How dare you fall behind (jk) BIT OMG UOU LIKED IIIIT
TODAYS SONG IS RUN BABY RUN BY THE RIGS ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Such a good song and for what????
(I fell behind on answering these, sorry)
This song feels like one of my OC's really. It feels like sitting on a misty mountain with the sea stretching out all around you while you accept that the world you love has died. This song is saying goodbye to all that you love and wishing your ghosts goodbye before submitting yourself to the fight that life will now be for the rest of eternity, one you will live empty and uncaring, even if once your heart beat for all that lived. Now that heart is cold towards the world, and only duty pulls you forwards.
This song is my Star Child, my beloved sculpture that I've crafted for 7 years that was only destroyed when I shared him with the world and the people I knew. This is such a him thing, just- wow!

I’m,,, speechless :/ this description >>
They’ll like me when I’m sick - FLATSOUND aka one of the best hurt/bare minimum comfort songs there is I take literally no criticism whatsoever
This song is sitting soaked by the rain inside a cheap roadside diner, the sky crying out your agony outside while you nurse a cup of bitter coffee. You've lost, you've suffered, you're trying to figure out where to go and your text for help has been left on read by all those you love most.
It's a vibe really.
It's stomping out and pulling yourself into you mud-slick Ford ranger and driving down back roads to your favorite place and letting everything wash over you while you blast music so loud that your hoop earrings are rattling in your ears and getting tangled in your curly hair as you sit and watch the storm, anger and hurt blooming inside.
I don't even know why, I just saw this in my head.

The TALENT ! the FLAVOUR ! (Poor vio bb :/)
Sour Swords, A Linked Universe Fic
Okay.
*deep breath*
Sour Swords is going to be my first fic with more than one chapter-
Here's chapter One, it's very long, but not even close to finished.
Time Should've really tied up his past shouldn't he?
Four almost had a heart attack. He was running, running as fast as he could, not stopping to hear the Chain screaming after him.
“Four!” Wild yelled. “Four, stop running! We can figure this out!”
Four couldn’t disagree more. This was more important to him than anything, and he didn’t care if he had to spill some secrets for it. He didn’t care, because he was already in the worst shape he could be. He’s incomplete, three’s not enough. He’s missing a piece of his own minds, and it’s terrifying. How will he cope? Well, he doesn’t.
The Chain have been chasing the trail for days now, and it’s starting to grow cold. Four, who’s now Three, doesn’t want to give up, even if it means leaving the rest behind on the way.
Wild, Twilight and Time were the only ones who could really catch up, mostly because the rest needed to stay behind and protect everyone else.
Four turned around and looked back,
“Come on! Catch up, we need to get there before something happens to him!”
“Four, we can’t keep up with you!” Wild yells back. “You’re going to need our help anyways, if you want to find Vio again!”
Time and Twilight decide that Four is too desperate to reason with, and they both start their transformation process. They both turn into wolves, to become faster and catch up with Four.
-
How can someone so short run so fast?
-
Twilight’s Wolf form is already known to Wild, thus him not being so surprised, but when he sees Time’s transformation, it was like nothing he was expecting. Time wasn’t a green grey wolf like the Twilight, but a golden wolf like the morning sun.
“What the-” Wild spits out.
“There’s no time to explain, Wild,” Time says, fully a wolf now. “We need to get to Four, before he does something stupid.”
Wild doesn’t ask any further questions, and rolls with it.
-
It took them a few minutes, but they eventually caught up to Four in a small clearing of the woods. Time and Twilight change back to their Hylian forms.
“Four,” Twi says, panting. “You should’ve waited for us!”
Four doesn’t respond, he’s staring at a tree which has a big opening through the roots of it.
“What is that?” Wild asks, pointing to the odd tree. “It looks really out of place.”
Time recognizes it, and remembers things he never wanted to think about ever again. He knows not to touch it.
“Four!” Time yells out, but it was too late. “Four, don’t touch that!”
Four was already running up the stumps and then he jumped into the tree hole.
Without a second thought, the three in the chain jumped in after him.
-
They fell. They fell all the way down, but it didn’t feel like falling, more like… how do I put this? It felt like flying downwards.
Now they could’ve dealt with just fly falling, but it wasn’t just that, oh the images. The hallucinations these four Links in the chain saw when they fell.
-
For Wild: He saw colours he couldn’t explain, shapes that vaguely resemble spiders. Along with four shapes that look almost humanoid.
-
For Twilight: He saw no colour at all, in fact a lot of what he saw was completely dark. Very faint lights of green and purple glowing at the edge of his view.
