Tumblr media
Pairing: Ruhn Danaan & AFAB Reader
Prompt: Part 2 of I Think We Both Know That Isn’t True
Word Count: 2.2k
Warnings: Drinking, swearing, angst
Authors Note: Sooooo I got a little carried away and this one could definitely have a part 3 if anyone wanted it! Thank you to those who requested a part 2. And remember my requests are always open.
____________________________________________________________
You sighed, picking your nails as you sat at your desk in the Aux headquarters. It was 4:35pm on a Friday and the clock seemed to be ticking extra slow as you waited for your work week to finish. It had nearly been a week since you had last spoken to Ruhn, you heart cracking for the umpteenth time as the sadness in Ruhn’s eyes as you walked away flashed across your mind. You groaned, resting your head against the cool surface of your desk. You though that loving Ruhn from afar was one of the worst things you could experience but you were wrong. Not having him in your life at all was worse than anything you could have ever imagined. You had decided the night before, tossing and turning sleeplessly as you had been the whole week, that you would be the bigger person, apologise, and hope to the gods that he would want to remain in your life at some capacity.

____________________________________________________________
You sighed, picking your nails as you sat at your desk in the Aux headquarters. It was 4:35pm on a Friday and the clock seemed to be ticking extra slow as you waited for your work week to finish. It had nearly been a week since you had last spoken to Ruhn, you heart cracking for the umpteenth time as the sadness in Ruhn's eyes as you walked away flashed across your mind.
Ruhn hadn’t been into headquarters all day, an incident in The Old Square keeping him and Tristan out of office for the entirety of the day. Declan was working from home, as he usually chose to do, and majority of the Aux had either knocked off early or were out patrolling, which left you at your cubicle alone. As the day has passed, the nerves in your stomach had broiled and bubbled, your heart stuttering and heavy saliva coating your mouth every time the doors opened and closed – only for you to have to calm yourself when you realised it wasn’t him coming through them. You and Ruhn had never fought like this before. There had never been this long of a period between speaking to one another, the only awkwardness between you had stemmed after you had given your body to him. And you had both decided to never do that again – against your deepest wishes.
Your suffering was cut short briefly before it revved back to life again when the doors swung open and Ruhn pushed through them, his mouth set into a hard line and eyes cold. The Starsword was slung across his back and you had to divert your eyes, stomach erupting into butterflies as he brought the bottom of his shirt up to wipe at the sweat on his brow – baring his glorious waist to you. He didn’t even spare a glance towards you as he strode straight towards his rarely used office, slamming the door behind him. The butterflies in your stomach ceased flying, dropping heavily, leaving nausea in their wake. “You can do this,” you whispered, shaking your clammy hands at your sides as you stood. “He’s your best friend,” you grabbed the pile of documents from the corner of your desk, taking tentative steps towards his office on legs seemingly made of jelly. Sure, he didn’t seem like he was in the mood right now but… if you didn’t do it at this very moment, you might never work up the nerve. Like ripping off a Band-Aid right?
You rapped your knuckles on the door, glancing through the square of glass. Ruhn whipped his head around, a frown etching its way onto his face as he took you in. He jerked his head, signalling you to enter. You pushed the door open, plastering a confident smile across your face as if your heart wasn’t thundering in your chest. There was no way he wouldn’t be able to hear it. “Hi,” you huffed nervously. Ruhn’s expression didn’t change – if anything he seemed bored. “Hi,” he muttered, eyes trained on the papers in your hands. “Oh yes,” you huffed nervously. “Just dropping these off,” you waved them a little enthusiastically before placing them on his desk. He nodded, raising an eyebrow, and glancing back at the door. Okay, you thought, now or never. “I was hoping we could talk?” you said, taking a step towards the empty seat on the other side of his desk. He let out a humourless laugh and rubbed a face over his hand. “I’ve had a shit day and this,” he motioned a hand between the two of you. “Is at the bottom of my priority list.” You stood rooted on the spot. Okay so, you didn’t think he would be this standoffish.
