Just finished this messenger bag for an art show we are doing on Saturday. Hand dyed cotton bag appliquéd with a cyanotype print of a photo of one of our many creepy doll heads painted with Golden paints. Procrastination, for the win.

Just finished. I'm so happy with how this one turned out! At just over 17" (43cm) in diameter this is my largest design to date. Each section uses only 2 thread colours (white + 1 other). Blackwork embroidery on 14-count Aida cloth.
Pattern here.

Indonesian fiber artist Mulyana has taken over the Fisher Museum of Art with colorful, hand-knitted and crocheted aquatic life.
With the duality of life and death as a recurring theme, Mulyana crafts a tactile, mystical world in which fish, whales, and coral reefs coexist with sea monsters and slow states of decay.

A mushroom I recently made. I'm exhibiting my work at a local gallery right now and I've had a lot of time to create while guarding the exhibit.
