coat. Theyre cold.
Cue more panic as he searches the snow for s/o.
He eventually finds them half covered in snow, shivering and pale, lips blue.
Cue: devastation.
Wild is FREAKING OUT! He needs to figure out how to warm them up while also finding the group.
What will he do?
Will s/o survive?
Find out next time...
Whenever you decide you want to take on this request and interpret it how you like. You choose the ending!!!
...
This is my roundabout way of asking for a request with this scenario, please and thank you<3

Chilly Tumbles (Wild x Reader)
Word count:2.2k
Pairing:Wild x reader
CW: Heights, hitting head, blood, mentions of others going without
Notes:Sorry about the long wait, hope it's worth it I really tried hard to make it good. I was really excited about this one too, sat down and wrote it all in one sitting, which is big for me!
The cold can kiss your ass. Honestly, you felt that way most days while you bundled up in layers of clothes most people called excessive, but never have you felt the sentiment of fuck the cold than you did right now as you hiked your way up Hebra mountains alongside the boys. And quite honestly? You felt awkward next to them. Here you were bundled in a sweater, and snowquill trousers you had borrowed from Wild, (Which really meant he had thrust them into your arms, and when you had tried to reject them so he didn’t freeze his ass off he had cut you off with “They’re a spare pair.” and walking away before you could argue any longer.) A scarf, winter hat, A winter jacket from home, and gloves alongside the cold resistence elixir. (How were you still so cold?) Meanwhile, the boys were dividing their resources amongst themselves.
The only one who was remotely close to being as bundled up as you was the sailor, and while the young hero would normally be arguing against being favored over the others he was pretty quiet. He was wrapped in the spare snowquill coat with War’s scarf wrapped around his neck. You had lent him a pair of earmuffs, which he did actually try to argue about but he stopped after you explained it wasn’t about his age. It was because he grew up in a tropical environment. And besides his ear tips were red enough to rival Legend’s tunic. He needed them.
The rest of the boys had downed elixirs and meals and divided gear amongst themselves. Legend had a ring to keep him warm. Hyrule was bundled in the warm doublet. Apparently Wild had been working on grabbing extra clothes every time he popped in his world to help in situations like this.
You were currently bringing up the rear of the group, Only Hyrule and Four lagged behind you. It had just recently started to snow, as well. You wondered if Hylia was above you, laughing as the conditions around you reached whiteout levels. The cold bit at you through your layers. You realized you couldn’t see any of the others anymore. Before you could open your mouth a voice cut through the wind.
“We need to stick close. It’s getting bad out here. Wild is there anywhere we can take shelter until the blizzard blows over?” Time questioned, taking charge. You took his speaking as an opportunity to catch up to the bulk of the group. It seems Four and Hyrule had the same idea so now at least you were all together.
Wild had pulled out his sheikah slate, tapping away. “Nowhere we’d get to before the storm blows over, or without severely backtracking.” He responded after a minute. Time stood, obviously mulling over the choices he had.
“I will say, if we backtrack and come get these monsters another time, there’s still a chance this will happen again.”Wild put his slate back on his belt.
“And we’ve used a lot of resources to get this far..” Warriors remarked. That seemed to be enough for Time to give in and sigh.
“We’ll keep heading towards the peak then. Everyone stick close. Captain stick towards the back and make sure no one falls behind.”
With the decision to continue having been made, You pressed on. You hunched over, trying to stay as warm as possible. You were starting to vibrate with shivers as the temperature just kept dropping. How could the others be so…. Unbothered by this? It baffled you. It seemed like you would have quite some time to let your mind dwell on the question. You guys still had about a day's journey left to get to the supposed group of black-blooded monsters.
Within about an hour the wind had picked up loud enough that you couldn’t hear the crunching of snow. Or the cry of a startled Warriors as he was attacked. The cold and wind however didn’t keep you from feeling an impact to your side. You were caught unaware, launched in a direction. You managed to land on your feet, but there was something else the snow would hide from you it seemed. Where the ground was stable. Your foot slipped and the rocks under your good foot gave out. You would say you were approaching the ground at a rapid rate but quite honestly you had no idea as you tumbled down the side of the cliff. Pain erupted in your right shoulder as you slammed against a rock jutting out from the side of the mountain. You were relieved for a moment when you felt your fall slow, only to just barely have enough time to realize your jacket got caught on another rock. The rock ripped your jacket, leaving you to tumble out of it.
As if that wasn’t enough pain blossomed from your head as you hit it against the mountain. Then nothing.
The silver lynel had blended in with the blizzard. The boys hadn’t seen it till it was right on top of them. The really bizarre part was it was horridly out of its territory. Or at least that’s what Wild kept trying to insist to his teammates between dodging hits. Wind and Hyrule had sustained injuries leaving them out of commission for the fight already. Wild was trying to get enough distance to release some arrows into the damn thing's head. The only issue was that if he got far enough away that the attack would be effective, he wouldn’t be able to see the lynel.
