whappy ending
I think old married couples can relate to this experience. Funnily enough, it was common television sitcom practice in the 1950s for couples to sleep in separate beds, so I don't know what Betty and Veronica are doing here.

The two panels that have two lines to denote Veronica's cleavage are the two panels they adjust.

"In the Mood!!"
Her pants are not far off from what she was wearing during that time period. On the shirt, during this seventies period while it is interesting some of the things that appeared on t-shirts (Mickey Mouse to Mickey Rat?) no one was ever going to wear that one. It is a little amusing to see Robert Crumb did see an appearance in Archie Comics, ads selling iron on decals with the "Keep on Truckin'" image (C7), and another for Mr. Natural (D3). Though I am more curious on how the Budweiser and the "Master" and "Slave" ones pass code standards.
In keeping with a Crumb response page on the growing popularity of his "Keep on Truckin' ", ("keep on [blank]in' " with comical number of copyright notices splashed about) -- decal J6 has "Keep on Bikin' ". Curious too that later ads see a copyright Crumb note, pointing to the state the issue was in the court system.

No Peace
Peace has fallen by the wayside, in favor of space.
The new room is one without a window. It was causing a problem -- Archie and Betty routinely getting distracted watching the pretty girls walk by. The second one throws three questions. What accounts for Veronica's expression? Where is Archie looking toward? What happened to the globe?

"Nothing but a Hound-Dog"
Right around Dilton's hands. I guess it changes it -- in the former, the book was stationary while his head bobbed forward and back. Now he's moving the book along with his head.

The woman on the left gets her neck drawn in.
Oil valve leak. One of the problems plaguing Riverdale in the indicia filler universe.
Singing owl. Bob Bolling likes his owl narration. Might be better described as filling the role of the old Greek Chorus.

Printing error and now Archie and Moose are wrestling shirtless. Or, I guess, with mesh shirts.
A tad notable they kept the next panels in tact.

Science Trouble
I think they should have kept "scarey".
From two different strands of a plot premise -- Prof Flutesnoot speculates on what Earth's atmosphere would do to space bacteria he somehow has whilst Jughead and Archie try to find a science fair exhibit acceptable to Mr. Weatherbee, the story veers into a reprise of the Frese to Schwartz tale.
The Little Archie version loses the script a tad and switches from Martian to monster. And one subtle difference for Little Archie as against Jughead in reaction to Miss Grundy.
"You two girls" is only used in version one, after which Mr. Weatherbee drops it to "you too". "Kiddies" is dropped with the Little Archie version.
Reggie's 1953 stint as alien creature was more purposeful and, frankly, less hidden. Really -- how do you not see that is Reggie?
Over in Tppy Teen, Samm Schwartz's knock-off Archie project with Tower Comics in the mid to late 60s, their principal is in the green costume doing the scaring.

Betty has a white under-shirt then is buttoned all the way up then has no shirt. Also yellow pockets disappear into blueness. Archie eventually goes with blue pants. Yvette remains a constant.

Souphead the Cynic
A very weird change to the story which I do not see as effective, the initial observing of his little cousin's non-gallant behavior is now calling him out. It makes the next panels less sensical. And on this relationship -- What? Is Souphead Archie and Priscilla Betty?
This just might be the first and only appearance of, um, Little Souphead -- Little Jughead's preschool attending young cousin. Though it does not exactly follow the script of "Soupy the Cynic" and its clone (identical, except for that first panel and with one page added so they are no longer helping / hindering only old ladies) "Mind Over Matter", it proceeds with the same ground.
In the last Little Jughead and Littler Souphead they go on to screw with Mr. Weatherbee's hairpiece.

video vexation
We see a cherry get erased, as too the colorings bringing the sundae to lots of vanilla.
Comics dot org identifies the premise of this story as a variation of the previous decade's "Speed Deed", with "tv tennis" (otherwise known as Pong) taking the place of model racing. Funny in that if one wanted to identify stories as coming from the same premise, t hose two stories are just mildly shifted from "Beach Botch" with beach volleyball, "Drag Drama" with drag racing, and with a different ending (victory to the patriarchy!) "Wheel Zeal" with skateboarding. The key difference between the first two stories and the last three that in the former Betty, Veronica, and Midge all become good at the specific activity where the latter three it is only Betty while Veronica is unable to divert the boys' attention with her "shortest shorts" or brief swimsuit. And onto a grand prize contest with the victor getting a Lodge Enterprises sponsored date with Veronica, the contest won by Betty. But, George Glaidir does appear to be working off two different scripts for roughly the same story five times, elements abound for them elsewhere. (Anyone up for jigsaw puzzles?)
