Pip: Time for plan G.
Ravi: Don’t you mean plan B?
Pip: No, we tried plan B a long time ago. I had to skip over plan C due to technical difficulties.
Cara: What about plan D?
Pip: Plan D was that desperate disguise attempt half an hour ago.
Connor: What about plan E?
Pip: I’m hoping not to use it. Jamie dies in plan E.
Nat, who had a disagreement with Jamie earlier: I like plan E.

I dont understand ppl who say that pip is ooc in agad,, like did you expect her to remain the same after the awful shit that happened to her??? And from the first book i immediately thought that pips character arc was gonna be about her stopping being a "good girl". It was pretty obvious since she compared herself to andie a lot in the first book and constantly said the detectiving made her a worse version of herself.
Tho I admit, i was expecting her to kill charlie green at some point, completing the cycle that he staryed w stanley but killing jason was also acceptable.
I also dont see why someone would say that max getting wrongfully convicted was wrong. Was it right? Maybe not, we can discuss that but you cant deny that it was just.

comics as a genre is such a good opportunity to tell stories about cosmic horror and existential horror though. to us the inconsistent characterizations and retcons are because of the everchanging roster of writers but as a character you wake up and you remember things that never happened to you—though it did now, didn’t it? if your memory tells you so. you walk around in your house and things have been moved around and picture frames where one of your family once was is empty, and you blink and there was never a space left for them in the first place, like they never existed. you cant stop yourself from saying things you absolutely didn’t mean—“he was a bad robin. what happened was no one’s fault but his own” that wasn’t true was it? it was a tragedy and he did the best he could, with his very last breath he tried to save the very person who had sealed his fate in death, and wasn’t that who robin was? but as soon as you said these words into existence something cemented, the universe shifted to make room for this tarnished memory of your brother

What the hell? I leave the desktop version of Tumblr for 3 1/2 hours because of a dentist appointment, and I come back to an entire layout being changed up!
Why is the menu on the side instead of upwards? And why is search on the right side instead of left??????

"old friends" is an underrated relationship dynamic because it's such an innocent boring sounding term for what is usually some of the wildest shit imaginable. it's always like 'oh yeah we go way back, we have history' and then you find out that history includes sex, drugs, murder, divorce, war crimes and The Incident

Peepaw Pennyworth headcanons for when I'm you're sad
Alfred is really good at sewing, and takes extra care while mending any sentimental items like stuffed animals. He never puts them through the wash, he always hand washes and dries them. When the kids were little and worried about their lovies he would allow them to help him 'give them a bath' or 'make them all better'.
He has also sewed many blankets for the kids. He always sews them one when they first start sleeping at the manor and when they get their first place of their own. They're very coveted objects.
Whenever he finds Zitka laying around the manor, he'll always return her to her rightful place on Dick's bed. Occasionally when he finds her he'll text Dick something along the lines of "Zitka was caught running away again. She misses you."
The only time the kids hear him get lovey dovey is the rare occasion he's incredibly wine drunk. When him and the Kents get together and raid the wine cellar the kids get a call telling them how proud he is of them and how much he loves them. Bruce as well, like 10 fold. He WILL cry because of how big he's gotten.
He enjoys carpentry. He just does. On the one (1) day off he takes a year he'll dissappear for the day and come back with a wooden toy for everyone in the house
When people ask how many grandkids he has, he says "around 6". When they reply "you're not sure?" pretty much every hero under the age of 30 flashes before his eyes, he replies "they're not sure either."
Babs and Bruce make Alfred, Jim, Lucius, and Leslie hang out for mandatory enrichment. It takes a bit for them to warm up to having friends but they eventually go bowling weekly. No one knows about the bowling league until they win the national championship.
Alfred doesn't get sick often, but when he does, it is a family affair. Everyone in the family has a role in taking care of him. There is a rotation so he's never alone in his room (so he doesn't escape), everyone has their own way of entertaining him. He does crosswords/sudoku with Tim and Damian; Duke, Cass, and Steph ask about his past, and Dick and Jason talk about their lives and ask for advice. Bruce is so worried Alfred spends most of the time reassuring him he's not dying.
Alfred's toxic trait is gossip. He loves to gossip and is somewhat infamous in the high society staff community for it. He knows everything about everyone within the elite circles. He has significant blackmail material on most of them.
Alfred has favorite villains. They're Two Face (he was somewhat close with Harvey) and Harley Quinn (he thinks she's smarter than she let's on). He also has most hated villains, which are the Riddler (annoying) and of course the Joker (has to be held back from finishing the job sometimes). He's been kidnapped by the riddler and it did irreparable damage to Eddie's self esteem
He has a soft spot for hounds. He took care of them in his youth and he still thinks they're precious. In my beautiful mind he has a Basset puppy named Mercutio
