Day 1 of #marchingtothebeat! The song for the day was I'm Still Here (Jim's Theme) from Treasure Planet.
A young Ellismus with his childhood friend Jakob after the two arrive in a new village for a fresh start.
"They can't tell me who to be, because I'm not what they see. The world is still sleeping while I keep on dreaming for me. And their words are just whispers and lies that I'll never believe. I'm the one now, cause I'm still here."
Enjoy a fun little prompt for March to get those creative juices flowing!
There are no preset daily themes, instead you simply open up your music library and hit shuffle—whatever song comes up is your theme for the day!
Whether you want to base your theme around a portion of the lyrics or the song as a whole is up to you!
Challenge yourself and use this as inspiration for:

- Art
- Creative Writing
You can go every day or just when you have some spare time, and whenever you do participate share what you've come up with on Twitter, Instagram or Tumblr with the tag #marchingtothebeat and let the beat be heard!
It's been a while since I've posted anything (I've been sick and I got a new computer, so I've just been struggling to get myself set up again). But, finally, I can show off my pretties!
I caved and got a lovely mould and have started making full sets of stones! I call this one, Twilight Dreaming. =3
I received ok_cosplay and their lovely Viera WoL (pictured below). Congratulations and we all look forward to reading more from you in next year's 30-Day Writing Challenge!
I LOVE how these came out!! The speckles of copper in the sea green with hints of white just looks... mm, so good. Not sure if they'll be pendants or keychains or both yet, but just so pleased! Gonna try the same sort of design pattern but maybe with silver and purple, and gold and pink or red.
I've been doing a lot of testing of themes and ideas and these are some of the ones that have come out so far! A few need polishing still and a few used a resin I've found to be far too bubbly no matter what I do, but they look really awesome!
The final result on a test stone I made trying to capture a galaxy theme. I'm really happy with the result and the colour shift hiding in the background looks even better in person! =D
