I'm loving X-Men 97 And it's pretty hard not to notice the dynamic between Morph and Wolverine. I saw that one screenshot with Wolverine with his shirt all ripped opened and Morph is just there, standing next to him. Like, just because you don't have any pupils, doesn't mean we can't tell that you're giving the twins a look over.

I’ve been seeing a lot of anti-Nazi ones, which is great, but I felt like we needed one to show our support for the Jewish community.

as soon as I saw the escape pods in my play through I gasped, like they were NOT going to make us do that? and then that scene happened and I literally sobbed, this dude has been through so much man.

I'm having thoughts about Cal's panic attack after you escape the Lucrehulk that I can't articulate.

When they announced this game I was worried they might continue the plot but not be interested in hitting as hard emotionally as Fallen Order. After all, it's a hard thing to balance a player character's extreme emotional vulnerability with the power fantasy of cutting down stormtroopers in one hit and it's easy to alienate your audience if you overdo it.

Clearly, I was wrong to assume the developers weren't interested anymore in kicking Cal around and putting the results under a microscope. Both games in this series are angsty as hell (funny as hell, too, but that's beside the point). There is something so appealing (to me) about a video game - an action game at that - that is not only story driven but that's also extremely interested in being aware of the state of mind of its protagonist at all times and that trusts that its audience of gamers is just as invested in a deep dive into this poor guy's head as they are in maiming stormtroopers and making the lightsaber glow in their favourite colour.

That said, I am nowhere near done with this game, but I do expect satisfying pay-off for all the pain in the end, or else what is the point? (No spoilers please.)

really weird shower thought but I really want to know how Cal’s music tastes translate into the real world/star wars. like yes, I know the music he listens to is a real Mongolian rock band but in the star wars universe is it the space equivalent of a niche genre like said Mongolian rock is or is he listening to the star wars equivalent of Fall Out Boy or something. like during the arena segment he says ‘he recognizes this band’ so are they a seedy underground indy group that is playing live there or is it generic pump up arena music like you hear at hockey games (i’m Canadian, shush) and Cal is just like ‘holy shit it’s space ‘all I do is win’ by space dj khaled. 

so what is really boils down to is in the star wars world is Cal’s taste in music basic or niche.

Why are we saying Cal Kestis is bland as if having an extensive and ever expanding collection of the most unsubtle ponchos known to man (as an on the run fugitive) and the impulse to adopt every single 'cute' creature that moves whether it can fit in the mantis or not, aren't hilarious and interesting character quirks. These are his emotional support ponchos and his anxiety reducing 50 foot ancient alien bird what isn't there to love about this dude

I cannot overstate how happy it makes me to see a girl telling another girl that she loves her in a kid-oriented show. And in Power Rangers of all things! A show that has, historically, not tended to even treat their straight couples this well. 

Meanwhile, Izzy and Fern have been girlfriends since halfway through Season 1, have even had an episode where they went to prom together, and now are saying their “I love you”s and revealing secret identities before the end of Season 2 with five episodes of Season 2 and a whole new upcoming third season left to go.
