nebula should have been the one to kill her lifelong abuser and avenge her sister's death, and instead she shot an alternative version of herself (that was capable of redemption/rehabilitation) in the head……

#literally this also like bc this is mcu and tony is like the most important guy or whatever #and rdjs contract is expiring so he gots to die or whatever #it would actually have worked really well bc like #nebula has finally made a real friend like on her own like we see in the opening of endgame on the ship #like obv she's kinda friends with the guardians but like she kind of got them w gamora bc they're pack animals and whatnot #but like i said she's made a friend of her own and if t hanos then kills him that could be like idk #something to add to the list of grievances #and like it's not ideal bc it feels kinda cruel to have nebula make a friend only to take him away like immediately #but if we have to kill tony bc rdjs contract is expiring so he gots to die #then like idk. have him sacrifice himself for nebula like have someone do that for her #as a way to show how far she's come #(which like. 2014 nebula could maybe see it happen and like get some ideas and not get SHOT IN THE HEAD) #anyway this is in no way perfect but i think it would honestly suit tony more #like i feel like it would show some development in a way? of him not just panicking abt the big picture #but rather dying to save someone close to him #idk it could be a way to show him chilling out a bit in kind of a weird way like i feel like there's something there #like i said it's not perfect also sorry op

I’ll stand by the fact that there was no reason to hate on peter quill so much. he’s just a funky space pirate with immense trauma. he was kidnapped at eight years old immediately after watching his mom die, and raised by criminals who threatened to eat him. he uses humor as a defense mechanism & just really loves his friends bc he never had any healthy relationships prior. what happened on titan (him punching thanos) was such an insane reason for the entire fandom to turn on him tbh! he’s a fun character who saved the galaxy with a dance off and the power of friendship. hate chris pratt all u want but peter quill deserves better

crazy how gotg2 showed that rocket loved and valued his teammates and thought of them as family and how infinity war had him admit that he had a lot to lose and also show empathy and compassion for another character outside of his family but in endgame rocket doesn’t remember mantis’ name and treats Thor without any of the compassion he showed in the previous film.
