Here’s two pieces of art that I made recently! The second one was a redraw of some art I made a couple years back to see my progress, pretty proud of myself :)
I didn’t want to do anything over the top for either so the hair is lackluster but I went overkill on the rabbit’s eyelashes lol
just learned that a mutual of mine is pro israel (they’re now blocked) so i wanted to take the time to say that if you believe what’s happening in palestine is not a genocide than you are not welcome here. unfollow me block me whatever i don’t want you interacting with me at all
Sunny D has finally reached his final stage of where I want him to be in customization! I have to remake his hood when I have time to sit down and do it because I had only a general idea of what I was doing then.
thank you again to @furbbish for letting me have this adorable baby! I love Sunny so much :)
I forgot the box and my ornaments at school! I was so caught up in the festivities and last few tests that I forgot to pick them up. Oh well, I'll grab them after break is over
I’m really excited for when my box is finished, it’s been a labor of love and my ceramics teacher has given me a lot of patience since it’s been two weeks late since it’s been going through issues then I got really sick. I’ve started adding the One Eyed Cat and the Ghost Host already(GH just needs his outline then he’s done), I just need to sketch out the Hatbox Ghost and the gates for the last sides of the box!
I wanted the inside to be like the wallpaper so it’s purple, but it’s way too complicated I’ve since realized for me to paint on there so it’ll stay a solid purple. Huge thanks and apologies to my teacher!! Last two days to work on it before the show and the final due date, I’ve given her much stress.
Since this Furby was non-working(well, was, but kept breaking issue after issue) I decided to plush-ify it but I found a much better use! I love puppets, so I’m excited to make one of Furby >:)
I have a 3D pen so I’m planning on making additions to the head in order to make them easier to manipulate, as well as cut out a hole in the bottom of the ‘head’ so my hand can go through. As for the ears, I am unsure. I may just leave them floppy
Something that's been knocking around in my head for a while: I think a lot of new writers get thrown off by their assumption that writing will be anything like reading. Reading is a dreamy, passive experience--scenes, dialogue, and description flow over you as you are taken under the writer's spell. Writing, on the other hand (with the exception, sometimes, of the first draft), is the laborious, almost mechanical-like task of putting narrative elements together so that the reader can lose themselves in your story. In short, reading and writing are very different experiences, and the assumption that they will be, or even should be, the same, is cause for much angst among new and experienced writers alike. It's a frustrating thing, because a love of reading is usually what gets people interested in writing in the first place. I've been writing for several decades and I still feel confounded by this clash--it's part of why I don't read much when I'm deep into my writing, and vice versa. And when I am writing, I constantly have to remind myself: Writing is not watching a magic show. Writing is figuring out how to smuggle the rabbit into the hat.
why didn't coelacanths(🐟) go extinct and survived for so long??? (At least like 10 years) well. This is because they love you. Because they love so much.,
