I got swsh when it came out, hated it, couldn’t even get through the whole game. I think I quit after the 4th or 5th gym and sold the game.

But now I really want to play the post game stuff, like competitive and shiny breeding/hunting and the raids...so I guess I’m gonna suck it up and buy it again (pre owned because I’m a cheap ass and that game isnt worth full price) and power through the main game to get to post game. 

I hope that since I have some save data on my switch still it’ll maybe just pick me up where I left off when I quit and I don’t have to do it all over again. 

Don’t know yet if I’m getting Legends Arceus when it’s out, I want to see the Reviews and maybe watch some gameplay first before I decide.

Is wonder trade wednesday still a thing? I’m playing omega ruby, trading out some half-hacked shinys (I caught the pokemon legit then I turned it shiny) and I just got a shiny rotom that I think might be competitive-ready from someone who is apparently a twitch streamer.

I hacked my 3ds a couple years ago and forgot I put a randomized Sapphire game on here and never played it? So I started it last night and I just beat the first gym. 

My current team is Nidorina, Houndour, Pichu, Misdreavus, Tentacool, and Feebas. It took me like 3 hours of level grinding/finding a good pokemon (Nidorina) to beat that fucking Nosepass.

I love catching pokemon in balls that match/add to their aesthetic. Which makes it a pain when I find a high level one in the underground and want to catch it in a nest ball

Planning on rematching all the gyms with an entirely shiny, EV trained team, even if they shinies have shitty stats. Trying to use mostly a different team, including national dex mons this time, except I’m gonna use Roserade again if I can get a shiny Budew. Planned on that being my first shiny but the radar picked up on Buneary first so I just went with it

First shiny in bdsp! 51st in the chain, doesn’t have the best stats but oh well. Also got one with hidden ability and 3 IVs (not in the same one, unfortunately).

Forgot Dawn gives you pokeballs after the catching tutorial. Had already bought ten. Guess I have 30 pokeballs now

I’m picking up Shining Pearl today (hopefully, it is black friday after all, a fact I conveniently forgot), so I may be expanding my blog to include Pokemon, because my favorite part of any game is the post game shiny hunting/breeding and competitive battling. 

I’ve heard there isn’t true comp battling, like, no ranked battling for the remakes, but I’m still gonna treat pvp battling as comp, so  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Mainly because I just like the EV training grind, probably because I am autism and it’s nice and repetitive.

I know a lot of people are unhappy because the remakes are so close to the original with not a lot of new stuff, but I’m okay with that since I’m mainly looking forward to the stuff I just mentioned, which I think can be done in just about any Pokemon game. And I missed out last gen because I hated SWSH so bad I sold it before finishing the main game. Like, the story was just so boring and there were hardly any side quest things that I love from older games so it didn’t even hold my attention long enough to get to that post game i love, so I’m excited for this because I already know I liked the originals so the storyline won’t bore me and the world won’t bore me as I play toward post game.

I picked Pearl because I played Diamond when the originals came out. Never got to play Platinum, so maybe if I had I would relate more to people wanting the Platinum stuf added, but since I never had that experience it isn’t a big deal to me.

Are any other non-npc villagers related?? 

I mean I know they’re all npcs, but I’m talking about the ones who live on your island, not like, the Able Sisters or something. 

I really only know surface level stuff about the franchise, my first game was New Leaf and I played it very sporadically and got it toward the end of the 3ds’s life cycle since I uh, didn’t even have a 3ds until then because I was poor.