“I know I’m sorry. You know me, my timing is always terrible,” you began to laugh but stopped when you realised he wasn’t joining in. “Look I just, I want to say sorry, and I want to talk to you about all of-,” he cut you off with another sobering laugh. “You’re the one who walked away. I didn’t realise you wanted to talk at all.” You wrung your hands together, itching to sprint from the room and never show your face again. But you held strong, standing your ground and smiling in frustration. “I don’t want to lose my friendship with you Ruhn,” you began. “That fight… it was awful. The worst we’ve ever had but. I don’t want to lose you over it. Not having you in my life at all is more painful than anything. More painful than watching you marry someone else. And I won’t have that happen just because of some things we said that we didn’t mean.” His eyes softened at your words, his frown slowly disappearing into that hard line again.
Your stomach flipped. Okay maybe this is a good sign, you thought, just need to nail the apology. “Look, I am really sorry about what I said and I’m going to re-evaluate both of our boundaries from now on,” you nodded. “It isn’t fair for me to act a certain way with you and then cuss you out for treating me accordingly. But same goes for you. If we’re sticking with friends, then… things need to stay friendly.” At this point Ruhn had his chin in his hand nodding thoughtfully. “Yeah… yeah ok. This week has been fucked – to say the least. And I understand where you are coming from and wanting to keep things… friendly,” he nearly choked on the word. “I guess I can forgive you,” he smiled softly in your direction, and you had to tell your heart to slow down before you passed out. “Why not do something for old times sake then? White Raven, tonight?” His eyes sparkled with mischief and you felt yourself grinning back. “Let’s do it.”
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
You nodded your head along to the beat of the music pounding from the speakers below, as you sat on a stool at the upstairs bar, nursing vodka lime soda number…. Shit you’d lost count. You had met Ruhn here after you head headed home to clean up, heat descending from your stomach straight into your panties when you had seen him ascend the stairs to the bar in black jeans and a tight black tshirt. It wasn’t even different to his usual look, but when his scent had invaded your space as he sat on the stool next to you, you had to have a serious chat with your libido and tell it to chill the fuck out. This was a friendship and that’s how things would stay. Hours had past and the more you drank the more you felt yourself relax and begin to shift into the friendship space with Ruhn more. This is a cakewalk, you laughed to yourself. I don’t even know what I’ve been worried about. Friendship is easy. As you and Ruhn chatted more and more, mostly catching up after your week apart, your heart seemed to settle into a comfortable hum inside your chest.
“I just need to go to the bathroom,” he said, standing up. You nodded, hastily pulling your eyes from his backside as he left. You finished off your drink and settled back into your stool contentedly. Suddenly you heard Ruhn’s voice again, turning to send him a smile, thinking he was on his way back. Instead, your eyes landed on him and the Leopard Shifter you had caught making her great escape from the boys house last week. Your blood ran cold as she placed her hand on his upper arm, laughing at something he said. You turned in your seat, skin suddenly on fire, tears rimming your eyes. You focused on your breathing, in, out, in, out, trying desperately to calm yourself before he returned and noticed what was happening. You had nothing against the Shifter, she was free to do what she wanted and she was beautiful and graceful, of course he would stop to speak with her. It had jarred you just how quickly you had been ripped from the friendship bubble you had carefully built and shoved straight into jealousy mode.