Wild rolled to the side as the lynel took aim toward the skies to shoot arrows into the sky. Legend had (Dangerously And stupidly) Taken this chance to get close and slash the hoof of the beast. Wild bit back an annoyed groan as black oozed out. Well, that explains the abnormal behavior at least. The creature charged, slashing his sword at Wild, but his footing slipped. Wars, Legend, Wild, and Time all spotted the opportunity to attack the lynel, slashing at his back, his chest, and his hooves. Sky stabbed the monster's side and it let out a furious roar, rearing up as the boys scattered again. Wild didn’t like this. Thanks to the blizzard he couldn’t make out his brothers while they fought. One of them could be injured and no one would know. They would just have to hope that one of the others ran by them during the fight. That's how he found out about Wind and Hyrule.
Thinking on that when was the last time he saw Four… or you for that matter? He didn’t have much time to think about that as the lynel breathed fire his way and he had to quickly leap out of range. Yes! That’s the kind of opening he was waiting for! He took a running start and pulled out his paraglider to boost himself up into the air. With his newfound distance, he pulled out a bow and notched an arrow as he took aim. He released the string to fire the arrow right in the lynels head. The beast whipped its head and let out a pained roar, stumbling. Wild watched as his brothers seized the opportunity and ran in to beat the creature up a little more. Well, that answered where Four was. Wild hoped you were just tending to the injured.
Wild watched as the creature swung at Sky, sending him flying. Damn it! He was starting to get desperate. He watched the Lynel stumble from its leg injuries. Wild, who to be fair is known for being reckless, raced for the opening, launching himself on the lynels back. He mounted the lynel, slashing at it repeatedly. His brothers moved in again, using the distraction to their advantage. This time the beast crumpled. It stopped moving, finally dead.
“What in the goddesses' names were you thinking Wild! Do you know how dangerous that was! You could have died!”Twi was marching over.
“I knew what I was doing. I’ve done it tons of times before” Wild remarked.
“Not on a black-blooded Lynel”
“It’s my Hyrule. I knew how to handle it. The fight couldn’t drag on any longer, our elixirs will be wearing off soon.” Wild insisted. Twi seemed like he wanted to continue but Time interrupted.
“It’s already done now. No point in fighting over it. We have injuries to attend to and potions to be handed out.”
Wild nodded. The snow was finally starting to let up. One thing that he noticed incredibly quickly was that you were nowhere to be seen. He started off walking around calling for you, but when he got no response it turned to frenzied running. Still nothing. He ran over to the others. Wild told them he was going to look for you and tossed some cold resistance elixirs their way before leaving to look for you. He didn’t give them a chance to object to his ideas, which they absolutely would have.
It didn’t take long for his search to lead him to the edge of a cliff. Oh no… He could see exactly where you slipped off. He started climbing down. Okay, okay this is fine. He’ll find you. You… you probably just found a cave to stay in.., Yeah! Wild finished climbing down the wall and started wading in the waist-high snow, calling for you. It was honestly really freaking him out that he couldn’t see ANY trace of you in the snow. He kept on walking.
A sudden thought hit Wild. Oh no... Your cold resistance elixir had to have worn off by now. You were probably freezing. He had to find you, and now! Wild perked up when he saw a flash of color in the distance. Ah! There you were! He began to race over, sloshing through the snow and nearly tripping over his own two feet in the process. After reaching his goal (And only face-planting in the snow a single time mind you!) He was all ready to celebrate and wrap you in a hug…. Except... It wasn’t you. It was just your damn coat… Your damn ruined and ripped coat. That you had to be freezing without. Aw for fucks sake! Why can’t things ever go to plan? Or well, Wild isn’t exactly known to plan. Ugh, why can’t things ever go to impulse! Okay, this is fine. Just a person lost on a snowy mountaintop, freezing to death. No pressure here Wild. He took in a deep breath and continued his search, not like there was much else he could do.
Wild kept himself busy scanning over the snow for any signs of you. It was the only thing keeping him from breaking something in frustration. Ah! There! He rushed over when he saw it. A place where something had obviously disturbed the snow. Even the blizzard couldn’t hide it. He made it over and started desperately digging, flinging the snow behind him like a dog digging a hole. The man seemed feral in his desperation. There you are! Lips blue and no longer shivering. But the good news is you were still breathing. Wild let out a sigh of relief. He began to check you over and he quickly noticed, that your head was bleeding. The snow around your head had turned red. There was no way he could take you up to the others, and he had no way to wake you up at the moment later.
Honestly, both were problems he could face later, right now Wild had to find a way to warm you up so you even could wake up. Thankfully he had explored many nooks and crannies in his time here. There was a tiny cave nearby, nowhere near big enough to hold ten people, but it could easily house two people and a fire. He began to carry you that way.
