Dear Max,
10 years ago, a little girl who fall in love with the sport saw her idol set up a remarkable record, 9 wins in a row.
He was seen as the Red Bull golden child, for me, he was an hero, a super man.
Records are made to be broken
It’s what I tell myself since Sunday
Records are made to be broken
Congrats Max,
Sincerely,
A Seb’s fan

Did you know the Silverstone track hosted the first every event for the first F1 championship in 1950 ?
The circuit used to be a Royal Air Force airfield, and it’s one is the circuits with the most Grand Prix, with 73 Grand Prix (only events of a F1 championship where counted)
The first winner was Farina with the Alfa Romeo, the most successful driver on the circuit is Lewis with 8 wins, one with Mclaren, all the rest with Mercedes

Hello it’s me, I swear after this I disappear again, but quite and interesting matter to talk about isn’t it ??
Why is the Red Bull Ring such a problem ?
Well as you might know, the RBR hosts more than just the F1 GP, and one of the events that are the most popular for the circuit is the Moto GP weekend, it’s been back to the calendar since 2016 and everyone enjoys it quite a lot.
Circuits that shares the calendar with MotoGP are frequent in F1, like Silverstone, for example. The thing is, silverstone is not downhill, drivers are less tented to exceed track limits, but the rules are the same.
You might ask why they don’t but gravel or grass, so here are the regulations of the FIM :
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, down deep, it’s not really the FIA’s fault, or event actually the circuit, it’s a circumstances or events that makes it difficult. And as I have time, here is a list of things that makes this track limits thing exist :
Drivers are too low and can’t see the white line properly
Drivers gain time when they exceed track limits because they exit turn 10 quicker
FIA can’t change the regulations for one Grand Prix as it’s freeze for the all season
Turn 10 is slightly downhill
Is a high to medium speed corner
The RDB hosts the MotoGP event
The FIM and FIA have different regulations regarding circuit
The FIM is more severe with gravel and grass as MotoGP is slightly more dangerous
It’s expensive to add and remove gravel every-time F1 goes to the RBR
When everyone has a 5 seconds penalty it canceles itself during the race
And I go back to my place, bye and kisses 🥰
This might be the craziest thing you guys read today, some of you might be shocked, but maybe, and I repeat, maybe, if you have over 1200 (!!!!!!!!!) cases to review, maybe something about the track limits need to be changed???????????? Just add gravel or grass, it's literally that easy!!!! FIA being ridiculous once again

Before Zandvoort, the last Grand Prix poster I posted here was Imola. Since I have experienced new styles and different inspiration.
I wanted to share here too my posters as I was quite proud of some of them 🥰

Being an ecologist and caring about the planet isn’t about stoping doing what makes you feel alive, or letting down your passions, it’s about finding a way and fighting to make your passion being sustainable and not harming the planet. It’s about finding balance. It’s pushing for solutions.
I truly love how Sebastian managed to piss off Canada of all countries

Tumblr media
Of course we have Mister Ricciardo highlighted for this home Grand Prix ! So happy to be back to Australia. I keep it as much as possible with the orange for McLaren and the Australian flag. On the jokes side, we got two this weekend (sorry Haas) !
(If you can reblog or like it, it will support me a lot!)

I don’t want to be in a world where Spa, Monaco, Silverstone and MONZA aren’t in a F1 calendar

The rumour is now that Monaco might be losing its place on the calendar, after this year.
I feel like, if Monaco goes then it puts a lot of the other ‘historic’ tracks in a volatile position and tracks like Silverstone, Monza and Spa might be expected to pay more, competing with places that can pay much more to host a Grand Prix and eventually lose out on their calendar spot.
I know Monaco isn’t one of the most visually entertaining races, but it’s one of the best qualifying sessions of the season and it is also one of the (if not the) most mentally challenging track that F1 visits.
You ask any of the drivers what race they would most like to win and their response is always their home race or Monaco.
I don’t want a huge calendar, but I don’t want circuits with a deep history of motorsport to be removed from the calendar in favour of a high speed street circuit in a country that can pay twice or thrice as much.