Ruhn slid back onto his stool as you blew out a breath of frustration, frantically hoping your tears had been sucked back into your ducts and that you didn’t seem as flustered as you appeared. Your hopes were dashed though when Ruhn’s brow furrowed, his eyes scanning your face. “What’s wrong?” he asked, draining the remainder of his drink. You smiled at him unnervingly. “Nothing!” you said a little too loudly. “I think I’ve had too much,” you laughed pointing at your glass. “I should go.” You gathered your things and began to step off the stool when you teetered and nearly fell entirely, Ruhn grabbing your arm at the last minute. Your skin burned and a sob began to roll up your throat. “I don’t know if you should go alone, why don’t you come back to the house tonight so I know you’re safe.” “No!” you exclaimed, pulling out of his grasp. “No I.. I think I can manage on my own,” you huffed, attempting to flee again. Ruhn rolled his eyes as you walked precariously towards the stairs before he swooped in, taking your hand. You reared back, taking your hand from his. “That’s not what friends do,” you warned him. He held his hands up in surrender. “Ok but friends do make sure friends get to bed safe. Please, just come with me. You can have the bed, I’ll take the floor.” His eyes bore into yours and you felt any fight you had in you melt away. “Fine.”
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Ruhn pushed open the door of his room before letting you enter. He had cleaned since you had last been here, it smelling more strongly of his cologne and musk than beer and mirthroot. You sighed, sitting on the edge of the bed. You were still anxious, and the uncomfortable knot in your chest continued to grow as you watched Ruhn grab a shirt for you from his closet, turning towards the door as you got dressed. You stripped to your underwear and pulled the shirt on, sliding under the covers and breathing in the scent of his pillows. “Can I turn the light off?” he asked, his voice husky as he kept it low. “Mhmm,” you replied. The room was plunged into darkness and slowly your eyes adjusted to the moonlight seeping in through the window. You watched him remove his shirt and jeans, your pulse jolting as he moved towards the bed.
He went to drag a pillow from the bed to the ground but you grabbed his wrist. “What are you doing?” he asked. “Stay,” you mumbled, at war with your own heart. “In the bed. Please.” Ruhn only complied, lying down next to you. “This isn’t what friends do,” he reminded you. You nodded. “Maybe. But maybe these friends do.” He hummed, his hand finding yours in the dark. “Are you going to tell me what really happened at the club or not?” his question echoed in the dark. You swallowed thickly, the remaining alcohol in your system apparently making your brain and mouth work in reverse. “I was jealous,” you admitted, skin aflame. “I didn’t want to be but I was. And I don’t know how I’m supposed to get over it because…” you inhaled sharply, pleading with your brain to shut your mouth and quickly. “I’m in love with you Ruhn.” You statement hung in the air uncomfortably. Ruhn didn’t say anything and for a moment you hoped he had fallen asleep before your confession was laid out.
But no such luck. “You are incredibly confusing, my little warrior,” he breathed out. Tears filled your eyes again and you sat up, regret and embarrassment tumbling in your stomach. You started to get out of bed when Ruhn pulled you into him, resting your head on his chest, his heart thundering beneath his warm skin. “I’ve loved you since we were 12. My heart, it only beats for you. It’s what I’ve always tried to tell you. But I don’t think this is how we should be having this conversation right now,” he sighed, running a course hand softly down the side of your face. You screwed your eyes shut, pressing your face against the warm skin of his neck. “We can’t do this,” you mumbled against him. He only held you tighter, pressing his lips against your forehead. “Get some sleep sweetheart,” he murmured. “We will get to the bottom of this in the morning,” his raspy voice sending goosebumps across your skin. “Even if I have to tie you to this bed.”

Update: I’m Back & Changes in Who I Write For
Hi everyone, so I’ve been MIA for a while but I’m back and excited to get back into writing. My schedule is a little hectic so I will write when I am able to but I’m still excited to get some more work out there.
So I have made some changes in regards to who I’m writing for now as my interests have changed the past couple of months. I still write for ACOTAR (Cassian, Az & Lucien) and Crescent City (Ruhn & Ithan) but I no longer write for The Hobbit or the MCU. I do however want to start writing for Eddie & Steve from Stranger Things so if you have a request send it my way!
I hope you’re all having a great day!

Hey! Just wanted to say I love your works and really appreciate you putting them out there - I learned it really takes guts to put your own stuff out there. <3
Anyways, if you ever get the chance, could you do something with Ithan?