Once you arrived in the cave Wild set you down and began to work on his fire. He kept you a decent distance from it. Warming you up too fast would threaten to put you into shock, and he knew you were deep into the stages of hypothermia. You’d be lucky if you lost nothing to frostbite quite honestly. The next thing he got started on was removing your wet layers to keep you from getting too cold. Of course, letting you warm up would have been easy, and nothing in any Link’s life was ever easy. So while he was trying to help you warm up, the world seemed to rumble.
Wild drew his sword, ready to fight whatever was stupid enough to try to attack him. As he got ready to leave the cave the world grew dark. You were snowed in. There had been an avalanche, and you were nearly dying from hypothermia. And no one knew where you or Wild were…. He sat down with his head in his hand to ponder the situation for a few moments, before moving to lay next to you, pulling you close to his chest to try to warm you up.  In this moment the only thing Wild could think of was how glad he was that there was a hole in the ceiling of the cave so he didn’t have to put out the fire.

A Perfect Outing (Xion x Reader)
Request: So i took super long with the request and my inbox ate it... But it was basically asking for Xion with a GN reader and they live with the rest of the sea salt trio (Plus Isa).
Word count:1.8k
Pairing: Xion x GN reader(Romantic), Isa Lea and Roxas x reader (Platonic)
CW:a little talk about trauma
Notes:Wow, i am terrible at schedules. also unless asked otherwise the reader will always be GN AFAB because I myself am GN AFAB.
The alarm clock clattered unceremoniously to the floor. You groaned, pulling the blankets over your head to take a moment to mentally prepare yourself to get out of bed. It was a daily tradition. Well minus knocking the poor alarm clock to the floor. You really hoped it wasn’t broken. That would suck. Okay, okay enough stalling. If you take too much longer someone will come in to check on you and you have a 50/50 chance they’d be gentle when waking you up. You didn’t feel like having ice cubes shoved down your shirt again. Or yanked out of bed. You dramatically flung your blanket towards the foot of your bed and used the momentum to sit yourself up. You swung your feet over the side of the bed. You stood up and quickly got dressed and headed to go get breakfast.
At the table sat your girlfriend Xion, Lea, and Isa. You and Xion had confessed your feelings for each other last year. At least you weren't the last one awake. Breakfast today seemed to be omelets, hash browns, and gravy. It looked delicious. There was already a plate waiting for you on the table. So you settled into your spot and began to tear into the meal.
“Thank you, Isa, this is delicious!” You smiled at the grumpy adult.
“Hey!” Lea huffed. “How do you know Isa made them? What if I made them?”
“Then the house would be burnt down, wouldn’t it?” Roxas responded, walking over to his spot at the table next to you. His hair was still messed up from his sleep the night before, He still looked tired. And it didn’t surprise you. You had the middle room. Often nights you could hear Roxas up until the odd hours of the night. Or, on the odd occasion he fell asleep before you, you could sometimes hear him sleep talking through the wall. You couldn’t make out what he was saying, but you could guess what his nightmares were about.
Xion would play music when she couldn’t sleep. That’s how you knew she had a bad night. You guess that she thought if she hid the sounds of her breakdowns, then you wouldn’t know. But it was clear when she would emerge from her room, eyes puffy and face streaked with tears that she’d aggressively wiped away.
Isa would isolate on his bad days. There would be days you wouldn’t see him at all. The only one whom Isa would allow to see him was Lea. Lea told us it was because Isa felt guilty for how he treated us back then. Especially Xion. Finally, there was Lea, Lea tried to hide his bad days from us. He would act overly cheerful. Like he was scared to show us he was affected by the organization too. you mean you got it. We all tried to keep our scars hidden from each other. We all had issues from the organization.
You had bad days too. You’d stay in bed on those days. Bundled in blankets, away from the world.
You didn’t call attention to Roxas’s state. No one else did either. “So, I was thinking for our day out, we could go out in town later? Hit the bistro for lunch and maybe hit the movies? Me and Xion could go shopping while you guys do something else?” You recommended, It was a nice day, and that sounded like a fun way to decompress. And it seemed that everyone felt the same way. A chorus of agreements sounded out from around the table.
Roxas grinned. “Don’t think I don't realize you’re stalling our struggle tournament training.” He teased, tossing a light punch on your shoulder.
“Prove it.” You said, sticking your tongue out at him before turning your attention back towards eating your breakfast. Soon you were finished eating and you paused to look at the chore chart. Made by Isa, to make it ‘fair’. It was made all the way back when you had all moved in together. This week was your turn to do the dishes. So you gathered them all and washed them. Finally, you could go out to town and start your day.
Xion walked beside you, matching your steps while you chatted about anything and everything that came to mind. Your hand found its way into hers.
“So, wanna go shopping first? I think Roxas Is gonna hang out with Hayner and his friends. He’s pretty stocked up.” You asked, resting your head against her shoulder. “I could personally use some more tents. Never enough potions.”
Xion took a small moment to think the suggestion over. “Alright. We could also buy some snacks to take to the movies.”
