Okay, so I read that one "Side Effects of Kai, Cole, Jay, and Zane's powers because I'm bored or something" headcannon thing, and AAAAAHHHH ALL OF THEM ARE SO GOOD! I was wondering if I could have permission to write stuff about them? (No pressure to respond or agree)

YEAH I'm fine with anyone using them in fanfiction (or any of the headcanons I post for that matter)! I think it's really cool that people want to write fanfiction that includes them actually :D

I'd love to see what people come up with for it, I haven't really thought about anything in that post since posting it lol.

Anyway yeah, feel free to write about that post or any of my other posts that strike writing inspiration, I think it's cool that my posts can inspire other people :)

Side affects of Kai, Cole, Jay, and Zane’s powers because I’m bored or something

Kai’s almost constantly hungry. Fire needs to be fed on a near constant basis, and this made its way into Kai. Kai’s aquaphobia also comes from being the master of fire, since water puts out fire (I mentioned this in my “How different weather affects the elemental masters of creation” post). He also has a higher body temperature than an average human, so it takes a little longer for a fever to get to emergency levels for him. He also heats up the area around him if he’s upset.

While Jay has a higher tolerance for being electrocuted compared to other people, he’s not immune to it. If he’s not careful, he can electrocute himself to the point of going to the ER (this is mildly supported by Jay being able to shock himself awake when he’s asleep). Being electrokinetic also means he can control electrical signals in his nervous system; sometimes this is a good thing, sometimes it’s a bad thing (as controlling electrical signals means he will not hesitate to cut off the electrical signals that cause pain, and y’know, pain exists for a reason). This is canon but if he’s upset he also starts sparking (although I like to think it happens if he gets super excited too).

Cole is technically geo-thermokinetic, and not exclusively geokinetic. He’s partially immune to being burned by small amounts of lava/magma, but if he was to, for example, try to swim in it, he’d still end up with at least second degree burns, if not third degree burns. He also has scars where his arms turn to magma when he uses his Earth Punch ability.

Zane had to learn how to properly control his powers after he rebuilt himself. If he got too upset, it’d mess up his internal mechanics, and he’d end up in the Samurai X cave being taken care of by either Nya or Jay. If he’s upset, the surrounding area’s temperature drastically decreases, to the point of needing to wear a jacket around if he’s upset for longer than a few minutes.

oh before i go to sleep, i completely forgot to mention why i made his paws and the tips of his ears and tail purple, considering my furry ninjago designs stick pretty closely to "natural" fur colors lol.

he dyes his paws and the tips of his ears and tail purple for fun. he'll say it's because he's the purple ninja (and that is part of it) but it's largely just because he thinks it's fun. he probably didn't actually start doing it until after he met antonia either, because if i ever designed antonia (which i don't think i will honestly, for a few reasons that i won't go into because it's 1:30am and i told myself i was gonna go to sleep 2 hours ago; someone remind me to make a public list of characters i'm not comfortable doing furry designs for speaking of this) i'd do a similar thing with her markings since her hair looks like it's dyed maroon/red

AuDHD king, first thing he did once he was safe after getting isekai'd was start the "League of Jays" which was literally just a pretty sizeable cult following where people used avatars based on his past outfits from previous seasons. Kai refers to them as nutjobs and Jay says "The League of Jays aren't 'nutjobs,' they're fans. And they're awesome!" and then proceeds to accuse Cole and Kai of being jealous lol