Like an Ithan x Quinlan sister reader that takes place when they are all in Cresent City University and the reader just moved into her dorm and she’s like a cheerleader at one of his games or smthn like that - he develops a major crush on her and the pack of devils teases him for it !!
I literally tried to make it myself and couldn’t get pass any cringe, but I love the idea so hoping you can!
Tysm!! 💫
Hey there!
Thank you so much! So sorry for the late reply on this one. But yes I will make a note and will try to get this one written and uploaded for you later.
Thanks so so much for your kind words!

I Think We Both Know That Isn’t True (Ruhn Danaan x AFAB Reader)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Ruhn Danaan & AFAB Reader
Prompt: (Self prompt)
Word Count: 1.7k
Warnings: Drinking, smoking (drugs), sex, swearing, angst
Authors Note: Sorry this is a little rusty I’ve been very slack with writing and just wanting to make myself jump into the deep end with it again. Also this was meant to have a happy ending but it just went... all angsty lol. Let me know if you would like a part 2 which I would attempt a happy ending with.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You swung the doors to the boy’s house open, squinting as your eyes adjusted to the darkness of the place. The stench of stale beer and mirthroot hit you, instantly causing your eyes to water. Huffing you moved about the trashed common room, flinging cushions back onto the couches, throwing open curtains to let some light into the room. Stalking to the kitchen you grabbed a rubbish bag from the counter before returning to the room and began picking up discarded bottles and cigarette butts, emptying ash trays. Suddenly you heard a cough from the stairs. Turning you saw a Leopard Shifter teetering on the steps, her hair a mess and heels in her hands.
You waved and shrugged. “Hey, don’t mind me,” you mumbled, continuing on your scavenger hunt for trash, hoping you might find an untouched bottle of liquor in the mess. “The guys aren’t usually the type to have an early start though, so I’d head out if you wanted breakfast.” She smiled bashfully, hopping down the stairs gracefully and out the door. You dragged the bag out of the house, tossing it into the empty bin before walking back inside. Tristan sat on the lounge, legs spread, Malana perched on his shoulder as he took a long sip from a bottle of water. “I don’t remember Ruhn taking you on as housekeeper,” he teased, winking at you. You felt your skin warm as you scowled at him, slipping off your shoe and throwing it at him.
He caught it with ease and laughed, tossing it lightly back to you. You caught it and put it back on. “I need to speak to him, is he here?” Tristan grinned lopsidedly at you. “Of course, he is, probably waited up for you all night…” he rolled his eyes. You huffed a laugh. “Yeah well judging by the shifter I just witnessed sneaking out, I don’t think I’m the reason he was up all night,” you forced a laugh, ignoring the clench in your chest. You walked to the stairs as Tristan snorted a laugh, your heart tightening again. “This was for the best,” you thought as you made your way up to Ruhn’s room. “We both decided this was how our relationship was meant to be. Friends. Friends don’t get jealous of casual sex.”
You repeated the lie in your head as you moved towards his door. You considered knocking but instead slowly pressed the door open, praying to Solas he hadn’t decided to have a threesome last night. Ruhn was sprawled out on his bed, arm thrown above his head, mouth open, light snores coming from him. The sheet was slung across his hips but thankfully you could make out that he at least had briefs on. His torso was lit up by the streak of sunlight that perforated through the window, highlighting his bare skin, the piercings through his nipples glinting in the light. It didn’t smell much better in here than downstairs, but you didn’t mind. You could hardly even register any other senses when your eyes were so kindly treated to the feast laid out in front of you.
Shaking your head, you moved slowly to the bed. As softly as you could you laid yourself on the mattress, rolling onto your side as you watched him sleep. Okay so friends didn’t get jealous over casual sex, and friends also probably didn’t do… whatever this was but it was different. Ruhn had been in your life since you were kids. You had grown up together, you had been there for him every time he had been at the hands of his father’s wrath, you had comforted him after the trials of his Ordeal. You were the first person he had told about Bryce being his sister, and not his cousin. And he had been your first… in so many ways. First crush, first kiss, the first person to make you do a keg stand, the person who helped you through your first mirthroot high, when you got the chills and were convinced you were going to pass out. And he was the first male you ever lay with. So, this kind of behaviour wasn’t foreign in your friendship.
