Hello! I've been following your fic, Broken Glass in the Morning Light, for a while and loving it (and loving the back and forth in the comments on the chapters lol) - but I have a question (not totally fic related)! I am picking up the Killjoys graphic novel for the first time ever and starting it and a thought occurred to me - so like - Better Living Industries is referred to as B.L.I., right? How is that actually said in conversation? Is it B-L-I? BLI (rhyming with lie)? A secret third thing? Idk it's a random thought, but everything killjoys rn makes me think of your fic bc i've been having absolute brain rot over it. Anyway, this question is kinda silly. ty!

I think it depends on the person within the comics. Some may just say Better Living (removing the 'Industries' part), others may say BL/ind (pronouncing the B and the L separately and then saying 'ind' after as a short version of 'Industries') and then maybe some people just say B.L.I (in my head they'd definitely pronounce each letter separately rather than just one word.

If I had to guess it would depend on where in the zones each Killjoy lived, almost as though each zone has its on colloquial language. People living in Battery City would probably just say 'Better Living Industries' (for obvious reasons), but in the zones I'd guess that they'd shorten it in different ways depending on where in the zones they live and also what the people around them say
