I wanna hear about Gentle Apathy 👀 the name is so good

Oh, my gosh I am so glad somebody asked about this one! I have big ideas for this one even though it’s probably only going to be an Oneshot. It’s A Voice From Darkness fanfiction and I took the title from Paris Paloma and Old Sea Brigade’s song yeti (which I love)

It follows Malcolm has he reflects on his relationship with Julian. And how they used to be so close. However, Malcolm needs to let it go. Even though deep down he knows he won’t ever be able to. It’s just not in his personality. However, he doesn’t care for Julian in the way he used to (and Julian to him) hence the title gentle apathy.

So, it’s a Ghost Wax fan fiction because I’m obsessed with it. It follows Pip and Luca and how they are the best found family siblings. It’s post the canon of the first season. So, Luca is agonizing over his relationship with Charlie. My favorite line is “Granny Dorris said you were having trouble sleeping. Then we heard the scream.”

It’s not canon but I need them like this 😂😭

I don’t know how many people are actually going to want to see this but I wanted to try my hand at writing Grotto fanfiction. I hope I did these characters justice. It's a Mavid (Matt/David as I took to calling them). Set in a universe where they are together. All spelling and grammar mistakes are mine.

Sometimes Matt would wake up screaming. It broke David’s heart. He hates how powerless he feels when Matt is fighting his demons. It was one of those nights again. David woke up by the strangled sound of panic that Matt made. Matt stumbled out of their bed. David goes down to the floor with Matt. Matt trembled slightly. David moves closer.

“I’m reaching out to touch you baby,” Matt leans into his chest. David allows him too. Matt rests his head against David’s chest and David presses his lips to Matt’s head. Matt takes a shaky breath. They are silent for a while just basking in each other's presence.

“Nightmare?” Matt’s silence is answer enough. David knows Matt’s not going to want to talk about it. David would try to talk to Matt in the morning. Right now he’s just holding his boyfriend. It’s the least he can do for Matt.