But he was also your boss at the AUX. And now engaged to be married to the Queen of the Valbaran Witches so… whatever you wished this was, it just couldn’t be. “Staring is incredibly rude you know,” Ruhn mumbled, pulling you from your thoughts. You felt yourself warm, rolling your eyes to hide the little seed of embarrassment growing in your stomach. “It’s also incredibly rude to not see your sexual partners out the door in the morning. And here I was, thinking you were a gentleman,” you countered. Ruhn cracked an eye and smiled at you. You heart flipped in your ribcage so violently you were sure he could have heard it. “I don’t know what you’re talking about, my little warrior,” he uttered, letting his hand reach across the bed to run down the bare strip of skin that peeked out between your top and pants.
You shuddered under his touch, and the nickname that rolled off his tongue. He had called you that since you were twelve and you had smacked Tristan over the back with a stick when he and Ruhn were play wrestling, claiming that you were saving Ruhn. You pushed his hand off you, rolling your eyes. “That pretty shifter who I saw this morning,” you remarked. “She looked a bit sad that she wasn’t getting a full B&B service.” Ruhn lifted his head, eyeing you warily. “Okay,” he laughed. “Now I really don’t know what you’re talking about.” You laughed and smacked his bare arm. “I didn’t pick you as someone who forgot about who they slept with the night before so easily,” you blurted. His face became serious, scanning your eyes. You suddenly felt bare and looked away from him.
“I didn’t sleep with anyone last night,” he emitted, gently grabbing your chin and turning you to face him. You met his eyes and were confused that you didn’t see a hint of humour or lying there. Only honesty. You breathed a laugh again, rolling your eyes. “I think were old enough now that we don’t have to lie to each other about these things you kn-“ your breath puffed out of you as Ruhn pulled you tight against him. “I’m telling you little warrior,” he pressed his forehead against yours as all oxygen left your lungs. “I didn’t. That girl must have been with one of the other guys.” You laughed nervously, trying to push him off you. “Ruhn, you have to let me go,” you struggled, pushing him with the strength you could muster. Which wasn’t much considering you were loving this, despite how wrong you knew it was.
“But I know how much you love my hugs,” he teased, pressing his forehead against your exposed collarbone. “Not when you stink like beer and sweat,” you countered, finally getting free from him. Your heart finally started to slow a little as you calmed your breathing. “I’m serious though, I wasn’t with anyone last night,” he persisted, sitting up and leaning against the head board. You nodded pursing your lips. “Ok,” you sighed, running a hand down your face. “You know I wouldn’t care though right?” you smiled, hoping you were convincing enough. Apparently, you weren’t. Ruhn’s mouth quirked up at the side, his eyes sad. “I think we both know that isn’t true,” he whispered. You felt your smile drop, suddenly looking away from him again.
“It wouldn’t matter if I did,” you uttered around the lump forming in your throat. Ruhns hand slowly pressed against your arm, gripping gently, urging you to turn to him. “You know it matters to me,” he said. “You know what I want, how I feel. You know I want yo-“ “But you can’t,” you interjected, standing abruptly and facing him. Suddenly your blood had turned hot, anger coming out to douse the sadness and heartbreak that had appeared at Ruhn’s words. “You can’t have what you want Ruhn, it doesn’t work that way. I know you’re content doing your own thing even though you’re engaged to a.. a.. Queen of all people, but I don’t want to be apart of that and I think… you need to respect my wishes. And right now I wish you had a shirt on,” you huffed, your chest rising as falling as quickly as the words came out of your mouth.