-
For Time: He saw what he saw last time. He remembers this tree, and he remembers why he was here, for Navi. It was so long ago, but the images he saw are still burning in his mind. He wishes to get rid of it, but he knows that that's impossible.
-
For Four: The poor little guy. He saw only three colours, Green, Red, and Blue, with a long, stretched shadow below. The shapes were incomprehensible, but the colours themselves weren’t.
He’s missing an important part of his mind, he can’t cope with it. He. Just. Can’t. It was hard enough losing yellow to a shadow, he’s not losing purple.
-
They reached the bottom. To all their surprise except for Time, they were alive.
It was cold wood, and hollow, too… it didn’t feel secure enough to stand on, yet it didn’t break. Nevertheless, they all decided it was best to leave as soon as they weren’t dizzy.
“Everyone alright?” Twilight said, helping Four to his feet. “You three seem very dizzy. But-” He looks over to Wild. “You seem totally fine!”
“A cat always lands on his feet, Rancher!” Wild responds, laughing. “Actually, I don’t even think I’m a cat.”
Four urges them to get a move on out of this underground woodland. And, as you’d expect, he hasn’t the slightest clue where to go.
“I know the way but,” Time says, wearily. His armor is really heavy. “I’m not sure if we should keep going. I don’t want to go down here again.”
“Again?” Twilight asks, somewhat worried. “How did you get out?”
“It doesn’t matter, until we get out ourselves,” Time gestures to Wild, to cover up his scars, just in case.
-
What they didn’t notice, that Four snuck away while they were talking. Sneaky boy, very small and practically invisible when he wants to be. He had a hard time going through the maze of random drops in the unlevel ground and the twisted trees, but eventually, he made it to the exit. Or shall I say, entrance?
There’s an opening preceded by a short “case” of stairs that Four runs to.
He goes through the opening to what seems to be an inner clock workings. Two wooden staircases go different directions: one left, one right, but they both eventually lead to the same place. It’s very drafty and cold here, though it seemed that, through the rafters, the sun was still shining outside.
But the most noticeable thing for Four was the blood and black goo on the walls and rails. The blood was dried and seemed years old, while the black goo looked very fresh and sticky.
Four walked up the staircase to the left, careful not to touch the rails, and made it up to the top.
On this floor, he saw the strangest things.
Here are a few of the things he saw:
-
There was a wooden statue, about his height, that was sculpted to look a lot like a generic Kokiri, but it also had some kind of chalk coloured on its cheeks and its forehead. This chalk didn’t seem to be as new as the goo, but definitely newer than the blood on the walls.
There were also quite a few dead poes that seemed to have died in their bottles. But just the bottles had corpses in them, there were what looked to be corpses of all different kinds of races around Hyrule. Hylians, Gerudo, Termians, Zora, and let’s not leave out the Deku Scrubs. Whoever killed these people must’ve not cared if they were enemies or not.
-
But Four was mostly interested in following where the black goo had led to. He followed its trail, it went round the clock gear, through the underground, and up back to the staircase again. This goo monster must’ve been all around this place by now, there was no way for Four to exactly track it down.
But then Four remembered he still is more than one, even if he feels rather… slow.
He takes out his Four Sword and splits himself. It’s really painful, actually.
Red and Blue splice through him as he, himself Green, splits into three different people.
“Phew,” Blue scoffed. “I thought I’d never make it out into the real world again!”
“Come on,” Red said. “You know the drill, let’s go find Purple.” Red turns to Green. “Why do you think we should follow this goo trail to find Purple? I don’t see how it could help-”
“I just have a feeling,” Green said, assuringly. It turns out he’s the only one who had any instinct at all. Well, at least to his knowledge. “Now, let’s keep tracking these trails.”
-
Hours went by, but they still didn’t come any closer to their goal.
“Oh, I give up!” Blue whines, dropping a stick on the ground. “It’s never gonna lead anywhere!”
Green was about to respond, but he saw Time, Twilight and Wild all running their way.
“Four!” Twilight yelled. “We’ve been looking everywhere for you and-” he looks at Blue and Red, very confused. “What’s going on?”
It seemed that Wild was just as confused as Twi.
“You know,” Wild ponders aloud. “When you said you were missing part of yourself, one of your little people in your brain, I didn’t think you meant it literally.”
“WHAT OTHER WAY COULD I HAVE MEANT IT?” Red yells out, really frustrated from the tracking, and doesn’t like these questions at all. Thinking that they should “know this already.”
“Now, there’s no time for questions,” Time says, trying to calm these people down. “Questions may come later, for now, we track this goo trail.”
-
Green showed Twilight and Wild the way around, for being here for hours, he seems to know the layouts of the place.
