All the advanced technology, trains, computers, internet, architecture, strong economy, getting rid of the corrupted system, getting rid of Root and all of Danzo's followers, helping Sakura open the first ever mental health clinic, maintain peace between the nations, making the entire fire nation the richest... Literally everything you see in Boruto happened in Kakashi's reign, the day Naruto became Hokage, when Kakashi retired and handed Naruto the Hokage hat, all of that was already there so... 🤷🏻‍♀️

I will never forgive that person who made the fake screenshot of the blow up the moon meme, the biggest misconception/misinformation in the Naruto fandom.

if you do this, congrats, you’ve totally defeated the purpose of the tagging system!

AO3 is not tiktok. it is not run by a mega-corporation that sanitizes content for advertisability and shadowbans or deletes content. it’s an ARCHIVE. 

by doing this, it means people won’t be able to exclude or include your tags. and if they use a text-to-speech reader, you’ve made it ten times harder to understand. 

this goes for tumblr too!! if you put “su!c!de tw” anybody who has “suicide tw” blacklisted will still see your post. it’s not a warning if the words aren’t able to be read or recognized by the systems.

no hate if you’ve been doing this! just fix your tags and don’t do it in the future.

I was talking with @aerugonian and Raven about Katoshi in the Twin AU (in which he is the twin brother to Hitoshi Shinsou) and also runs a flower shop to make money for them to live and Raven gave me the awful description of “white hair in a ponytail, flower shaped sunglasses, and neon pink face mask” for him so obviously I had to draw it.

The name tag was written by Hitoshi himself, he likes to make Katoshi’s name tags different daily. This one was because Katoshi said no to getting him a cat. And the flower shop is called Tanaka’s Flowers because Katoshi was too lazy to change the name of it when he took over lmao. This drawing is so cursed but I love it.

I love your world-building posts! I especially love all the lore about the Hatake Clan in your stories. Do you have any headcanons about the Hatake white chakra and Kakashi's average chakra levels?

I mostly model the Hatake Clan kekkai genkai mentions after the White Dog lore from InuYasha, which in turn was modelled after the Japanese Yama-Inu legends. Because magic swords and dogs and white hair. So anything about the White Chakra stems from that general concept base, and then I expand as best suits the story. 

As for Kakashi’s average chakra levels, I always saw the white chakra explanation as to why Kakashi survived having the sharingan implanted in battlefield conditions and then never needed additional genetic modifications to support the eye’s continued use. For examples from canon: Nagato’s body is basically being eaten by his use of the Rinnegan. Danzo needed to use Hashirama cells and halfway turn himself into a plant zombie before he could use the stolen eyes he had. But Kakashi? Thirty seconds after Rin pulls her hands off his face he’s throwing down with Iwa Nin and mostly winning.

Sure, Kakashi risked chakra exhaustion every time he overused the eye Obito gave him, but that’s why he switched career tracks. At the beginning of Kakashi Gaiden, Kakashi is being trained to be a frontline heavy hitter. A nuclear deterrent in the same way as the White Fang and the Yellow Flash. After Kannabi Bridge? He’s shunted into ANBU, where stealth and secrecy are more important than making a flee-on-sight impression.

So it’s not that Kakashi has below average chakra levels, it’s that for most of the series he’s operating at half capacity. So I can only imagine how terrifying he became after he recovered from the Fourth War. Anyone ready for a second, more dangerous coming of the White Fang? No? Well I am! XD

So I went to the Josh Fight

a summary:

- Two Josh Swains were in attendance. OG Josh, hailing from Arizona

- And Nebraska's own Josh Swain, from Omaha.

(feat. An Audio Engineer doing THE MOST for that sound quality)

-All the local news stations were there

- The majority of attendees were from out of state

- The two Josh Swains battled for supremacy by Rock Paper Scissors duel.

- The victor? Josh Swain, from Arizona. A crushing defeat for Josh Swain, who despite having none of Josh Swain's newfound Twitter Clout, DID have the home team advantage, as well as a Great Look.

- Following the Josh Swain Duel and coronation of the One True Josh Swain, there was an All-Josh pool noodle battle royale

- A brief list of notable Josh Variants I saw in this battle:

Medieval Josh (full chain mail armor)

The rules were simple. Enter the ring and fight honorably (no headshots, no hits below the belt.) If you are hit with a pool noodle, you are dead, having fallen in glorious battle. The last Josh standing would be the winner.

The battle lasted a little over sixty seconds in total. The final victor was....

LITTLE JOSH, THE SMALLEST COMBATANT.

The crowd was going wild. The chanting for Little Josh was deafening. Truly there could have been no better outcome.

pool noodle combat was then opened to the general public, for fun rather than glory.

As for Josh Prime, he seemed like a very cool dude! As of last reporting, he raised $6600 dollars for the Children's Hospital and a truckload of nonperishables for the local food bank alongside the other Josh Fight attendees! He offered masks to any maskless people he met, and did his best to keep things as safe and socially distanced as he could, despite the ungodly amount of people who showed up to this random fucking field outside of Lincoln, Nebraska.

(Also for the Nebraskans: Yes he tried a Runza, and yes he says he enjoyed it.)

So anyway. Shoutout to the one and only Josh Swain.