“Shit. You’re a genius” You whispered, grinning widely. “Come on!” you tugged her along
Xion let out a squeak and laughed as you dragged her along to the first few shops. You two stopped in a few different shops. Some sold clothes with you and Xion showing off outfits, (Honestly, you felt Xion could pull off anything she wore. Damn you were down hard). Some sold candy and sweets, which you and Xion excitedly loaded up on for the movies, and for late-night snacking sessions. Others just sold the odd accessories that you and Xion showed off to each other, giggling about the price or absurdity of some of them.
You swung your and Xion's arms happily, humming and skipping. “Alright, ready to head on over to the movies? They should be starting the next one soon.” You asked Xion, resting your head on her shoulder.
“Yeah, sure. I’m sure that’d be a welcome break for our wallets.” She joked, pulling you slightly closer.
“You weren’t complaining when we were buying.” You shot back, moving up to kiss her cheek. You began to lead the way towards the movies. “You think the boys will be there yet?”
“Absolutely no clue. Though I'm guessing by now Isa will be craving an excuse to go somewhere he has an excuse to be quiet. So it’s incredibly possible”
The two of you continued on as a comfortable silence settled over you. Xion had begun to sway your hands back and forth. The sun warmed your backs. It was very peaceful. This was the best kind of day. Everyone was in a good mood and even the weather seemed to cooperate. The little corner the movie screen was hidden in was starting to come into view and you could easily make out the blue and red of your friends' hair. There was no getting lost in a crowd when their hair stood out like beacons amongst the mostly natural tones of twilight town. You and Xion let go of the other's hands and quickly jogged to catch up to the boys, waving to them.
Lea whipped around and grinned. “There they are. Hey Isa, found the two lovebirds!” He announced with a smirk, gesturing towards us.
The title definitely made you blush, and when you glanced at Xion you saw her cheeks sporting a similar red. “What movie are they playing?” You questioned.
“Looks like they’re gearing up for another Adventures of Mickey movie. I overheard them saying it should start in about 3 minutes. Didn’t think you were going to make it.” Roxas answered, head poking out from around the corner. “Come on guys. I already chose our spots.”
So with Roxas’s urging the four of you headed into the movie area. You crammed on a bench together, it was a tight fit but no one complained. The movie wasn’t one you had seen before, so it held the whole group's attention. And if you saw Xion tapping her toes in excitement or Roxas leaning forward in his seat, you’d never tell. Even Isa seemed interested in the movie, in his own ‘I show no emotions’ way. The movie wasn’t the best one you had seen, and it felt rather predictable, but man it was hard not to match the energy in the room.
When the movie finished the theater was filled with the sound of the projector shutting down and groups of people eagerly chatting about what they just watched and plans for after the movie. Your friend group was no different.
“So what was next?”
“Dinner at the bistro” Isa answered, standing up and stretching. A loud pop sounded from his back.
“Old man-” You quickly had to duck to dodge his swipe at you. You stuck your tongue out at him as the group started forward, spilling out of the tiny entrance. You headed towards the Bistro, listening in on the others' conversations. They were all basically talking about the upcoming struggle season. Who they thought would win, new strategies they’d like to try, and trash-talking each other in general. Though you had to try not to laugh at some of the trash talk Roxas was throwing at Isa. As if Roxas didn’t just barely reach Isa’s shoulders.
Nothing really noteworthy happened during dinner. You showed up, waited around for a minute then you were seated. You each ate in relative silence before heading home.
As you plopped on the couch and prepared to get settled in playing a game Roxas came up to you holding a struggle bat. It didn’t take a genius to figure out what he was about to ask you. You stood up and stretched. Sure why not.
Roxas led you to the backyard, trying to be a show-off and toss his bat between his hands. You grinned and shook your head at him. You picked up your struggle bat.
It didn’t take long for you to get into it. You two knew each other incredibly well from your time in the organization. You'd swing at his legs and he’d already be in the air by the time you got near him. He’d aim for your chest and you’d have leapt back by then. You just knew each other's fighting style a little too well. It was a game of endurance at that point.
It took a solid hour and a half of no progress being made in either direction before you slipped up. All it took was an uneven patch of land and you were on your ass with Roxas’s bat smacking you in the shoulder. You yelped in surprise. “Alright, alright I’ll get you back next time.”
“Yeah, well next time better be later, cus it’s getting late” Roxas walked past, ruffling your hair as you rolled your eyes.
“You’re just saying that because you know you only won cus I fell!” You huffed, getting up to follow him inside. Xion was seated on the couch, playing Mario Kart. You plopped next to her.
“Can I play with?” You asked. Xion nodded and got you ready for the next round. You both played, winning some and losing some up until about midnight. Eventually, after a yawn that shook your whole being, you and Xion decided to go to bed. And you fell asleep easily, knowing they’d be waiting for you tomorrow.

