Ichiro:

There is a look of pure love in his eyes from the moment he sees his baby. He’s kind of speechless too, he just can’t seem to find the right words to say when he reaches out to hold them for the first time. When he finally does have them in his arms he can’t help but just keep smiling at his baby because he thinks he’s holding the most wonderful and most beautiful thing in the world. He places gentle and careful kisses on their forehead.

Jiro:

He’s so nervous at first. He’s so worried that he’ll accidentally do something wrong and hurt his baby on accident. Or something bad will just happen and the worst case scenario will become reality just like that. But when he finally has them in his arms, all that weight and panic is just lifted. He’s still a little scared that he’ll squeeze a little too hard because he’s holding them tightly, protectively, and he’s never looked happier.

He’s honestly so overjoyed that he ends up crying from how happy he is.

Saburo:

It’s just love at first sight. His expression immediately changes when he has them in his arms for the first time. He’s staring at his baby with so much adoration and love in his eyes but he’s also kind of dazed? If this is a dream, he never wants to wake up from it, honestly. He’s super careful when holding them, worrying over whether or not he’s holding them too tightly or too loosely, if they’re comfortable in his arms, etc.

Ultimately both would respect whatever choice their crush makes. Whether it’s just choosing to stay single, or not choosing to date another person instead - as long as their crush ends up happy, whatever they choose to do in the end won’t really bother either of them.

If they wanted to remain single then that just means Samatoki and Ichiro get to compete for their friendship instead of affection.

If their crush chooses one of them, the other would definitely back off from there. Even though Samatoki and Ichiro don’t like each other at all, they’re not gonna mess with their relationships and all that. But mainly, they don’t want to ruin the relationship they already have with their crush and would want to remain friends.

They wouldn’t pry into their love life. They’re curious, but they won’t ask about it.

Surprisingly, there would be not a lot of hard feelings? Nothing would really change in the way they treat their crush. (Besides like… the not chasing after them anymore aspect.)

As for a poly relationship… I don’t think either of them would particularly be down for one? Like how just thinking about the other gets them all worked up??

Ichiro thinks anything that his s/o creates is the coolest thing ever. Like, seriously. He’ll be all over a piece of writing, a drawing, or just anything that his s/o makes. He’s always excited to see what they’ve created if they’ll let him see it.

“Oh my gosh! This is amazing!” and then affectionate screaming.

“This is beautiful. I’ve looked at this for 5 hours now.”

If it’s a gift to him, he’d be so stunned. Like… are you sure? Can he really keep it? He’s so insanely happy and he’ll cherish if forever. If he receives multiple gifts from his s/o, he has an entire shelf in his room dedicated to their creations.

As the King of Overworking, he will not allow his s/o to be the other Ruler of Overworking. If he sees them exhausted but still continuing to work, he’ll very gently try to get them to stop. If it’s something like a deadline they absolutely have to meet, he’ll try to stay up with them and just offer to be there with them the entire time.

But if they are against taking some time for themselves, he’s gonna >:C and dish out all the reasons why forcing themselves to work for long hours even when they’re tired is bad.

He’ll just set down a warm cup of tea or a drink he knows that his s/o enjoys besides them while they’re working. He’ll even throw in a fluffy blanket over them if it starts to get a little cold.

Jiro is the type of person who just… shows up holding a few flowers he saw on the way there because he thinks you’d like it. But on Valentines, it’s a gigantic bouquet of roses. Like, it’s so big there’s a ton of trouble and effort involved in trying to find a place to put it.

He also fishes a few pieces of chocolate out of his pockets.

He normally doesn’t receive much presents on Valentine’s Day, so if he receives one from someone he likes he’s like “HOLY SHIT YOOOOO”

He’s used to coming home and seeing a pile of chocolates that Ichiro received, and Ichiro usually shares with Saburo and Jiro since there’s just?? so?? much??

But Jiro dashes to his room ignoring the pile because he thinks that the chocolates he received from that one special person is all he needs.

If he receives chocolate on Valentines Day, he makes sure to return the favor on White Day. He tries to make homemade ones then, but… doesn’t really work.

It doesn’t taste bad! They just… look… weird…?

He improves quickly, though. It starts to look better every year.

Dates with Jiro can honestly just be described as “fun.” He especially loves carnival dates, Disneyland dates, etc. If his s/o shares an interest in anime and games with him, he’d love to go with them to one of those anime/game themed cafes like Eorzea Cafe or something.

He honestly gets so excited when going to Disneyland with his s/o he might just run ahead and forget to grab a map and get lost.

He’s trying to blink away the sleepiness that’s weighing on his eyelids. He should turn down the brightness on his phone but he’s too tired to even do that.

Doppo rubs his eyes, trying to scroll through his list of contacts to find Hifumi’s name.

Why does it get so hard to read when it’s late?

He continues to scroll and search for Hifumi, and when he sees it, his finger slips and accidentally hits the name on top of Hifumi’s. But he doesn’t notice. Not yet.

He types in his message to Hifumi - something about meeting up in the morning for something, and he hits send and is about to fall face first into his pillow before he glances at the name.

That’s not Hifumi.

His jaw drops when he realizes that he had sent a message to the wrong person and all he can do is watch as the bar slides across the screen at a painfully slow pace.

Your phone lights up and buzzes on the table and you wonder who it was sending you a message so late.

…Doppo? You suppose it’s not a surprise that he’s still up so late, but the contents of his message confuses you.

When you finish reading his message, a new one appears - he’s apologizing for sending you the wrong text at such a late time, and that it was meant for someone else.

With a glint of mischief in your eyes, you send back a teasing reply,

“I wouldn’t have minded if the text was meant for me.”

When Doppo receives your text, his heart nearly stops as his phone slips out of his hands, right onto his face.

Hifumi loves to cook - especially if he’s cooking for someone else. In his free time, he’ll be trying out new recipes and will always be thinking about what to make for dinner the next day. He really thinks that food tastes much better when you’re with others so he’ll always be inviting Jakurai and Doppo over to share a meal together.

When cooking for his s/o or Doppo, he pours all his love into it while making it. He’ll always be cooking their favorite foods and making cute shapes with the vegetables and shaping the rice into hearts and such. He has a drawer filled with cute animal molds.

He hates bugs. He can’t stand bugs, and will never be able to smack one. Especially if it can fly, he screams even louder. But! In his host mode, he suddenly gains the ability to calmly catch the bug and get it outside.

When he sees a spider he screams for Doppo to go get it. If he sees a bug in his room and he loses it, he will not be able to sleep in his room for a good week or so, or until he knows that the bug is gone for sure.

Gets moved to tears easily when people tell him how much he means to them. It could be a simple, “thanks for being my friend” and he’ll be tearing up and clinging onto them.

If he hasn’t seen someone in a long time he will launch himself at that person and tackle them onto the floor. (with lots of affection, of course.)

He can’t do horror movies. Or roller coasters. Please don’t take him to a haunted house.

The only Haunted House he can do is that one Disneyland ride. (Does that even count?)

Please don’t make him play horror games either, jumpscares are his weakness.

Despite all this, he still loves ghost stories??

Quick pecks on his cheek are his favorite. He always gets so giggly when he receives one from his s/o.

Would let his s/o paint his nails if they asked. But only if he gets to pick the colors.