Ruhn sat on the bed his mouth agape at your sudden outburst. You felt the tears start to well, and it hit you that probably everyone in the house had heard your outburst. “Then what are you doing here?” he asked, his face suddenly becoming a mask of disinterest. You fumbled for a moment, not even knowing how to answer him. “I just.. wanted to come see you I guess and thought maybe we could go hangout downtown but maybe…” you trailed off, pressing your nails into your palms. “Maybe that’s not such a good idea,” he spat, seemingly finishing your sentence for you. “What no? I don’t think that it’s just-“ “It’s just what?” he ground out, throwing back the covers and stalking to his wardrobe. He pulled out a black shirt and black jeans as he continued. “You come over, climb into bed with me, and then suddenly you decide that you can’t do this?” He laughed wickedly, the sound jolting through you.
“I think you should leave,” he suggested, throwing his hair into a bun. Oxygen escaped you again. You wanted to fight, you wanted to push back. To have the chance to explain to him why you needed things to change, why you couldn’t go through with it even though your very soul ached with the need for his love. But you couldn’t. It felt as though every fighting atom had checked out for the day, already considering this a loss. You drew breath again and nodded, turning and leaving before he could see you cry. You traipsed down the steps again, your stomach sinking lower and lower, so quickly you were sure it was going to fall out of your ass. When you hit the last step, arms wound around you, spinning you around, into Ruhn’s chest. “I’m sorry,” he mumbled into your hair.  You let the tears slip onto his shirt as you shook your head. “I need to leave,” you whispered, and slowly you pulled yourself away from the man you loved, crying harder when you realised, he wasn’t going to chase after you this time.

Starfall (Cassian ACOTAR x AFAB Reader)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Cassian & AFAB Reader
Prompt: (Self prompt) Back of the hand kiss
Word Count: 1k
Warnings: Attacks, death, raids, sexual innuendos, drinking
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You bopped your head side to side, closing your eyes as the music thumped through you. It was Starfall and you were at the House of Wind, dancing with your friends as you drank and laughed, forgetting for the first time in months about the attack on Velaris from the forces of Hybern. Your store in the Palace of Thread and Jewels had been ransacked and one of your employees had died defending it. The weeks after that had been distressing to say the least, and you still hadn't been able to reopen the shop. So when a black invitation arrived in your letter box inviting you to the Starfall party at the House of Wind you flew out the door to find an outfit, desperate for the distraction and the chance to unwind.
Now, you moved your body along to the beat, smiling as you danced among the throng of bodies enjoying the party on the balcony. "Oh my god," you friend yelled over the music, leaning closer to your ear. "Cassian is full on staring at you!" They squealed, standing on their toes to get a better look. You rolled your eyes and scoffed. "He is not!" You turned your head in the direction they were looking, only to lock eyes with the male mentioned. You didn't know the General, but had seen him with the rest of the Inner Circle at Rita's many times. He was ridiculously good looking and seemed incredibly fun, but you never really saw him outside of there and never wanted to interrupt his and his friends nights out.
He grinned at you happily, raising his glass before turning back to speak with his High Lady. You shook your head turning back to your friend. "He was definitely looking at someone else," you shrugged, playing with the sleeve of your dress. It was your friends turn to roll their eyes now. "Oh please," they tipped their head to the side. "Have you seen yourself tonight? Ravishing is an understatement." You felt your face warm, turning your head again quickly towards Cassian. He was staring again, tapping his foot in time to the beat and smiling broadly. Your heartbeat quickened and suddenly he tipped his head, signalling for you to come over to him.
Your mouth dropped open as you pointed to your chest mouthing "Me? He threw his head back in laughter and nodded, waving his arm to beckon you. You turned back to your friend who was sporting a feral grin. "You better get over there, or I will," they tossed their head around as they continued to dance. You laughed before turning to walk to Cassian, but he was no longer there. You stepped out of the mass of party goers, peering into the house. Suddenly a warm hand rested on the small of your back as someone whispered into your ear, "finally." You jumped, hand over your heart as you turned to the General. He laughed again, a mighty sound coming from his chest. "I'm sorry sweetheart," he closed his hand slightly, gently gripping onto the back of your dress.
