dante saying he thinks arthurian courtly romance is immoral irredeemable media bc reading about guinevere and lancelot would make women cheat on their husbands and go to hell for lust so funny. i would have blocked his tumblr

#i was just reading about this and how the courtly love of romance is opposed to the love of god #so adultery aside they'd all go to hell for loving a creature above god #except that dante makes his love for Beatrice seem like a path towards a love for God #which makes their love 👍
