Being able to make potions is a very helpful ability to have! It can also make for a great hobby, or business.
At least, so long as someone isn’t using them for harmful means.
Be careful about what potions you use on what creatures though! Sometimes they will have the opposite effect of what you intended. Be sure to do research on what your species can and can’t interact with.

Keralis and... uh. potions? yeah lets go with potions.
I’m not sure is this is a keralis with a pumpkin on their head, or a pumpkin for a head. Plus I may be missing important context, so this may be inaccurate.
But they seem to be well enough! And they look very cool! So hopefully this keralis is okay?

(This art is amazing!!!!)
happy halloween month! here are some spooky hermit icons i made for @hermithorrorweek, which you should totally check out if all these month-long art challenges are a little too daunting.
[image description: a digital drawing of keralis. he's a nutcracker puppet with a cap, tshirt and braided hair. he's holding up a peace sign. in the bottom right is a doodle of him and xb. xb is sitting on the ground while keralis leans over him and says "heyyy~" end id]
This is an emergency what if an adoption center labels a keralis as only hybrid but then months later he turns out to also be eldritch and now none of us know how to accommodate his needs HELP
Oh no! \[OoO]/
I recommend looking at sites that collect information on eldritches, particularly ones that number them, if you put in some discriptors there’s a chance they know what specific eldritch they are.
Also search for businesses that often work with eldritches, they may be able to help sort it out, or at least help somehow.
If you don’t want to keep them, that’s understandable. This happens sometimes. Not all eldritches are easy to spot, and get mistaken for something else. Their maintenance levels tend to range so you can’t really tack on what it would be like to take care of them, and it’s often hard just to find out what’s needed for them.
hey btw your posts are not triggering for unreality, at least to me and the other psychotic people ive talked to! but i would say PLEASE be careful about how you explain your blog when talking about why you tag as unreality because the way you phrased that was pretty triggering. this is a gimmick blog! you can just say "i tagged it as unreality bc i treat keralis like an animal -which he is not- and the comments i make can be misconstrued" and leave it at that
Ah! I’m so sorry!
Thank you for telling me! I tend to overthink and over-explain things, which obviously backfires. I’ll be sure to use this new knowledge, and be more careful about my wording.
I might use your words to explain from now on if that’s okay, since I’m not sure how else to phrase it.
Please do let me know if there are ever any problems! I won’t hesitate to change things if needed, and I’m always open to learn about stuff.
Keralis was about to sing a very loving song to Xisuma, and while it may be understandable to not want to hear it, it’s rude to just cut someone off like that.
🎵~ \[ÚoÙ]\
The way Xisuma cut off Keralis’ love song is killing me 💀
Hey not sure if you know, the unreality tag is usually used to cw for statements that induce unreality thoughts or psychosis. I noticed you use it on all your posts since i have the tag filtered!
I, and some of the account like this, tagged it as unreality bc i treat keralis sort of like an animal -which he is not- and the comments i make can be misconstrued

(Edited because the first one was understandably likely to trigger some folk)
There's a 70% chance they won't use the stickers, they want the stuff because it looks pretty.
Get them a sticker album and you get a distracted Keralis. (Yes i checked in with other Keralis owners and it works for them too!!)
Just wanted to share this, in case it helps someone
A great idea! Just make sure, if they do place stickers everywhere, you’re careful about where you let your keralis put them.
When I was a kid, my sis and I put stickers all over our bunk bed. They stayed there for probably around 16 years. Just this last year we took them off by making them sticky again with the heat from a blow-drier. Though a lot of back bits are still stuck that we couldn’t get off, and the stickers could get really hot from that, therefore bad to touch, so be careful!
Oh thank you so much for talking about that. I've got a friend who lives in a city, a Really Busy City, who got a warden hybrid Pearl. And they live in an apartment so they can't provide her with a soundproof room and now they have a constantly distressed Pearl who's banging holes through walls and phasing through their neighbours' floors and attacking them, and now they need to go to court, and there's talk of does the Pearl need to be put to sleep and I'm just. Babe, why did you think this was a good idea in the first place, and why didn't you just surrender her to a shelter when you realised you couldn't take care of her
That’s terrible!
I’m very sorry for everyone involved, especially the warden hybrid. An mcyt doesn’t deserve to be put down because someone else put them in a bad situation.
This is a great example as to why people should put more thought into it.
Hello! I’ve been considering adopting a Keralis so I was wondering what I should go about doing to prepare adopting one? I already have a Helsknight and will be making a blog about one soon (ooc: I’ll make a blog if I have motivation to lol) but I wanted to know how to care for a Keralis! I went through your entire blog for help but all of them were for after getting the Keralis and none for before :( so help?
Often it depends on what Keralis you’re thinking about adopting. What do you have in mind?
Here’s a vague list about their species, though it doesn’t go into specifics.
But regardless of type, you’ll have to have enough space for them to move around in, which can be a lot, and the proper foods they need.
It can be like taking care of a child, or a really really small person. Though you probably already know that with your Wels.
Common Keralis traits include being social, really curious (often ending up with more than one hobbies, and trying new things), the love of music, and getting/giving verbal praises and compliments. Though these traits aren’t garenteed, we’ve noticed they’re very common.
Once again, it all depends on the specific species you want to get. I reccomens doing lots of research before hand. Be sure to search for housing, diet, and any other necessities you think might apply.
With the new Minecraft 1.19 update, and new mobs added to it, the want for those hybrids will undoubtedly go up.
If you are considering getting a hybrid of a species you only recently found out about, please be sure to do the proper research and obtain the proper accommodations before getting one!
I know you think they’re cute, but if you can’t take care of them, please don’t get them.