You let out a heavy groan as you saw the familiar red tunic. Great, of course, he was coming to bother you. That made perfect sense with the kind of day you had been having. You had burned your breakfast, ripped your favorite set of pajamas, and arrived late to work, soaked because you had lost your umbrella and it was raining cats and dogs outside. So why wouldn’t that prick arrive at your doorstep today? The perfect way to top off your day. Listen you get that he was the hero and tons of people in the village swooned because ‘ who wouldn’t want a man that could protect you.’ or whatever, but they didn’t have the pleasure of interacting with the hero. He was rude, short, snippy, and sarcastic. The one time he had saved you instead of making sure you were okay after a monster attack he had shoved your goods in your arms, calling you an idiot for being out at night. As if he hadn’t also been out at night, the same age as you. Those who wanted to date him and knew him had to be after him for his title you had decided.
“Oh no, we aren’t doing this shit today. Get out.” The words left your mouth the second your inn’s door opened, leaving the boy who had opened the door, who was very notably not Legend, frozen for a moment. He had straight hair and a multi-colored tunic. He was kinda small too, did you just yell at a child. Damn, you felt bad now. “Sorry... Thought you were someone else.” You mumbled quickly, embarrassed.
A one-eyed man walked in, armed to the teeth and his armor catching the light. Dear god if that was the child’s father you were screwed. Thankfully he didn't mention your outburst, just looked around.
“Do you have enough room for nine guests?” He asked after a moment. That’s a lot of guests but… You had ten rooms, four were currently occupied. That’s six rooms, two beds each. Plenty of space.
“Yeah, we got enough for nine guests. Two beds in each room that would be five rooms. How long are you staying?” You asked, writing the information down in your log.
“Just for the night.” The one-eyed intimidating man answered. While you had been talking with him other people who looked vaguely similar to him (And to the single most annoying creature in the world.) had pooled into your lobby. Though you only counted seven people. It was then that you heard it. That annoying, sarcastic, no one can ever get close to me so I must push everyone away and insult them bastard. He’s being dragged in by a man in a blue scarf, complaining the whole way.
“Listen, I’m just saying I’m sure we can make it to the next town before setting up camp.” The twig of a man insisted.
“That’s bullshit and you know it. It’s already sunset and we’d like to sleep in a bed since an inn is right here. Now are you gonna get your head out of your ass or am I going to have to fix that for you”
The cause of all your woes, (Or, at least you’re going to blame him because it’s nice to have something to blame, and his attitude makes it SO easy-), opened his mouth, as if he was about to reply, but you cut him off
“Ah, If the hero is with you, one hundred fifty rupees for the night per room. If it’s coming out of his wallet.” You leaned on the counter, deciding you would go the overly civil route this time since blowing up had almost blown up in your face. “Link, always a pleasure.”
“Bullshit, We both know you charge one hundred per room” Link narrowed his eyes.“Unless it’s you, my dearly hated customer.” You wouldn’t admit that you dearly enjoyed bickering with him. It was always fun, bringing up your mood.“So what, I don’t get a discount for saving your life… Or saving Hyrule?”
“Oh, you do. But it’s quickly wiped out and then some by the ‘just being an asshole’ tax.” you hummed. “But it'll actually be five hundred rupees for the nine of you to stay the night. Will you be staying for breakfast?”
“With your shitty cooking? I’d like to leave here alive, thank you very much.” Link huffed, narrowing his eyes at you. You scribbled that down.
“Alright, I’ll show you to your rooms.” You hummed. You put your hands on the desk and pushed yourself up. This would be good money at least. 500 rupees is 500 rupees. And it’s not like you really had to deal with Legend. He’d be in his room the whole time.
As soon as the boys had been settled into their rooms you decided to head out for a walk. It was a nice warm night, the moon and stars lit the way through the woods. In your arms, you held some leftover food that you planned to feed to some of the wild animals you had befriended over the past few years running the inn. It even kept them from attacking random travelers and they protected you when monsters struck. Now you didn’t need Link’s help. You never wanted to have to rely on that prick's presence again. You can save your own damn self. You had saved up, bought a sword, and taught yourself pretty well you had decided. After all, it had served its purpose.
You set down the food for the animals and drew your sword. It was simple and effective. A one-handed sword. No engravings or fancy handles. You had set up a few homemade training dummies. It helped some travelers and it allowed you to practice your skills. A great addition to your inn. You swung your sword a few times at the dummies before you heard a voice call out from behind you.
“Your form is all wrong, you could be knocked over by a gust of wind”Ah, yes. Just what you wanted to hear today.
“I could still kick you out.” You swung again, not bothering to spare Link a glance. “And I’ve been able to hold myself fine. Thank you very much.”
“Able to hold yourself well till now. Why won’t you take valid criticism that might save your life.” Legend huffed. “Fuck, this is why I hate whenever I have to stay here. You can’t take any fucking criticism. Your stubborn and hard-headed!”
