hello! i hope it's okay to ask this but may i know why you're shifting over to ko-fi? i quite liked purchasing your stuff off payhip but just curious! thanks for your work! <3

Hello! No problem at all! I also really like Payhip for its features, but actually Ko-fi offers me a few others that is more advantageous for me, such as Ko-fi Gold, which exempts me from paying commission and partner fees to the store for 6 dollars a month. I could only have this in Payhip if I paid $99 a month.

If I'm being honest, after doing some research, I'm not quite 100% sure if I really want to switch my content. Before moving to Ko-fi, I was considering selling on Payhip and creating tiers on Patreon, or only using Patreon (although it is pretty much the same as Ko-fi). But so far, my plan is to keep only Ko-fi as my store.

If you tell me what you like the most about Payhip, I may try to do something similar on Ko-fi! ; it won't be a problem for me at all. Remember also that products purchased on Payhip will still be available for download since I won't be shutting down the store.

Ever since I opened commissions and stopped focusing on my DA activity, I've been more active on Tumblr and consequently realised I may have to organise things around here more properly, even though I don't how to use the website that well. So here is a few things you can expect to happen in the next few days (or months. I can't actually promise some of these things)!

I'm not sure what "resume" would be, but my Google Docs services include:

Edit my own Google Docs for you (changing colors, texts, images, etc.);

Create a new and original Google Docs according entirely to your ideas;

(As long as it's free and/or the creator themself allow me to do so) I can edit other's creator's Google Docs layouts according to your ideas;

Commissioned Google Docs sometimes can come with exclusive content such as templates, PSD colorings and PNGs.

why is it every like three months creators have to get on here and remind y’all that it is perfectly reasonable (not to mention fully within our right) to charge for content we create ?

a reminder

creators are not obligated to cater to your budget.

content is worth what people are willing to spend.

it is absolutely fine if you can’t afford something, but that is not an excuse to be disrespectful toward creators / artists for charging what they are worth.

there is another person on the other side of the screen who has spent their time and resources creating these things for people, be it hours or days or weeks. they are fully within their right to charge for their time and skill.

I somewhat have a mood/idea board and examples of layouts that I would want in mines (The examples solely come from all docs that you have created I just pulled different aspects of it if that makes sense?)..But uhm I wanted to know if it would be a bit cheaper considering that I'm using layout(s) from older templates you made

Depending on the service you want me to do, I'll consider it as " editing my own google docs service", which is significantly cheaper than the "original documents" service — you can check prices in the docs commission info document.

But I can't say for sure since, even though you want me to use former layouts elements, I still have to recreate everything from the scratch and rearrange to create a new original layout.

Free Palestine - ceasefire now!

There is currently a strike for Palestine taking place from February 18th, 2024, to February 25th, 2024. During this time, I will only be posting about Palestine on this account and doing what I can to spread awareness. If you are able, I highly recommend participating in the strike in whatever way you are able - something is always better than nothing. Staying home from work and/or school, not buying anything that isn't strictly necessary, using your social media platforms only to boost posts about Palestine, etc., are all ways to help the efforts!

Bom, tentando ser muito breve na explicação do que voce está me pedindo (senão eu vou acabar discorrendo o assunto por umas três páginas), a parte interpretativa do RPBR (a comunidade do Twitter que você citou) geralmente se reúne no que chamamos de writer accounts (WAs), infelizmente popularizada no RPBR pelo nosso querido GRANDSILIATO.

Desde a pandemia, os players criaram as WAs para terem mais contato em off e criar jogos mais organizados, já que, com o lockdown, ninguém tinha absolutamente nada para fazer, zilhões de personagens e bases (como chamamos as cmms do Twitter) eram criados por segundo e às vezes era puxado não ter contato em ooc, já que quase nunca saíamos do personagem e era desorganizado conversar no mesmo chat em que turnávamos. Com o tempo, as WAs tornaram-se o principal meio de encontrar plots, encontrar pessoas interpretativas para interagir, combinar conexões, divulgar assuntos variados, postar sobre personagens, entre outros.

Por motivos que eu vou explicar mais abaixo, a esmagadora maioria de jogos acontecendo no Twitter interpretativo atualmente acontecem através de bases (plots organizados, como cmms), ou squads (grupo de personagens aleatórios com plots diferentes, construindo a própria história, mas com algo em comum, como a ambientação) — e talvez seja por isso que você tem a impressão de que todos estão isolados em seus próprios grupos de amigos. Bem, você não está errade. De qualquer forma, ter uma writer account e seguir outros players a maneira mais fácil para encontrar e interagir com outros jogos.

Atualmente eu não estou presente nas WAs por motivos de que muitas pessoas questionáveis se misturam nessa gente, então prefiro manter distância. Mas também foi lá que encontrei vários dos meus melhores amigos atualmente.

Como disse ali em cima que ia explicar: a maior parte das pessoas se concentram em bases, squads e nos próprios grupos de amigos porque, em algum ponto do RPBR, às pessoas simplesmente impopularizaram interações livres na timeline. Antes das WAs, interagir aleatoriamente na timeline com personagens que você seguia e sequer conhecia o ooc era a única forma de conhecer novos players e criar conexões. Em algum momento no final da pandemia, se tornou menos comum a criação de personagens independentes na timeline, fazendo com que apenas tivessem esses em nichos específicos (como entre personagens da Marvel, da DC, de animes, etc). Assim como bases começaram a "flopar" mais rápido (por falta de esforço dos próprios players às vezes) e então players preferem jogar só com os próprios amigos, que confiam que vão fazer o plot durar. Não vou nem entrar no mérito de pessoas criminosamente questionáveis que alguns preferem não correr o risco de encontrar.

Foi pelos motivos acima, inclusive, que eu comecei a preferir jogar em cmms do Tumblr ao invés do Twitter, apesar de que durou pouco.

Squad real life/slice of life que foca em personagens da elite de Nova Iorque. Eles têm muito uma pegada de Gossip Girl, é bem movimentado, tenho amigos que estão/estiveram por lá e acham bastante divertido. Eles interagem bastante na timeline e na DM, mesmo com quem não faz parte do squad.

NORTHERN MASSACRE

Base slasher e terror concentrado na DM, cujo dono é meu melhor amigo. Está ativo atualmente, eles estão com a narrativa ativa e têm uma história que todos os personagens devem seguir além daquela pessoal deles. Às vezes interagem na timeline. Eu estou lá!

PENDRAGON ACADEMY

Base de fantasia sobre legados de contos de fadas. Eles são ativos tanto na DM quanto na timeline, todos os personagens são incentivados a criar suas próprias narrativas individuais além de seguir a narrativa principal da base.

  Peço também que mantenha em mente que, apesar de meus conteúdos parecerem feitos "para um tipo de RPG específico", mas cabe a você decidir como usá-los. Eu não tinha costume de criar Google Docs com narrativas das minhas personagens até o RPBR me influenciar, assim como o RPBR não tinha o costume de usar layouts de Doc até que eu comecei a disponibilizar. Os templates de icon mais trabalhados fui eu e mais uma galera começamos a popularizar! Tudo é questão de criar trends!
