Throwback to my VX. You were so minty. I worked hard to pay for you. I thought long and hard about all the different ads on eBay, Craigslist, and KSL. When I found you I knew you were perfect. Just some old fishermans camera that had been used less than a handful of times. You still had all your original stickers and you looked as crispy as the Opteka fisheye that I ordered for you. When I held you in my arms I didn't care about the heat on my back, the hours in uncomfortable positions, buying endless amounts of tapes, and even capturing footy. I loved you my little #VX2100 You were the light of my life. You were the first VX working on #SPLIFFHOUSE and I'm proud to say that you motivated two of my friends to get their own VX's. You never got to see the completion of the film and for that I apologize. I should've kept you closer, held you longer, but instead I let you go. I don't know with whom or how you left me, but I hope they show you even 1/10th of the love I had for you. I know I'll never feel the same way about a VX in my whole life. I may never even be able to bring myself to film SD again, but you taught me that I can do anything I set my mind to. I put together the means to acquire the most minty VX to ever grace the West Side of the Rocky Mountains. Though I'll never see you again, I want to tell everyone.