“Oh, and here I thought it was because you were just a prickly bitch who loses years off their life just from having to interact with the public.” You rolled your eyes. “Suck my dick Link.”
“Listen I’m trying to help you genuinely.” Link said after a moment. You assume he was probably trying not to blow up at you. He sounded sincere…
“Okay, Okay. Show me how I should be standing then.” You decided you would let him help you.
Link walked closer to the dummy, quickly taking your place. He began to walk you through it. Explaining how low your body should be, how far apart your legs should be, how to swing your sword and follow through. Now it was your turn. All of this felt off, your feet felt wrong.
“It feels odd.” You complained.
“That’s because you’ve been practicing wrong.” Link responded. You swung at the dummy, and well. It definitely left more of an impact than you had been making before.
“Alright fine, fine you were right”
“Oh, Words I never tire of hearing” He smirked. And there he is again. The annoying ass cocky attitude.
“Alright, I’ll be heading in for the night. Don’t get yourself killed.” He waved goodbye as he walked away.
Okay. Maybe the hero of Legends wasn’t a complete self-centered asshole, doesn’t mean that you had to swoon over him though. He was just a person. An annoying person. The next morning as the boys were filtering out you overheard the conversation of some of your other guests,
Apparently, there were two groups of ‘black-blooded’ monsters. Each about a half day’s travel away in opposite directions. You hoped that they would stay away, you didn’t feel like putting the sword practice into action any time soon.Later that night half of Link’s group came in, beaten and bloodied. But Link was nowhere to be seen.
You began to send them to their rooms, but you couldn’t help but ask where Link was. It took them a moment to think, you’d probably blame exhaustion for that.
“We split up, our group agreed to meet here… They should be here shortly.” Weird face marking guy supplied.
Thankfully it only took an hour before the second group came back. They seemed to be in better shape than the first group. Though the one with a shaggy head of brown hair was unconscious. You lead them to their rooms. Now that everyone was inside you went to follow through with your nightly ritual And partway through Link joined you again. This kept happening frequently for three months.
You had caught several odd conversations between Legend’s group. Apparently, They had been calling Link Legend. You had overheard them talking about a black Lizalfros, how the fact black-blooded monsters kept popping up near the hotel must mean he was near, and about how it was odd they had been around so long. You didn’t really know what to make of it, and it really wasn’t your place, so you ignored it.
You went out to practice your sword skills with Legend. It was his idea. He said it would prepare you better than some idle dummies.
“Ready to go down hero?” you teased, doing a fancy twirl with your sword.
“If only I had 5 rupees for every time I heard that. I’d be rich.”
“And Ravio would manage to drain you of all of it” You grinned. “Come on.”
You didn’t even make it to him. There was an ambush. Damn, you for making the training area so far away. You just didn’t want to disturb the sleeping guests! Monsters surrounded you two. Most of them looked unfamiliar. Legend looked like he wanted to tell you to run, but being totally honest, you couldn’t run even if you had wanted to. There were too many. You had to fight. Thank god for the sword training.
You got into a fighting stance quickly moving to launch yourself towards the monster, thankfully it was slow and clumsy. Your sword struck its flesh as a river of black flooded down. You pulled your sword free and landed with a roll, dodging another monsters club. The injured monster stumbled back, letting out a roar. You shot up, trying to take out the injured monster's leg. Just hoping to drop their numbers by one. You dragged the blade along their calf, jumping away quickly again, just barely keeping their claws from closing around you. Woah your body felt shaky and your brain was in overdrive. And if you were honest, you loved it.You shot up to slice at the monster's face. And this is when it went downhill.
You didn’t dodge the club this time. Pain exploded in your ribs and for a moment you could only see stars. However, you didn’t have the luxury of being able to lie on the ground to recollect yourself. You had to get up right then. And you did, you pulled yourself up. Unfortunately, you had been flung back and thanks to a cliff you were pinned. You didn’t have a lot of room to back up. It seems like while you had been fighting Legend had gotten himself into a similar situation.
One swing from a club and you were both tumbling down a cliff. You felt the air strain against your body as you fell. The absolute weightlessness of everything. Then a pair of arms around you as the ground got closer and you began to tumble along the jagged cliffside. Legend had held you to take the brunt of the fall. You tried to ignore the sickening crack that sounded at the initial contact with the rocks. You tumbled for moments, but to you, it felt like forever.
When you stopped rolling it was pretty dark. When you had rolled along the cliffside it would seem you two had managed to fall and land inside a cave.
A weight lifted as Legend pulled himself off of you and let out a string of curses. You turned to look to see what warranted calling the goddess the term for a female dog. Though you understood quickly after a quick glance. Legend’s leg had been the cause of the cracking sound. It would seem that you were both stuck here until you were found then. The cliff was far too steep for you to climb and the adventurer in this cave had a broken leg.
“We’ll be found in the morning” Legend sounded so sure of it. You could only nod in response.
