I looove that routine! She killed it with ball too, today!  Some minor imprecisions, but she’s such a consistent gymnast! Can’t wait for tomorrow!

Boryana absolutely KILLED those fouettés! Close saves and small mistakes, less precise than she was at the Bulgarian Nationals.

Pattinaggio di Figura – Campionati Mondiali 2019, Saitama (JPN) – Day 1 : Pairs/Ladies short

Manca meno di un’ora alla competizione che eleggerà i primi campioni del mondo di questa edizione. Ma con la finale delle coppie di artistico a così breve distanza, ripercorriamo i momenti più salienti di questa prima giornata di gara. Ecco, a proposito di questo, vi ricordate tutti i pronostici che sono stati fatti prima fino a ieri e tutti i “vinceranno loro, a meno che sbaglino qualcosa o gli altri siano puliti come non è successo durante tutto il resto della stagione”. Ecco, “loro” hanno sbagliato, ma “gli altri” hanno fatto i programmi migliori che potevano eseguire: parliamo dei primi classificati in entrambi i segmenti, i russi Tarasova/Morozov ed Alina Zagitova per le ladies che, dopo una stagione sempre tra i primi posti ma mai all’altezza delle loro vere potenzialità, si riscattano con questa prima giornata di Mondiali.

“It’s crucial to do a study to see how to help those who leave the competition and don’t have something to do. I think it’s important because those athletes have been competing and training for many years, they have been trying to take the name of our country around the world. We are a showcase for a flag, a country, people and traditions”.

About his future.

“Skating has given me everything. It’s my profession and I want it to be my future, I want to continue not as a competitor but as a person dedicated to the sport”.
