a bnha au in which midoriya is pushed to becoming a villain because the entirety of class 1-A is disturbed by his habit of detailing their strengths and weaknesses.
everyone is on edge. why does the one person with a poor grasp on their quirk know so much about everyone else's?
and it's not just the students of 1-A.
he knows about 1-B and about the best pro-heroes in the game.
with that kind of knowledge.. midoriya izuku could be an absolute menace to society.
to make matters worse, he's not letting anybody access his notes. what is he hiding? why is he hiding it?
...who is he hiding it for?
naturally, the students of 1-A begin to ostracize him, and it's only amplified by bakugo's constant antagonism.
as izuku flourishes with his new quirk, the rest of the class becomes increasingly wary of his new strength.
it comes to a head when bakugo is kidnapped by the LOV.
when it all blows over, izuku is put in the hot seat by everyone. and i mean EVERYONE.
"friends", teachers... his own mother.
the incident shouldn't have happened unless.. someone told the LOV of the class's whereabouts. and after suspicions have grown, all fingers naturally point to izuku.
deku begs and pleads with all might to back him up — he would never give away the information of his friends like that!
he was just saving it all and trying to help them as best he could from the sidelines.
and the students can't deny it -- no one understood them better than deku, and they made the most progress with his help
but their doubts were too strong to ignore. and all might agreed.
izuku's told to relinquish his powers. to give up. all might forces him to give up ofa.
midoriya izuku is detained for aiding and abetting the league of villains.
crushed, izuku forces his way out of confinement and goes into hiding.
he just wanted to help. he only wanted to help. he wanted a new start; wanted to make friends and become heroes together.
but he failed. they didn't trust him. was he really that detestable?
no, something tells him. it's not his fault they were so wary of him. all roads lead to bakugo, but even then, he couldn't just blame bakugo alone.
everyone is at fault. everyone.
because in the end, nobody had his back but himself.
they made him like this.
so when izuku finds himself with the league of villains, happily joining their ranks, he thinks it only makes sense.
he's becoming the villain they so desperately wanted him to be.
and as he flips through his countless notes on every hero he's encountered, he knows that he's made the right choice.