“I… I’m going to try to find something to make a fire.” You decided after a moment. Yeah. You could use a fire. Legend’s leg needed to be cleaned, And honestly. It was as cold as Farore’s tits here. Legend just nodded along.
You managed to find sticks at least. And a stream of water. But it went back underground and you weren’t sure where or how long until it came back above ground. It wasn’t worth risking your life yet. You brought the sticks back and lit the fire. Legend had brought out a pot that he just had because of course he did. Fucking hoarder. You plopped down beside him while you waited for the water to boil.
“Sword training paid off at least.” You broke the silence.
“Yeah. It did. Good, wasn't that your goal?”
“Well… No, my goal was to make it to where you never needed to save me. And you still helped me during the fall so…”
“Oh.”
“But it’s different now. You weren’t an ass about it so it’s fine” You waved your hand a little.
“I… see.” He said, laying on his back and staring at the roof of the cave for a moment.
“Do you wanna hear a story?” He asked after it had gone silent again. Preferring that to silence I nodded. And with my confirmation, Legend just started talking. About anything from adventures to blacksmithing tips to how to play instruments. Keeping the silence at bay.
“And he just decided to stay at your house?”
“Yep. I was at a loss for words at how bold he was.” Legend sat up. “Who the hell just waltzes into someone's house during a time of crisis and asks to stay there-” he shook his head. “Fuck. I just want to relax.”
“I never realized it was that stressful being the hero. The stories that get back to us always paint you as some sort of stoic hero.”
“Well fuck that. I’m not stoic. I still feel. I feel tired and in pain. Most of the time I’m hungry. And I’ll deny it if you ever tell anyone this but fuck, sometimes I’m even scared. And since I’m the hero, The one who’s been on more adventures than you can coin on one hand I’m apparently supposed to just be over it? What kind of bullshit is that? Seriously you tell anyone I’ll fucking stab you”
“Well yeah I mean it makes sense about how you act now. You just never wanted to drag anyone into this huh?”
“Well yeah I mean We hung around your inn too long and now look at us.”
“I mean. I’m not complaining. I kinda like it here. The cave has good company.” You smiled over at Legend, folding your hands over your stomach and laying beside him. “Company that speculation has it would be very good boyfriend material.”
“No. No instant rejection. Try to ask me in a better way and we’ll talk. Come on, that was shitty even for you.”
“Okay, okay I get the point.” You laughed. “Link. Over the last few months, I realize my feelings for you have changed. We’ve gotten closer. And I genuinely enjoy your company over most people. Would you do me the honor of being my boyfriend.” You asked.
Legend hummed.
“Come on! I just put my heart out for the world to see you prick!” You playfully swatted his arm.Legend smiled.
“Yeah yeah. Yes. I think I’d like that.”
“Yknow I was genuinely pissed when I saw you coming to my inn with your friends?” You admitted. “And goddesses I felt so bad when I yelled at the little boy in your group when he walked in. I thought he was you.”
“Wait… Wind wasn’t the first one to walk in. That was..” Legend began to cackle. A genuine smile, goddess you wouldn’t get over seeing that. “I’m never letting him hear the end of this. That was Four. He’s an adult”
“That was a man?!” You yelled.

Since you write for Kingdom hearts, do you write Twisted Wonderland too?
Ive actually never gotten into twisted wonderland. My best friend is into it but i have this weird thing where if someone i like is into it i get weirdly stubborn and decide i won't get into it outta fear they'll be like 😡😡😡 i was here first!
I know they won't but it's odd. Same thing actually happened with kingdom hearts 😅. Of course may fandoms list may change in the future. I'll do my best to keep it up to date.

Update on fics
Welp, my work has cut  my hours down to 9 hours a week while I’m trying to save for my wedding and honeymoon. I only applied there because they were offering full time. But, while i try to get more hours I guess I’ll try to make the most of this and write some more. I’m currently working on a legend x reader request. I hope it’ll be out real soon. I’m loving how it’s turning out.

Impatience (Aqua x Reader)
Request:would u write an aquaxreader based right after kh 3 please ? (not platonic tho)
Word count: 1.2k
Tw:blood for like 5 seconds?
notes:Sorry for the wait, I had a long week at work this week, and I'll be honest. I haven’t written at all in like 6 years now. I’m really excited to get back to writing though!
You took in a shaky breath as you lowered my keyblade. Was it truly over? Was Xehanort really beaten? Does that mean that you finally get to rest? Finally, after 10 years? Your body ached in ways you hadn't even realized was possible. The battle had been the toughest thing you had ever done. You took a quick glance towards your friends. They all looked as beaten down and tired as you felt. Each and every one of them had fought their hardest. And they all had your respect for that. Especially Roxas, Riku, and Sora. Kairi too. They all had either little or no training, and they fought with ferocity. Like they were desperate to prove themselves. I turned to my other side, glancing at my old friends. Aqua, Terra, and Ven. They had all fought hard too. Aqua and Ven had been on a warpath to reunite our little friend group. You don’t think you had seen your friends that mad since… well ever. Definitely not any time before you had decided to stay in the room with Ven for the last 10 years. It felt absolutely wild to you that 10 years had passed since then.
