SNOW BELLE AND LONDON BLUE

A Jorleesi Victorian Tale of Christmas (and two springs)

Summary:

In Victorian London, a petite silver-white rabbit, known as Snow Belle, captures the heart of a blue hare hailing from Bear Island, nicknamed London Blue. Though she thrives in the care of her masters, Lady Daenerys and Lord Mormont, she longs for adventure… and soon finds it when she wrecks havoc in London Blue’s band of brothers, finding love in the process!

My most heartfelt thanks to @terisrog, who script-edits my work like the snow faerie she always is, and also to my guest-artist extraordinaire @silverstone12345 , who brought her own romantic vision to my tale and enlightened it. Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!!!!

Finally, I would like to dedicate this tale to @rileypotter17 and @regresso-com-agonia  who’s grace under fire this Holiday season commands admiration. Ladies, I hope the New Year smiles down on you. You so, so deserve it!

Summary to chapter 1:

Once upon a time, there lived in the deepest forest of Bear Island, a Lord, unjustly cursed who, try as he may, could refrain the beast within him no more. It stirred whenever a sword was put in his hand… or when, he was now discovering, other appetites struck, imperious! And yet, he loved the damsel he had rescued, the one he had followed in secret, making sure the path to her great-aunt’s house remain safe.

“What big arms you have!” she was whispering, sponging the dirt from him.

Oh! Princess, do not tempt me.

Intro to chapter 2:

The nights are long on Bear Island, a blessing for the Lovers who slept intertwined. It was Jorah who closed his eyes last, looking after Daenerys, inside the fortress of his arms. “More?” she murmured sleepily, before slipping away, not seeing Jorah smile and nozzle her. “Yes, my precious. I’ll never stop,” he whispered, kissing her silky hair and holding her tight.

He woke again, sometime later, just long enough to marvel at the gift in his arms. Daenerys. He tried to swallow and failed. He felt a prickle in his eyes. And his side hurt, but not from the scar, simply from his heart, beating for her.

A bird was calling, and Jorah woke again, this time with a smile on his lips. He turned to Daenerys, in the blue light of dawn, still feeling her warmth upon his skin, but started: her side of the bed was empty!
