i hate it when stuff comes up like this. So id like to add everything she saying is correct but i dont get why cis women are so concered with Trans Women are you jealous they are just like you and deserve the same amount of love PLESAE SHARE THIS
The amount of transphobia in the Witch community is disgusting.
Let me preface this by saying one thing, this is NOT a post trashing witchcraft/paganism. If you looked at my blog you would see that I am a Wiccan witch. This post is also not hating on feminism, I am an intersectional feminist. Just thought I would add this in since I know some people will look for any reason to support or disregard their toxic ideologies.
Now that that’s out of the way, let me explain. I was watching a video about radfems and terfs on Tumblr when I noticed that a lot of the people saying “trans people aren’t real” or “trans women can’t be included in feminism” were either pagans or witches (or both). And me, wanting to confirm that I was indeed correct, went on the terf and radfem tag and found some utterly disgusting, transphobic posts from witches/pagans. And I guess I just want to know, why the hell is no one else talking about this???? Not only are these people alienating a whole group of minorities from feminism but also turning any trans person who may be interested in paganism or witchcraft away from it. It’s fine to have opinions and beliefs, but when your beliefs are directly hurting someone or involve spouting nonsensical and hateful things to make a group of innocent people look bad, then we have a problem. Also, I have noticed a few blogs saying that men and trans mtf can’t be witches which is such a toxic and hurtful mindset that we as a community are allowing to be seen. I guess I just want to say that more people need to be aware of this and more people need to be talking about this. I also want to say to any trans person reading this or for any guy who may be interested in the Craft and are feeling ostracized from it, you are valid, you are worthy, and you deserve to be as much a part of this community as any cis woman does.

Dear Mister President.
Dear mister president
You had to have known
That this virus would come to our home.
You have access to information
That we do not have
Yet you didn’t act quick enough;
And you blame it on the Chinese.
You said with no evidence
That this was man made;
What a convenience!
If this were man made,
We’d have a cure
But instead we have doctors and nurses
Who are scrambling to help us.
Dear mister president,
You had to have known.
President Obama stated this virus existed
Around five years ago.
Now we have 113,303 deaths
And 3.01 million cases confirmed;
Dear mister president,
Why did you wait?
My mother works in health care,
And she was aware
That something was wrong;
But you basically turned a blind eye
And said “everything is fine.”

Fun fact i will be able to vote in the 2024 election that is also my graudation class for highschool. . . SO TRY TO SHUT ME UP NOW
I’m not “too young for politics”
I always find it funny that when I’m talking to adults and they make a political joke and I give an educated response on current politics, I’m always asked: “How do you know that?” or I’m told: “You’re too young for politics”. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not that heavily invested in politics, but I generally do know what is happening (and I can be very opinionated at times).
Now that I’ve told you about myself, let me give you some information in a way you might not have thought about it before:
The majority of current high school students will be able to vote in the next presidential election
When I was in 8th grade and the 2016 election was really starting to become a big deal, I was fortunate enough to be taking US history with one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. She was very interested in using the current election to prepare us for the next one and managed to keep her own political views to herself (except once when I ate lunch with her and she talked about how she would like to have a conversation with Trump, but that’s a story for another time).
But that received a lot of backlash from parents. When she assigned us to watch the debates and answer some analysis questions as homework, several kids came back with blank pages and my teacher got several strongly worded emails saying that they didn’t want her teaching their children about politics, she should be teaching about history.
But here’s the thing: that is now history, Yes, it’s still very current, but all the things that happened two years ago are no longer history. And everything we were learning about the election was tied to the things we learned about on the historical side too. Donald Trump said Ted Cruz couldn’t be president because he was born in Canada? She taught about the qualifications of being a president. Gun control was being debated? We learned about the second amendment, and why the laws were made the way they were. She taught the value of checking your source, and about how everyone has a right to their opinion witch, though can be questioned, should also be respected.
So unless you want an uneducated, new wave of voters who aren't able to make educated decisions on what the future of our country would be, please stop telling us that politics are “boring adult stuff, that you wouldn’t find it interesting”.