Wow, maybe the adrenaline was talking but your thoughts were definitely going a mile a minute. And that became painfully obvious when the group broke off, milling about to check over themselves and their friends for any lasting injuries that hadn’t been healed or noticed before. Ventus and Terra were deep in conversation while Aqua started her way over to you. Now this brings on a silly little problem, which honestly after everything you went through kinda feels stupid. You had a big crush on the keyblade master. You had been hopelessly crushing on her since you were teens under Eraqus’s tutelage. You’d been meaning to confess and just get it over with, but it just never felt like the right time. She had either been busy with keyblade training, or she had just… not been alone. And by the light, if you were going to get rejected you definitely did NOT want an audience to your humiliation.
The thing about a near-death experience is that it really puts things into perspective, and makes you realize you may not have time to wait until that elusive perfect moment. Maybe you should just suck it up and confess to her now? You made eye contact with Aqua and immediately felt any blood that had stubbornly stayed in your body during the war immediately rush towards your face. The other thing about a near-death experience is it makes you think crazy and stupid things that you should absolutely NOT do because it could destroy your friendships you quickly decided.
Aqua made it to you within seconds. “(Y/n)..” she muttered, gently putting her hands on your face. Oh god. You could die right here and you’d be happy. “When’d you get this?” Aqua asked. You were suddenly aware of a painful sting on your forehead. Oh. You must have taken a hit in battle and not even realized it. You didn’t even get a chance to answer her before she was casting curaga.
“Thanks. I appreciate it.” You told her. Okay come on (Y/N), you can do this. “Actually Aqua. I uh... Wanted to ask you something.” There, if you throw yourself in the deep end you have no choice but to confess. No chickening out. At least that’s what you want to believe.
“Oh, what would you like to ask?” Aqua asked, pulling her hands back. Her head cocked slightly to the side, making her hair cover her matching eyes slightly. Her gaze held such a softness in it, a stark contrast to the way her eyes had been just an hour ago, narrowed in the desperate analyzing way that battle called for. I was almost tempted to brush the hair out of her face, she’d probably let me. We had been friends for so long.
Friends. Focus. That’s what you were doing! “Aqua, I uh. I’ve been meaning to ask you something for a while now.” You started. You could feel butterflies in your stomach, twisting and turning. Why was this the most nerve-wracking thing you had done today? “Aqua I-”
Another thing about near-death experiences. They tend to bring into perspective how short life is. In other words, they tend to make you impatient. Maybe that’s why you didn’t get to finish that sentence before you were cut off.   “(Y/n), would you like to go out sometime?” Aqua suddenly blurted out. Even she seemed surprised by it. You must have looked incredibly disappointed at losing your chance to ask because she quickly backpedaled. “I’m sorry I just wanted to ask since I came back from the Realm of Darkness and it’s okay if you don’t want to.” she began to ramble “No, no it’s not that it’s just, I got so caught up in preparing to confess, and I was just about to, but then you beat me there!” you threw back your head in a laugh. Aqua’s shoulders quaked as she joined you, laughing yourself to tears. Seems like you weren’t the only one who had been waiting for the perfect moment.
“So I take that as a yes?” Aqua asked as her laughs stilled. She looked at you with such a softness, you immediately felt warm. You put your hands on her cheeks and paused, hesitating.
“I uh… was about to answer with a kiss but, also I realize that might be moving too fast” you admitted, letting out a nervous chuckle.
You didn’t get a verbal answer to your question, as Aqua instead decided to move her head closer. She closed the gap and locked your lips, pulling you as close as she could. Time felt like it had stopped. The two of you were only aware of each other in the moment.
You stood next to Aqua on the beach, laying your head on her shoulder. You grinned as you watched Terra, Roxas, and Riku charge past you. “I put 10 munny on Terra winning.” You said, grinning widely as you glanced at Aqua. Your girlfriend, (God that word sounded amazing. Like it was the perfect word to describe her. It just felt right) shook her head and grinned a little, though she was quick to correct her features.
“You know I don’t gamble,” Aqua said, lightly pushing your head off her shoulder. You stumbled for a minute at the loss of support.
“It’s not like it's a casino,” you mumbled, following her as she walked towards the boys, now at the finish line of their race. Sure enough, Terra had won. From the corner of your eyes, you could also see Ven pull away from playing frisbee with Lea and Isa. Yeah, near-death experiences can make you have stupid and reckless ideas, but maybe, sometimes you get so caught up in your head, so caught up in what might go wrong. That you forget to stop and think about how an idea might go right. Honestly, you wish you had confessed sooner. You stood next to Aqua, slipping your hand into hers. You looked to the side and watched the sunset, feeling completely at peace.
