Listen. I realize it might not be possible to find what I am looking for but I want to know: Out of every Sentai season, is there any where the team begins as a squad of 6 and then a 7th joins? And if so, can I see a picture of their group post-transformation pose after the 7th joins? This is needed for art reference purposes so even if that kind of team doesn't exist I can just base it off the one season I know. I appreciate your depth of Sentai knowledge!

Ok, the only one I can think of close to that is a series that begins with two teams of three (which makes 6 heroes) who share a 7th member. That would be 2018's Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger vs. Keisatsu Sentai Patoranger.

The problem with them was that they were two rival teams, one being Phantom Thieves and the other Police Officers. There were episodes where they had to work together to fight the shared villains of the series but they never really had a shared pose. What they did share was Noël Takao, who was the extra hero for both teams. When he was with the Lupinrangers, he was Lupin X, a silver suited hero and when he was with the Patoranger, he was Patren X, a gold suited hero. His intention was to somehow unite the two teams against the series villains, the Ganglars. This is the closest I could find to a full team pose for both together.

Happy late birthday and happy anniversary! Your blog has been a very big inspiration for me to help get into older shows of the franchises like Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, etc. Although I do admit that binging the entirety of OG Kamen Rider probably did some uncontrollably damage to my psyche but who's counting?

I try not to do too much psychic damage to my followers but if it comes from binging all of the older Rider shows, I will be happy to take the blame. There is just something magical to me about the older shows, when they had to rely on whatever practical effects they could manage on their limited budgets. They never failed to make fun, if not always convincing, action scenes.

It's also so good to hear from folks who have enjoyed my blog for all of these years, or found it recently. Knowing I am helping to spread the love for Toku always warms my heart and makes me smile. Keep watching and happy viewing!
