Sorry for the lack of post here, I don’t play the Sims a lot lately!

But in the last few weeks, I posted on twitter a few threads and posts to share some ideas about how the game could be improved. I won’t repost everything here, but I will give you links, don’t hesitate to reply and react there, if you have things to add!

Let’s start with this one, about our sims’ personality. I think that’s my main concern with the game, which prevents me from really enjoying the gameplay. Even with different traits, all sims seem to behave in the same way, and so it’s hard to get attached to them!

I have a lot of suggestions to improve this aspect of the game, don’t hesitate to have a look at the thread.

The next thread is about things I wish were added in game, in Buy/Build mode. I may have forgotten a few items and features (like bunk beds, or a small telescope), but this would already be a great improvement.

Once again, this one is not a thread, but it’s something really important for me. I wish we could create functional townhouses and appartement buildings for our sims.

It’s a really common type of housing in real life, we should be able to create them in our games.

Finally, something I already posted here, but don’t hesitate to react on Twitter, it’s more likely to be seen by the Gurus there!

Off-the-Grid shouldn’t be a negative lot trait only, but a valid way to live, with specific content.

I’m already thinking about a next thread, maybe about Worlds this time, but it’ll wait! I really hope to see some of these things in game next year. I know, some of these things are impossible to implement in the Sims 4… but maybe not in the next game?

In the meantime, I may not be really present here for a while, so I wish you all a happy holiday!
