these tourists going to Mexico and then complaining about the music because iT’s ToO LoUD it’s like me going to Las Vegas and telling the hotel managers to turn off the music and turn off the lights because I’m trying to relax. Like. DON’T TRY and take away our culture. You want a quiet place, go somewhere else.

She's in love with herself
She likes the dark
On her milk-white neck
The Devil's mark
Now it's All Hallows Eve
The moon is full
But will she trick or treat?
I bet she will
She's got a date at midnight
With Nosferatu
Oh baby, Lily Munster
Ain't got nothing on you

Whenever tourists go to Mexico and complain about the bandas and mariachis that are playing in beaches and restaurants.
“Que se vallan ellos, que se vallan ellos. Que se vallan ellos, que se vallan ellos.
Lo que me pertenece a mi,
se lo quedan ellos, que se vallan ellos.”
Like seriously how tf are tourists going to visit a country that’s known for playing live music in beaches and restaurants then complain about it?? Si no te gusta, vete a otro lugar. Así de fácil. No chinguen.

a personal headcanon of Sooga and my OC is that they’re always bound to each other in this lifetime (aka my current fanfic) and any other lifetimes (fanfics) that may be created in the future.

I was definitely not expecting for my previous post to get interactions. 😅 but anyways, my next tattoo will be Sooga’s mask on the back on my left arm. Since I’m a lefty and I want him to be on my dominant side.

