i've had no internet at home these past couple of days, but i just came here to say this.

The current state that Valve leaves TF2 in is unacceptable. It's not the lack of updates, it's not the unbalanced weapons or low-quality workshop submissions, it's the bots. It is unacceptable that Valve, a company who makes millions of dollars of profit off of Steam alone each year, has let TF2 sit and rot in such a neglected state. Nearly every server I join is filled with Sniper spinbots who instantly kill every player on the enemy team, while spamming offensive and repulsive stuff in chat, and across voice chat. I love TF2, and even though i'm late to the party, I still care about it just as much as everyone else. Even for how old this game is, it is not okay that Valve has done next to nothing to try and fix this. They should be held responsible until they hold the bot hosters responsible. They need to fix this.

They need to Fix TF2.

TF2 has been one of my favorite games for so long, and I was introduced to it by playing with my brother and his friends. The culture and fan base is so expansive, I can make a reference to Meet The Spy with a group that hasn't played the game and they will get it. It's been one of my comfort games for so long, with certain types of game loops allowing me to turn off my brain and just react to the game.

The bots make everything so much worse. The most recent time I played, my match was taken over and nearly all the players were voted out. I left out of frustration and matchmaked again- in that game, only 5 bots were in it. I stepped outside spawn and instantly died, and then was immediately voted out of the game. This was a few months ago, November if I remember right, and I haven't played since, waiting for the bot crisis to "pass over". But it won't, not unless we make a stand and get Valve to listen to us.

I have had so many good memories with this game and it's fanbase, and it pains me to see something that's brought me so much happiness in such a short time be abandoned and left to die. As much as I (and everyone else) would like new content, maps, weapons, and the final comic, the bot crisis needs to be resolved- if Valve did this, I know I would be happy, and perhaps buy the contract I had been planning to for such a long time.

Team Fortress 2 is an amazing game I hope never dies. For the last few years though, it seems that valve has completely ignored it in hopes that its glaring issues would eventually kill it for them. Currently, the game is nearly unplayable. Over half of all players on Team Fortress 2 are bots. It’s nearly impossible to play a casual game without instantly being killed by a sniper bot. If you have the time, please sign the petition at save.tf it’s a long shot but only good can come from trying.

I started playing tf2 a couple a years ago, the first match i ever played, was filled with bots, that was almost 3 years ago, and to this day nothing has changed, it is almost impossible to play this game without finding bots, out of 10 games, most of those games are botted, VALVE has to stop sitting on their ass, they least they could do is make a functioning anti-cheat.

on the topic of popcap games - i absolutely adore how zomboss is introduced in PVZ

the entire game gives you these notes with average/sloppy handwriting, written by the zombies

and so you're like "haha these are funny" and then the game hits you with THIS

like no joke this is a pretty great way to introduce him, let alone that the next level is him whipping out an entire mech
