I had to post a quick shot of this toy, it's just such a gorgeous sculpt. I'll do a full gallery when I have a little more time.

And Shinkocchou Seihou OG Shadow Moon! I've held off taking pictures of mine because his V crest is bent on one side. But now I think it's kind of charming.

Something to make my Shadow Moon unique.

Yaiba as Valkyrie had two forms in the series - Rushing Cheetah and Lightning Hornet. She’d get a final form, Justice Serval, in the V-Cinema.

Kento as Espada had two main forms in the series - Lamp do Alangina and Golden Alangina. He’d get a final form, Arabiana Night, in the V-Cinema

Sakura as Jeanne has two main forms in the series. The default Cobra Genome and final form Invincible Jeanne

Neon as Naago has four forms in the series - Beat, BeatBoost, FeverBeat and final form Naago Fantasy.

I finally opened this after having it in my "to be opened" pile for a few weeks-- which is nothing, honestly. I have stuff that I haven't opened yet in well over a year!

What can I say, display space is at a premium.

We've come to expect a certain level of quality from Figuarts. Save from a small handful of notorious QC cases- you know what you're getting when you spend your money. A very high quality, high end figure with great articulation.

But then there are a few examples like this - exceptional even beyond the high bar already set by the rest of the line.

Absolutely stunning sculpt. Incredible paint and texture work. At first glance it looks monochrome. But when you have it in-hand, all of the small variations in tone and texture pop out.

And of course, impressive articulation. A lot of new engineering here. This toy really deserves a full gallery. Soon.

I haven't seen more than a little bit of Kamen Rider Black Sun (currently streaming on Amazon) - but I love the design, and I'm excited to watch it.

Rating Reiwa Final Forms (part 1)

I was gonna wait till the Reiwa era is over but who knows how long that’ll be

Aruto Hiden’s Zero Two

It’s Never Over! Like Faiz Blaster, it has the problem of being too similar to the original form, but this improves on it by having some clearer differences from the base form. I do like the “02″ kerchief on the neck, and it being a separate belt (and by that I mean a Zero One Driver with something added onto it) means more than just Aruto can use it, like what Izu did.

Touma Kamiyama’s Xross Saber

It’s a pretty suit. While it’s still just a repainted Saber Brave Dragon, that fact that it’s hand painted is genuinely impressive to me. The color scheme does give it a dreamy look, and it genuinely looks like a final form to me.

Ikki Igarashi and Vice’s Ultimate Revice 

It’s armor over the base suits. Very fun, and while it’s not what you’d expect from a final form, still does the job well. They went from trans icons to bi icons and that’s glorious as well. They leave a bit to be desired, but that can be forgiven.
