Summary: Gaston gets protective of you while trying to win your heart

All your life, you’ve never felt the ultimate protection from a love interest as other girls have had.

That is, until you met Gaston. You were the younger sister of Belle and Gaston never knew of your existence until he happened to be in the same room as Belle when you had arrived on one of your regular visits. You walked in on the scene of Gaston trying to woo your older sister, and that was when it all started between you and Gaston.

The second Gaston had laid eyes on you, his eyes lit up like a Christmas tree, and in that moment to him, Belle never even existed; it was just you. It didn’t take Gaston very long to chase after your heart as he would Belle, but like Belle, you would always politely reject his affection towards you until one day, you decided that you’ve had enough of it. No matter how many times you’ve rejected him, it was clear to you that he was never going to give up on you, no matter how often you tried to avoid him, that would always seem like an impossible task for you to conquer.

The next time he would find you, you would be finding yourself doing laundry chores outside your home. As he approached you, you were folding a piece of clothing when it was unexpectedly swiped from you by a familiar muscular hand, also known as Gaston. You turned to face him with an annoyed look on your face and with folded arms.

“How about you join me for dinner tonight?”

“How about no?”

“Oh come on, Y/n. Don’t be like that.”

“May I please have that back, Gaston?”

“Not until you agree to give me a chance.”

“Fine. But if I do this, you will have to leave me alone afterwards.”

“Deal. I’ll come by and and pick you up tonight.” He says, hand you back the piece of clothing before taking off.

This helped you to get Gaston off your hands…for a while at least.

While you and Gaston took your seats at the table, you couldn’t help but notice the creepy strangers staring at you in the way that made you feel the most uncomfortable.

As you glanced at Gaston, Gaston seemed to have noticed that as well and pulled you a bit closer to him while giving those who dared to look at you funny, the mother of all death glares.

You were his, after all.

This was all wrong. He wasn’t meant to fall for someone like you and yet, here he was now just realizing that he was.

You were the younger sister of princes Jasmine and he himself was supposed be the bad guy, evil. He was meant to have plans to take over the kingdom and make the people nearby or outside the palace cast a never ending sufferings for his own amusement. He was meant to take over ruling and nothing more than that. When he believed that Jasmine was to be his bride to be, he had a slight change of heart when he first laid eyes on you, the first time he met you. It was a pleasant meeting and yes, you did find yourself attracted to him.

What stopped you from following your heart? Although he posed as a genuine, sincere, gentlemen, your gut was telling you that there was something about him that wasn’t quite right and you should keep your distance for your own safety. You chose to listen to your gut on that matter, and although you couldn’t quite put your finger on it, you could tell there was something off about him you didn’t know or didn’t like. It wasn’t easy keeping your distance as much as you can, as you were doing so while trying to not make it noticeable to him, distancing yourself. But Jafar was no fool; he picked up on it almost right from the start and started going through every reason possible as to why this was happening. Did he intimidate you enough to scare you off from him? Or just intimidated you without scaring you too much yet, enough to keep your distance?

If it was for one of those reasons, he wanted to show you, and only you his soft side that no other soul had seen. It was as if fate was on his side as he received the opportunity to take care of you after falling ill and soon, started fighting a terrible cold. With him taking care of you the way he did, it took you by surprise as he treated you like a queen who was sick in bed. During your time in sickness, he was like a well mannered and loyal servant to you as he brought you all of your meals along with other important items that are said to help you recover, while making sure you have you need at the same time. Everyone couldn’t help but watch in awe from the way Jafar was taking care of you. Despite his love for you, he couldn’t help but feel slightly embarrassed from the prying eyes from almost everyone around him as he would continue to cater you. Everyone was quite surprise and impressed at how Jafar was able to nurse you back to health the way he did.

Once you’ve fully recovered, he sat down next to you and was ready to confess his love. When you made eye contact with him, he seemed nervous, it was very clear he was by the look in his eyes and because he was like that, you were more than ready to hear what he had to say. A few minutes tick by and he takes in a sharp breath, taking your hands in his. You suddenly had felt a touch shy just from the feel of his hands, and couldn’t help but feel the light shade of pink rising in your cheeks, clearly visible.

“There’s something you must know, and something that I must know.”

“What is if?”

The side table rattles as Jafar bounces his foot from nerves. He takes in another sharp breath before just coming out with it.

“I-I-I love you. I understand if you don’t feel the same way. I just needed you to know”

Silence filled the air and when no one said anything, Jafar was beginning to think he was getting your rejection. But to his surprise, what you say next had him not believing what he was hearing as you returned the love.

…It surprised him over and beyond.

“Oh, Jafar… I love you, too!”

He lets out the breath he was holding as it turns into a sigh of relief. From that moment on, a beautiful, new relationship begins with the two of you love birds.