But Time… he went upstairs and what he saw was the same thing that Four saw, but it has a different effect on him. To Four, these were just random objects, he didn’t really care about, but to Time, these items are hurtful. And now he’s afraid for Four, because he might just know what happened.
“Please don’t,” Time pleads to something. “Please, don’t make it this.”
Time turned around, with tears in his eyes as he asked Wild to come over to him.
Which Wild does so.
“Yes, old man?” Wild asks Time. “What do you need?”
Time gestures to Wild’s backpack he carries around everywhere.
“I need your mask that I gave you two years ago.”
“My mask? Which?”
“The one I gave you after the accident with the fairies?”
“Ah, that one. I’ll get it.”
Wild takes out a spear shaped mask, with gold green eyes, and yellow spikes from the jawline of it.
Time looks at it, but doesn’t touch it, knowing what would happen if he does.
“Wild,” He asks him, slowly. “Will you please- please take this mask to the clock itself and put it in between the clockwork? I can’t-”
“Oh, sure absolutely,” Wild says, eager to help Time in any way possible.
After putting it up there, he waited for a few hours watching, while the other tracked the goo monster or whatever it was.
Time eventually had enough waiting and yelled.
“GET DOWN HERE AND FACE ME, YOU COWARD!” he screamed, a lot louder than many assumed he could.
Everything began to shake and a tall figure showed in the corner.
“Well,” the figure said, now showing himself. “If it isn’t that teensy weensy boy I had to deal with, oh, let me see, two hundred years ago?”
“Time,” Green whispers. “Who is this?”
The man straightened his back, which showed him to be very tall, if he wasn’t always slouching. He had blood orange hair with purple clothing. He didn’t look very old himself, but the clothes he wore were tattered and dirty, probably from living here.
“Oh, so I’m the coward now?” he said. “Hmm? Wasn’t it you who left without fulfilling your end of the bargain?”
“That was years ago,” Time responded. “And you attacked me, wouldn’t that have been enough to make us enemies?
The Happy Mask Salesman, whom he obviously is, collapsed on the ground. He actually started scream-sobbing.
This guy is way too moody.
Green had nothing to do with this man, and wanted it to stay that way. He knew this was Time’s matter and thus, left the area.
-
He went down those stairs again, but now it looks like fresh goo has been lathered onto the other layers below. He followed these new messes to the lower rooms to the left of the entrance.
“What’s down here…?” Green thought to himself. “Why is i-”
He was interrupted.
“Green!” Red and Blue shouted, running up to him. “You can’t just leave us behind!”
“Sorry,”
“Sorry?”
“Yeah, come along, I think I found something”
They followed Green through the rooms, and there seems to be more goo in these rooms than the others. After a little searching, they found a room that was almost pitch black.
“Can any of you light a torch or something?” Blue asks the others. “I can’t see a thing!”
Red takes out of Green’s satchel, a small wooden stick and uses this as a “torch.”
The warm light that it sets off is very soothing for their poor, strained eyes. But that’s not all it does, with the ability to see again, they can see where all the goo was coming from.
-
In the corner of the room was a small ball of ickiness, dripping in goo.
“I think I should take a closer look,” Green suggested. “You two stay.”
They nodded in agreement as Green advanced towards this thing. He stepped slowly and cautiously, like a human advancing to a sleeping tiger. As he stepped closer he could definitely see a clearer picture of this monster’s form.
It had a face, a face! And not just any face, but a face that Green could recognize; for under all that monstrous grossness there was an actual person, Vio.
It sure was Vio, but now it’s so monstrous and so… cannibalised that no one besides Four would recognize him.
“Vio?” Green says, calmly as he steps closer. “By Din, what happened to you?”
Blue and Red sneak up next to Green to see Vio closer.
Vio...the monster- didn’t understand a word they were saying. Vio was barely even Vio anymore, he’s become a monster in Green’s absence.
What happened to him?
-
“Time,” Wild says, worryingly. “What’s going on? Who is this person, how does he know you?”
Time doesn’t respond, knowing the Traveller -- what he calls the Happy Mask Salesman -- will take it as an insult.
“What did you do with Vio?” Time asks the Traveller. “Where is he?”
There was quite a long pause, the Traveller being quite angry at the moment.
“.....who?” he finally says. “I don’t know anyone named Vio, but then again, I’m not very good with names.”
“He’s short, purple hair, purple eyes, and a black tunic?”
“Did he also have a headband?”
“Yes! Yes, he did!”
“I’ve seen him around here.”
“Where?”
The Traveller turned around and flounced.
“Uuuuuuuuuuuuugh,” he groaned, annoyed. “Why should I know? Yeesh!”
This person really needs to deal with his attitude. Fucking why.