You smiled and glanced at your feet. "Do you want a drink?" he asked, tucking strand of his dark hair behind his ear. "Yes please that would be great," you answered. He dug his hand into your dress further, guiding you into the house towards a table of drinks. He quickly poured you one, shoving the cup into your hands. "Drink up," he smirked as you put the cup to your lips. He leant forward pressing his lips to the shell of your ear to whisper. "You're gonna need it for the night I have planned for you." You inhaled sharply, forgetting you had liquid in your mouth as you began coughing violently. Cassian laughed again, and patted you on the back not so lightly. "I'm sorry," he pretended to wipe tears from his eyes. "I couldn't help it." You regained your breath as you elbowed him in the ribs.
"You can't just say things like that Cassian, you don't even know me!" You spluttered, wiping at your dress where some liquid has spilled. Suddenly Cassian stilled, his face growing serious. You paused, frowning at him. "What's wrong?" you ask. "I know you own a clothing store. I know you were raided in the attack. I know you lost an employee, and I bet that's why you haven't reopened. Because it hurts too much to walk inside." You swallowed thickly as he spoke. "I know you order the summer wine at Rita's even during winter because it keeps you warm. I know what songs make you dance the most carefree." He ran a hand up your arm, resting it on your shoulder. "I've stopped by, you know. Your store." Your eyes widened. "But it's been closed. I understand why but, I've just had this need to… know you. Ever since the first time I saw you at Rita's."
You scoffed. "Well it sounds like you know a great deal about me already," you say, quirking at brow at him. He chuckles softly, running his hand down your arm until your hand is in his. "The only thing I don't know is your name," he smiled. "Y/N" you answer, squeezing his hand softly. He brings your hand to his mouth, kissing the back of it gently. "Y/N", he whispers against your skin, as if saying your name too loudly would make you disappear. "Will you dance with me?" he asks, tugging you gently back towards the veranda. You smile and nod. "I would love that." He smiles again as you walk together. "Thank the Old Gods I finally know," he sighs as he twirls you into the crowd. "Know what?" you asked as you rest your hands on his shoulders. "The name I'm going to be moaning again and again later tonight." You shriek and smack his arm. He laughs as he spins you again. "Just kidding, sweet Y/N."

having to undress your love interest to be able to tend to their wounds, trying your best not to stare at their bare-chest
being pushed to the ground/wall with your hands pinned down
sexual tension when tending to someone's wound
“I didn’t know where else to go”
fake dating (it was real all along)
confessing your feelings to someone you think are asleep
“it’s not like I’ll ever see [that person again]” while said person's standing behind them, suitcase in hand, about to reveal they’re moving back into town
''make me''
a character claiming they’re not going to do ~the thing~ but in the next frame is seen ~doing the thing~
“nothing is ever going to happen between us!”
two strangers bumping into each other on the street, instant attraction (not love. attraction! think instant case of god you’re hot)
during a stressful situation, a character can be seen running back into their house ‘’forgot my keys’’ *runs back out* *runs back in* ‘’forgot my wallet’’
the italicized “oh”
“what is it that you don’t get? i’m not attracted to [this person]!” cut to scene of the person in question staring longing at the object of their desire
going to sleep on different sides of the bed but waking up entangled
going to sleep in different beds but sneaking into the other's to snuggle
forehead kisses but it's the male being kissed on the forehead
dancing together, one of them takes the other’s hand, kisses it
''what you're doing right now is really stupid but you're so cute i can't help but laugh at it''
''let's kiss just to see what it's like''
when someone's like… i don’t know… hurt or something… and the other person's like… tending to their wounds… and then just… wrap their lover their arms, thankful they’re alive
when a character is taken hostage by the antagonist, and their lover goes absolutely ballistic, doing everything in their power to protect their lover, and the antagonist has to restrain them, but it doesn't stop this character from trying to get to their lover, doesn’t matter what happens to them, doesn’t matter if they get beaten as long as their lover's safe