The Royal Family of Hyrule
This chapter contains the backstory of my OC, Anya and when she first met with the royal family.
Anya’s wooden stick clashed with Lula’s stick as the two children played swords outside in the field of Kakariko Village. Whenever one of them managed to gently nudge each other with their imaginary swords, they’d drop down on the grass, playing dead and erupt into laughter right away. It was springtime and the warm weather was approaching soon.
Despite Anya not being Sheikah and living in Kakariko Village, Lula quickly took a liking to her given that they were about the same age and quickly became friends.
“Supper is ready!” Anya’s mother called out to the young girl.
Before the children went back home for the evening, Lula raised her wooden stick, shouting “to war!” Anya laughed and they continued playing swords for a few more minutes before dropping the wooden branches and ran into their respective houses.
“We will continue playing tomorrow!” Anya shouted and Lula nodded enthusiastically and shouted okay right back.
The young girl headed over to the wash basin and washed her hands while her mother served two bowls of veggie cream soup.
“Anya, we have to talk.” Her mother began and Anya joined her mother on the dining table.
“Where’s father?” Anya inquired, noticing that he still hadn’t come home and they usually waited for him to have supper.
“He’s closing the shop a little late today. He’s been harvesting the vegetables earlier and started work later.” She explained.
Anya’s father was a farmer and ran a vegetable shop a couple houses and other businesses away. Sometimes her mother helped him with the store and Anya came along. Whenever travelers from other regions would come into their store, Anya would greet them first and ask them questions about the other places in Hyrule that they’ve been to.
——
“Such a curious little one you got there.” A gerudo woman once said, while shopping for durian.
“I am so sorry for my daughter and her many questions.” Anya’s mother apologized and the gerudo woman chuckled.
“No apologies are needed, I used to be a curious child too. I hope you someday get to see the many wonders that Hyrule has to offer.” The woman added, paid for her produce and left bidding them goodbye.
One evening, when Anya was outside with Lula she commented, “someday I’m going to visit other places that’s not here.” Anya said wistfully, while looking at the sunset.
“And you better bring me something from your future travels.” Lula enthusiastically replied.
“I pinky promise.” Anya answered by raising her pinky finger and they wrapped their fingers, sealing the deal.
——
Anya’s mother barely touched her bowl of soup as the older woman gazed upon her only child and struggled with what she was going to say next.
“Anya…” she began. “You’ve always been a remarkable child. Always helping me or your father out in any way you can and for that, I’ll always be thankful. Hylia blessed your father and I with you.” Malon added.
“Your remarkable abilities have caught the attention of the Kingdom of Hyrule.” She continued. “The kingdom has been searching for someone to help out the princess to mend her dresses and other tasks. And after hearing about you, they reached out and are interested in seeing your abilities.”
Anya grinned, “and when will I return to play with Lula?”
There was a few seconds of silence before Malon spoke up. “You’re not. You will be moving to Hyrule castle tomorrow before sundown.”
The girl’s smile faded as she pushed her bowl away from her. “But I can’t go live with strangers. What about my best friend?”
“She’ll understand. And when the kingdom asks something of you, you can’t just say no. You will be moving tomorrow and that’s final.” Malon stated firmly.
“I can’t believe that you would let them take me away. You’re so unfair!” Anya exclaimed and ran outside, getting as far away from her house.
Kakariko Village was an easy place to get lost if travelers were newcomers but in Anya’s case who had eight years living there, she knew her way around the village. She ran up the hill that overlooked Kakariko as the tears began flowing down her face.
Anya couldn’t believe that she would be leaving in less than 24 hours and that her mother was allowing it. She knew that there was nothing she could do about it — Anya couldn’t stay on that hill permanently nor could she run away from home and never come back. The young girl couldn’t break a request from the royal family.
She hiccuped as a frown replaced her subsiding tears and Anya eventually stood up, dusted herself off and made her way back to her parents house. By then, the village had quieted down and most of the shops had been closed for the night with the exception of the inn, where travelers would come looking for a place to sleep. She was getting mentally prepared to break the news of her unexpected departure to her friend while she trekked back home.
When she arrived at the door of the house she’d be leaving soon, Anya noticed that the lights were still on as she fiddled with her fingers nervously — a habit she picked up whenever she’d be playing in the mud with the other kids of the village and her mother would scold her. Slowly turning the doorknob open, she noticed her father had already arrived and was eating the remaining soup that was left for him while her mother was sitting in bed reading a book and didn’t even look up.
“You’re finally home.” Malon commented. She sounded relieved, to Anya’s surprise.
“I needed some space to process the news.” Anya responded.
The wooden chair scraped on the floor as Anya’s father slowly stood up and turned to look at his daughter. His gaze was warm and gentle and she immediately felt at ease.
“Let’s go talk outside.” Her father stated.
“Kafei..” his wife began.
“It’s okay, I have to talk to my daughter.” And with that, both Anya and Kafei headed outside and sat on the wooden bench that was on the porch of their house.
“You know… you leaving so suddenly is so hard for me- for both your mother and I.” Kafei mentioned. He was trying to seem strong for his family but even at Anya’s young age, she could tell that he was taking the news as hard as she was.
“I remember when you were just a baby learning how to take her first steps and we had to make sure you wouldn’t fall over.” He chuckled and continued, “then suddenly, you knew how to stand and walk on your own and didn’t need our help as much.”
Anya’s eyes watered at the fond memories he was recalling.
“And now here you are, about to start a new adventure because of your abilities that have made you come this far. And we couldn’t be any more proud of the person you’ve become and the many things you’re going to accomplish. We love you, Anya. And this will always be your home.” Kafei stated.
The young girl threw her arms around her father as she hugged him tightly and her tears soaked his shirt. “I’m going to miss you so much.”
“I’m going to miss you too.” Kafei’s voice broke as he held his daughter.
——————————
The next morning, Anya was awake earlier than usual and her father had already left to open his shop but planned on closing early to be there before she left. Her mother was outside tending to the garden while she had breakfast and ate slowly. The fact that she was leaving in a few hours was sinking in.
Suddenly, the remaining piece of veggie omelet didn’t seem as appetizing as she grabbed the plate off the table and stood up to wash it. Anya had to talk to Lula as soon as possible.
Anya quickly headed outside and made her way through the familiar path that she has walked through countless times and would lead her to Lula’s doorstep. Both Lula’s parents were outside taking care of their vegetable garden as they waved hello to Anya.
