Crowley Meratyn Appreciation Post

Crowley Meratyn was literally one of the most unselfish, nice, determined and inspirational characters ever though like why isn’t he discussed more often? He stood up for a random girl he didn’t know in a tavern at the potential cost of his own life because she was being harassed by Morgarath’s men. He refused to just give up to Morgarath like a lot of the Rangers were prepared to do and fought back. He took charge when no one else would and didn’t even take a moment to consider that he might become the commander of the corps, he was prepared to do it with no thanks at all. When Crowley realized Halt liked Pauline he immediately encouraged him to act on his feelings and supported him though all the years. He sensed that Halt’s past was sensitive to him and never pushed or asked about it through all the years, instead doing his best to give Halt somewhere where he could be happy. He encouraged all the Rangers to fight and then restored them and lead them. Crowley spent hours doing paperwork, even though it is explicitly stated that he hates doing it just so the rangers could operate. Crowley never gave up on the Rangers or doubted them and he usually achieved what he set out to do. Crowley’s honeslty the best character I’ve read in a long time, and he needs to be appreciated a lot more!

Modern Rangers

Will would be a total fangirl of mystery/mysterious shows. He’d have a ‘stranger things‘ shirt with the ‘st‘ scribbled out. He’d have a youtube theory channel where he does theories on stranger things, doctor who, steven universe, and the unsolved mysteries of gravity falls. His channel would be pretty popular because his theories would be correct 85% of the time.

Gilan would probably have a crap ton of orchids and he’d know how to take care of them better than anyone. As of social media, he’d spend most of his time on Instagram, posting the most aesthetically pleasing pictures you could ever dream of.

Halt wouldn’t use social media. He would text periodically, but not very often. Usually, people text him, not him texting them. His phone would always be on either vibrate or silent. Unlike Gilan and Will, he doesn’t really like Starbucks. He prefers more homemade coffee. 

Crowley would probably hike a lot. More often than not, he’d post pictures of his hikes on Instagram/twitter. He’d likely be an LGBT+ rights supporter. Not a very strongly, but enough that most people know. He likes to spam Halt with gifs of cats just to annoy him. He’s probably the reason Halt doesn‘t use his phone too often.