“Lula is in the backyard playing. Feel free to come inside and call her over.” Her mother nodded and dusted her clothes off.
“Thank you.” Anya acknowledged and led herself to the backyard.
Lula was by the pond throwing pebbles at the small body of water and Anya made her way towards her.
“Can we continue playing?” Lula asked and Anya nodded. Despite the responsibilities that would be placed upon her in less than 24 hours, she was still a kid. And she wanted to be a kid for the last time.
“Let’s play hide and seek with the other kids!” Anya suggested and they both made their way to the other kids in the village and soon after started their game of hide and seek.
When they stopped after a while of playing a few rounds, Anya pulled Lula aside to tell her about her departure. “I have to tell you something important.”
Both girls walked over to the hill that overlooked the village, and sat down. Anya fiddled with her hands for a few seconds then decided to just rip the bandage off and tell her.
“I’m leaving Kakariko Village tonight.” Anya blurted out and glanced over at her.
“Your ma and pa are taking you somewhere outside the village?! That’s so cool! But when are you coming back?” Lula beamed at her friend.
How she wished that was the case but unfortunately it wasn’t. Anya shook her head. “My mom and dad aren’t coming with me. I’m being sent to live in Hyrule Castle. And I don’t know when I’ll come back.”
Anya gave Lula a moment to process the news as she stared ahead of her. At this point, the royal family probably already sent out some of their people to pick her up.
“How long did you know about it?” Lula asked, glancing at her with teary eyes.
“Yesterday when I got home.” Anya stated. “I’m sorry.”
Lula being a year older understood her situation and hugged her.
“At least your dreams of seeing other parts of Hyrule are coming true.” Lula smiled sadly. “You’re like my sister and I’m going to miss you terribly.”
“You’re like the sister I never had. I’m going to miss you too, Lu.” Anya said and stood up, looking over at the horizon.
Soon after, Lula followed and got up as well.
“I should get going before they arrive.” Anya added.
“Hopefully the king or the princess does allow you to visit.” Lula commented.
Anya thought that she was done crying but as soon as Lula hugged her, the waterworks started again. The latter nodded at her friend and started making her way back to her parents house to pack her things, while Lula sat back down on the hill and watched her best friend whom she considered a little sister walk away.
When Anya arrived at the house, both her parents were outside and despite them trying to put on a happy front, their expressions said otherwise. She packed clothing and some books as she looked around the house for one last time. She wondered if she’d ever get to see these four walls again.
Those pondering thoughts were short lived when the clomping of horses approached and people started talking outside. Most likely her parents with the royal guards of Hyrule. She took a deep breath to keep her composure and made her way outside.
“You are Anya of Kakariko Village, correct?” An advisor asked.
“Y-yes. I mean correct.” Anya stammered.
The royal advisor studied the girl for a second then continued, “I am the royal advisor for King Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule. He is the one that requested your presence at Hyrule Castle immediately. Any further information on the matter will be given to you at the castle by his highness.”
The advisor nodded at the guards, signaling to help her out with her things and one of them put Anya’s luggage on the carriage.
“We will make haste and continue the journey to the castle immediately.”
As soon as she heard those words from him, Anya rushed towards her parents and hugged them goodbye, then pulled back and without looking back because it was going to be more difficult than it already was, she went into the carriage and sat away from the window. The royal advisor followed soon after and one of the guards closed the door.
Anya closed her eyes as she felt the carriage starting to move, indicating that the journey to Hyrule Castle had just begun. And since she has never traveled before, the ride to the castle felt eternal. Anya felt herself dozing off with every passing minute while the advisor sat upright reading the book that was on his lap.
She wasn’t sure how or if the advisor was interested in starting a conversation with her, and Anya felt so tired that she eventually fell asleep for a few hours. The trip was supposed to be short, thankfully. When she awoke, the advisor cleared his throat loudly and she sat upright, and turned to look at the window.
We’re definitely no longer in Kakariko Village. Anya thought as they passed by stands ranging from food to flowers and arrows. And for once since the trip started, the advisor spoke up.
“We will be arriving at the castle shortly.” Was all he said and looked back down to his book. When he told her that, the anxiety in her stomach began to creep up on her as she looked down at her clothes.
“Am I going to meet the princess as well?” Anya quietly inquired and the man sitting in front of her, looked up from the book. Seconds passed by and Anya was starting to regret asking the question at all before the advisor responded.
“Yes. His highness requested you to work for his daughter, princess Zelda. He will elaborate further on the matter when we arrive.”
The girl looked out the window once more as the carriage suddenly stopped and the guards exchanged a couple sentences with each other then opened the door of the carriage.
“This is Hyrule Castle Town.” The advisor said as he helped her get off the carriage.
“Thank you.” Anya responded as she looked around her in awe. The town was full of Hylians, Gorons, and even Zoras. Behind the marketplace were the many houses that most likely belonged to noble families.
“The castle is this way.” The advisor said as he tapped on her shoulder.
“Right.” Anya answered and followed right behind him while the guards helped carry her belongings.
The walk to the castle was silent as Anya felt too nervous to even start up casual conversation with the advisor who rarely even spoke. The fluttering on her stomach returned when she noticed that they were approaching the grand entrance.
Two men guarding the entrance stood tall and proud as they slowly opened the huge metal doors. Anya stood paralyzed realizing that this was it. Her life was about to change completely. Until the advisor gently tugged on her arm and they were inside the throne room.
“Your highness.” The advisor said and bowed. The King of Hyrule sat on his throne as he looked upon them. Anya quickly bowed as well.
The King stroked his beard in thought for a moment, then spoke up. “You’re the Hylian that’s been sought for to help out my daughter, correct?”
“Correct, your highness.” Thankfully Anya didn’t stumble upon her words this time as she didn’t want to make a fool out of herself in front of the King.
“What’s your name?” The King asked the girl.
“Anya, your highness.” She replied.
“Anya, you’re going to be my daughter’s handmaiden. Your job will be to help her out with any tasks she may have. Aside from that, you’ll also have to learn combat skills should the need arise.” The King instructed.
“Yes, your highness.” She answered.
When she glanced over to the left side, a child with hair as gold as the sun stepped out and with pretty green eyes.
“That is my daughter, her royal highness, Princess Zelda.”
